This was one of the few places that were open after 8 pm on Friday. I came in and grabbed food which to my surprise was actually pretty good. These were the items I got. Catalina Club Pizza - Thin crust with random types of meat. I enjoyed it and it was satisfying. (4.5/5) Mango Habanero Wings - Crispy and saucy. Loved it and it tasted quite fresh. (4.5/5) Service was mid and didn't feel too welcoming. They don't serve water (water bottle purchasable) but apparently that is normal in Catalina Island. Overall food was good and they had an Arcade to checkout on the other side.

This is suppose to be chilaquiles

I am disappointed in this place I ordered chilaquiles and this come with no egg I literally just ate chips and avocados THIS IS NOT CHILAQUILES CHANGE YOUR MENU TO CHIPS AND AVOCADO

Staff: Nice Quality: I have to say this place is surprisingly awesome. Looks small and unassuming from outside, but is well packed with a lot of great games. Even has a two lane bowling alley in the back but we didn't get to try as they were replacing some wood planks. Value: Really really fair pricing. Unfortunately neither of the machines for game cards had their credit card payment option working. This resulted in us using the only $10 cash we had but it actually lasted a decent amount of time due to the cost of games being fairly low. At the end we grabbed a few toys from the tickets earned. Overall: Totally would return here again. Pro Tip: Bring cash in case the credit card payment option is not working for you.

This is a fun place to go to when visiting the island. Is it the best arcade? No. It doesn't compare to arcades in California. But will it suffice on the island? You bet. This is a fun zone for children and adults. Not the most elaborate place; the games are very basic. But hey if you are in the mood for fun games and want to unwind a bit, this is a good place for it. They offer movie theater type food such as pizza, fries etc. To be honest the pizza didn't look half bad. But we had already eaten a full meal before stumbling upon the arcade. Otherwise I definitely would have gone for the "kids food" instead. Lol The arcade was pretty clean. Places to sit and eat outside and inside. Open during pandemic, which was nice we stopped in and played a couple games, then continued browsing the island. When I come back to Catalina Island, I will be hitting this arcade again. It's fun, so why not?

This place is amazing if you are wanting to have a little fun While having an adult beverage or if your children are on the island with you. Clearly doesn't compare to California arcades. However however for the island it was perfect and everything was clean, up-to-date with getting a card with points being added to the card per game. Not to mention that your adult beverages have a spot at every single game, no need to worry about where you're gonna put your beverage. Unfortunately we saw this place on our last day so we cannot attest to the food that is served here but the drinks were as strong as everywhere else on the island and tasty. This place is located off the main boardwalk on the island and in a shopping complex, employees were extremely nice and inviting. Answered all of the questions that we had. Would definitely come back either for some adult fun or with my son. There is air hockey, bowling, racing, and had a lot of fun playing basketball connect 4.

Great spot in the center of Avalon. Kids can play in the arcade next door while parents relax and enjoy a glass of Chardonnay!

The arcade is probably the smallest game center I've ever seen, few selections of game stations, most are old, and there are even two mini bowling lanes in the back, shorter and narrower than normal range.

Surprisingly fun! We were killing time before our ferry ride back to Long Beach and stopped in. There are a several arcade games which all seemed reasonably priced. Most were around 4-6 credits. Each credit costs 25 cents and must be loaded onto a card at the prize counter, similar to the Dave and Buster's cash-free experience. There were several video games, but my favorite were the non-video ones like air hockey and the Connect 4 electronic basketball game. We spent around $10 for just the games, had lots of fun, and racked up enough electronic tickets to trade them in for two small prizes. They also have a bowling alley in the back, but it is only two lanes and duckpin style (miniature pins and balls). It costs $5 per game, and you have to pay for a token (separate from the arcade card) at the counter. The business is attached to an eating area with tables, but that is very separate and I didn't see anyone bring food into the arcade area. I would suggest eating somewhere before or after.

