Yelp definitely didn't let me down on this one... this place hit all of the right spots! Small, but not crazy busy... great food and service, affordable, and all in a timely manner. We ordered a regular keeping it simple and a kids little simple, a BYOO with chorizo, bacon and avocado, a classic French toast, and of course ebelskivers with fudge. Everything came out fresh, the chorizo was tasty, the toast was perfect, and the ebelskivers were delicious... and all for $50! This is our closest brunch spot, so we come pretty often but overall the menu isn't as alluring as some of the other brunch spots a bit further. We tried the quiche and the eggs Benedict this time around, as well as the beignets which were all great. Since post-COVID their dining room has halved though, so you need to get their early or you'll be waiting. read more

We have been here a handful of times and love it! During the times we have gone(weekday mornings) we get seated right away-might be different during the weekend. The waitresses are extremely friendly and attentive. I thought it was pretty awesome also to see woman chefs. Honestly sadly enough you don't see that very often. Part of me really wants to give this place a 1 star review just to keep the crowd away. Food is delicious, waitstaff is fantastic. They just opened up a new addition to the dining area to allow more guests which is awesome! This is my go to brunch place. I never leave without a smile on my face. About the food - breakfast burrito is massive and delicious The biscuits and gravy does not skimp with the gravy. So good. We tried Three Little Griddles for the first time today - overall it was pretty good. My husband got the smothered burrito, I got Elvis Toast, our son just got a pancake. The food was great, but the service was underwhelming. Our server was slow, and never once came back to check on us. We had to flag a busboy down to get a couple of extra napkins. We went because I found it on the gluten free app. I wanted something different. The reviews were good. When we got there, they were out of gluten free bread. Little disappointed with the limited menu. Just eggs were safe. They ended up getting bread, so I could have French toast, I was excited about that part. The frittata was glorified scrambled eggs, but plenty and good. No complaints about the food itself, only wish they had more options to eat. Gravy made with cornstarch would be good... pastries or a cinnamon roll... I think I am a little bitter these days about NOT getting what everyone else does unless I make it myself. This place has really taken a turn for the worse. I've been coming to this place since they opened. Originally it was a decent place. The food was good, service was good and prices were fair. Over the last couple years the quality of the food has declined significantly while the prices have gone up significantly. I recently ordered a to go order and it will be the last time I order food from this restaurant. I was extremely disappointed when I got home and realized what was in the food boxes. For starters there were no condiments or utensils included. The pancake short stack I ordered was just that. No butter, no syrup. 3 pancakes. The eggs Benedict I ordered looked like something you'd expect to get from McDonalds. Visually, extremely unappealing. There was no Hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict. I returned to the restaurant and made them aware of the issue. They initially tried to give me a cup of Hollandaise sauce, I asked them to remake the food because it had already been sitting out over 20 minutes. They claimed to have remade the food but upon returning home I don't think they did. I think they reheated it and gave me two small cups of Hollandaise sauce. When I returned home the second time I attempted to eat the eggs Benedict. It was inedible. The potatoes were mush, the ham was extremely tough and dry. The English muffins were so tough I had to use a steak knife to cut them and even after that, they were nearly impossible to chew. This place has become a major disappointment. There are several other options in the area that are much better and offer better prices. read more

This place has really gone downhill. Went on a Sunday outside of rush hours and it was chaos. They had multiple tables open but lots of people standing around and no order to anything at all. The wait staff seems to ignore you until you make an extra effort to get someone's attention. They are not short staffed, just majorly disorganized and they have been doing this long enough that they should know better. It's unpleasant to eat in the dining area, listening to the door slam constantly and it's very drafty in the winter-bring a coat unless you sit back by the kitchen. They are nice enough and the food is decent but the service is really bad now. It took almost an hour to get our food, we had to constantly ask for refills on coffee, etc. Sure do miss the old ownership. It's just no longer a good experience and not worth it for us to go there anymore. We wanted to keep supporting a local small business but for as much as this place charges for their food coupled with such a miserable eating experience, we will honestly never eat here again and will support some other small business. Awesome Customer service. Soon as we walked when we were seated immediately. Not even a minute later we got asked