Since our last visit over the summer, they're now defunct & again renamed to Lucky Strike in 2025. Whew! Bowlero is actually closer to home than the defunct Gable House Bowl, & the very last bowling alley in Torrance after the demise of Palos Verdes Bowl prior to GHB. I went through a phase of bowling at least once per month in my YA years & recently started up again after having kids due to bowling birthday parties. I miss bowling... I bowled for the 1st time when I was teen & can even remember my 1st score of 77. I didn't bowl much, but I'm usually in the mid-range of 150 or thereabouts & have scored a few turkeys in my lifetime. At one point, I had planned to purchase bowling shoes so that I'm not using the public ones since I hung out with friends that either like to bowl or shoot pool. We were invited to a teen's 15th b-day at Bowlero & the space is huge! It has a mini arcade, bar, pool tables, & 40 bowling lanes that's equipped with lounge seats, blacklights, & HD screens that played movies, music videos, & sports. My daughter had a good ol' time with the birthday girl & their friends, most were from her Color Guard team. Both lanes seem to malfunction frequently enough that they didn't get a full 2 hours; the girls didn't seem that into bowling so it was fine. They were served pizza, chips & salsa with fountain drinks. I only wished they were either served before or after bowling to clean their hands since none of them thought to wash their hands between frames. Yikes! ＼(｀0´)／ None could really bowl & scoring 50+ points was an accomplishment with a couple scoring 100+; the random strikes helped in between the gutters. After a couple of rounds, the girls hung out at the arcade; it's on the smaller side with some games that offer tickets that can exchanged at the automated prize hub. I thought Bowlero would be a fun place to hold my 15 YO's birthday celebration the following month because there's so much downtime for her friends to chitchat & hangout. And I happened to find a really great Groupon Deal: $84 for 2 hours of bowling + shoes rental for 6... not sure of the normal rate, but this is $7/hour with shoe rental! I kept it small to help H build relationships with her friends. It's been only a month, & Bowlero is still riddled with technical issues that we spent more time waiting for the tech to fix the problems than bowling. Even with a lane switch didn't do much to fix the frequent downtime. I even requested to be closer to the center of the bowling alley, near the front desk due to the far left lanes' malfunctions. Again, scoring 50+ points was a real accomplishment with one g/f hitting 100+ in the 1st round. At the 2nd go, H had the highest score of 81. I'm not sure when is prime time but the parking lot was half-full at each visit & it was quite busy inside with half the alley in bowling action. Bowlero is a chill place for a family-friendly bowling game or two... if only the technical issues doesn't mar the experience.

However, Ben did not admit that he drilled incorrectly. Because of this, my two fingers are in pain. 2. He can't remember the price of the drill. So the price varies from time to time. 3. When I drilled a new ball, he included the cost of the insert in the price of the drill, even though I didn't need an insert. Isn't this a real FXXXXX? 4. He is not kind and often gets irritated. When I did started listening to him, I found out I was wrong on a lot of things. I have averaged 210-215 with Ben as my go to pro shop. Take a look at his shop and really look at all the home made stuff he made explaining ball motions and layouts. He knows his stuff well. Just customers think they know more than the pro shop operator and some how feel offended when they try to push their agendas against what he says. I know someone who has shot 17 300s with Ben as his go to pro shop, how can you shoot that many 300s if the driller is no good. Something to think about. I have attached one of my latest scores.

From my experience, you are able to purchase food at the bowling alley and it will be brought to you. Periodically, someone will come by to check and see how you're doing. They also will remove your dirty food tray whenever you are ready. The bowling alley is a fun family space. However, during tournaments, it can be a tricky place to navigate. Kids definitely should not be wandering around the bowling alley lanes if they are not bowling. Please keep your children close. I have seen so many accidents happen at bowling alleys because kids are not inappropriate spaces. I have only been here to bold during tournaments. I am not familiar with what it is like outside of that. Parking is available in the shopping center lot. There are plenty of spaces, but I will tell you, when there's a tournament, you better get there early to get a good spot. I really like the way that the tournament was run. Everything was very clear and well explained. Hopefully, I will see everyone there again next time.

Cal bowl lanes 03 22.2025…read more Had reservations at 6:30pm for a party of 15, for my wife's 50th Birthday. Online booking was very easy. Arrived 15 mins early prior to my official reservation time, since it was recommended to do so because of the wait time to get shoes. ID and credit card reservation was strict at the front counter, which I did not mind at all. They are actually doing me a favor by ensuring that someone is not performing fraudulent charges. We had lanes 14,15,16 for almost 2hrs. We all had a great time. We encountered a few minor hiccups on lane 14. Misfed pins and loose pins on the side. Lane 15 bumper support went up and would not go down. Notified the front desk. They were compliant but had to wait 5-7 mins to get the issues resolved. It's a bummer we were not getting compensated for the time loss. Regardless, we still had a great time! Went to the snack bar and ordered x 2 large pepperoni pizzas, chicken nuggets and 2 pitchers of fountain sodas. Process is to order first at the snack bar and pick it up at the pizza place outside of the venue. Was a weird set up but still worked. Also ordered 2 pitchers of beer along with assorted cocktails. We all had a very good time. We laughed and we cheered. No complaints at the front desk staff. They were terrific. The snack bar workers can be alittle nicer. They need to work on customer service. I also do not agree with the paying system that is being presented. A Tip option for what? Ordering your food?. This option should be removed from this venue. The pitchers I ordered beer from the bar... they did a fantastic job. The bartender was very nice! Got good vibes from her. I gave her a good tip just for the nice vibes. Overall I recommend this place. It gets packed on Friday and Saturday. There is plenty of parking. A few sketchy patrons at the time of our experience. As long as you keep it cool and mind your own business, I guarantee you will have a good time. I would come back.