what we wanted to drink. Then we got asked 3 times if we were ready to order. Which is a plus for me because we didn't have to worry about chasing down a waiter or anything like that. I ordered "keeping it simple" with bacon for my meat!! Delicious! I don't usually do hash browns but I gave them a try and I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were decent. Had to add my own seasoning but I understand because everyone doesn't like the same amount of seasoning so they play it safe by under seasoning the eggs. The french toast I would have to rate a 6. I drowned mine in syrup to finish them. I like the crowd very balance from young to old, from hipster to teachers. The music was pretty modern and upbeat. Cute little place. The breakfasts here are amazing. I ordered the veggie pancake and it's huge and delicious. I took half it home for left overs and it was delicious the next day. The bacon is thick and very flavorful. The staff is very friendly. Although listed as has vegan options, it is not really vegan friendly so my goddaughter did not join us. My server, Lidia, did not explain any additional costs when I changed potatoes to vegetables. The coffee is excellent- they serve DazBog as their house brand. In our party of three we ordered: Biscuits and Gravy 5/5 - fluffy biscuits with great gravy with loads of sausage Cinnamon Bun 3/5 - served warm. Nice cinnamon and brown sugar flavors, but the original topping was a bit too sweet and the Bun got hard quickly so you need to eat it fast. Three Meat Griddle Cake - 3/5. Very large. It is sort of like a bland pancake filled with meats and topped with sour cream and pico. It wasn't very "savory". Can easily be shared. Would go back for coffee and biscuits/gravy alone. The cream of the grits and that precious hominy umami coat of the tongue, then the Spicy shrimp & crispy bacon bite with a hint of garlic just send me into a foodgasm. Please forgive the gush. All for $13.99. I've paid $$$ for this all over the US and no one has touched this flavor combo. It's a small place. It fills up fast so expect a wait unless it's an odd time or day. I've been wanting to check out Three Little Griddles for what seems like forever! This past Sunday the BF and I stopped in to get our brunch on and let me tell you: it was fabulous! Three Little Griddles is located in a strip mall area near Southlands. So the space is fairly small and fills up quick! We arrived toward the tail end of the brunch hours (close to 12:30) and were seated immediately. Absolutely love it when there's not a wait. We browsed the menu and made our meal choices. The BF wanted to try the TLG quiche, but unfortunately they were out (they warn you on the menu that once it's out, it's out!); so he went for his backup order of the traditional eggs benedict. I opted for the carnitas benedict special. Mmm... The carnitas benedict was so good! Def ranks in my top ten benedicts! It had a black bean salsa on it and just the right amount of spice. Plus the carnitas was perfectly tender. Both our meals came with home fries which are traditionally seasoned breakfast potatoes, cut like french fries. Everything was perfectly delish! Our server was very attentive, without being over bearing, and ensured that our glasses were never empty. Sadly they do not serve those boozy brunch classics here like Bloody Mary's or Mimosas. Oh well. They do feature Dazbog coffees and some teas! Due to the most inefficient and confusing seating/ordering process that I have ever seen, we ended up leaving this establishment after some grumpy old started yelling at us from behind the counter. Their process sucks; when questioned about it, the designated grumpy old person behind the counter will insult you and make you feel unwelcome...while the rest of the staff struggles to understand the seating/ordering process. We walked out after being verbally accosted by the staff. Luckily for us us, the current diners informed us we dodged a bullet--the food sucked anyway! We started with Dad's Cinnamon Roll with cream cheese frosting. The inside of the cinnamon roll was chewy and warm and filled with cinnamon and icing. The outside was ehhh - a little crispy for me, but for sure recommend this to start if you have a sweet tooth (very sweet). The food came out within 5 or so minutes of our cinnamon roll. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with Scrambled Eggs, Potatoes, Cheese & Sausage smothered with pork green chili which was so good. The pork green chili was on point for sure. We also ordered the Elvis Toast. This classic toast smothered in peanut butter & topped with bacon & banana & drizzled with honey is like the perfect breakfast choice for the person who can't decide between sweet and salty. tldr; Same great food, poor new experience I was very happy to see this restaurant make it through Covid-19 restrictions. Unfortunately it transformed into a fast food restaurant. You walk in, get in line to order your food then go sit down. The food is still great, but the experience has gone down. When I go out for a brunch or breakfast with friends, family, or colleagues I'm not wanting to stand in line behind an indecisive patron trying to describe how they want their eggs cooked. I want to come in, sit down, get my coffee and order my breakfast. Then I'm ready to snicker at the table next to me negotiate how they want their toast prepared.