It's open, but Yelp says it's closed ‍ Nice thin crust pizza, boy child liked the teriyaki wrap, girl child ate a whole small pepperoni pizza. Man child had the Mexican pizza and was impressed w the hot sauce. Jalapeño pizza for Me w actual stone IPA to wash it down. Service great, loud arcade, good people watching and am interested in the bowling.... I'll let you know

We had so much fun here. It has the games you'd expect- skeeball, air hockey, basketball, racing, etc. our favorite though was the basketball connect 4. Good way to kill time on the island.

After visiting the arcade (fun for all ages), we had a bite to eat right next door. Various items to choose from.

This was our first time visiting Catalina Island. Upon roaming around and discovering the place, we ran into Three Palms. It was exactly what I was looking for. A nice cooled place inside and some tables and chairs outside as well. We elected to sit outside. The inside is nice and clean with a great variety of food to choose from on their menu. They have beer, wine and cocktails as well. I stopped in particularly for a beer while we took a break from walking around. The beer prices are fair, they're friendly and courteous and the food that I saw them pushing out looked pretty good. Next door and part of the establishment is an arcade. My nephews spent some time in there and had a great time. Overall, I'll continue to come back here when visiting the island!

Review #966 2026-032…read more This used to be AMF Bowling & was later acquired via merger by Strike Holdings LLC (dba Bowlmor Lanes), & rebranded as Bowlero in 2017. Since our last visit over the summer, they're now defunct & again renamed to Lucky Strike in 2025. Whew! Bowlero is actually closer to home than the defunct Gable House Bowl, & the very last bowling alley in Torrance after the demise of Palos Verdes Bowl prior to GHB. I went through a phase of bowling at least once per month in my YA years & recently started up again after having kids due to bowling birthday parties. I miss bowling... I bowled for the 1st time when I was teen & can even remember my 1st score of 77. I didn't bowl much, but I'm usually in the mid-range of 150 or thereabouts & have scored a few turkeys in my lifetime. At one point, I had planned to purchase bowling shoes so that I'm not using the public ones since I hung out with friends that either like to bowl or shoot pool. We were invited to a teen's 15th b-day at Bowlero & the space is huge! It has a mini arcade, bar, pool tables, & 40 bowling lanes that's equipped with lounge seats, blacklights, & HD screens that played movies, music videos, & sports. My daughter had a good ol' time with the birthday girl & their friends, most were from her Color Guard team. Both lanes seem to malfunction frequently enough that they didn't get a full 2 hours; the girls didn't seem that into bowling so it was fine. They were served pizza, chips & salsa with fountain drinks. I only wished they were either served before or after bowling to clean their hands since none of them thought to wash their hands between frames. Yikes! \(`0´)/ None could really bowl & scoring 50+ points was an accomplishment with a couple scoring 100+; the random strikes helped in between the gutters. After a couple of rounds, the girls hung out at the arcade; it's on the smaller side with some games that offer tickets that can exchanged at the automated prize hub. I thought Bowlero would be a fun place to hold my 15 YO's birthday celebration the following month because there's so much downtime for her friends to chitchat & hangout. And I happened to find a really great Groupon Deal: $84 for 2 hours of bowling + shoes rental for 6... not sure of the normal rate, but this is $7/hour with shoe rental! I kept it small to help H build relationships with her friends. It's been only a month, & Bowlero is still riddled with technical issues that we spent more time waiting for the tech to fix the problems than bowling. Even with a lane switch didn't do much to fix the frequent downtime. I even requested to be closer to the center of the bowling alley, near the front desk due to the far left lanes' malfunctions. Again, scoring 50+ points was a real accomplishment with one g/f hitting 100+ in the 1st round. At the 2nd go, H had the highest score of 81. I'm not sure when is prime time but the parking lot was half-full at each visit & it was quite busy inside with half the alley in bowling action. Bowlero is a chill place for a family-friendly bowling game or two... if only the technical issues doesn't mar the experience.

From my experience, you are able to purchase food at the bowling alley and it will be brought to you. Periodically, someone will come by to check and see how you're doing. Kids definitely should not be wandering around the bowling alley lanes if they are not bowling. Please keep your children close. I have seen so many accidents happen at bowling alleys because kids are not inappropriate spaces. I have only been here to bold during tournaments. I am not familiar with what it is like outside of that. Parking is available in the shopping center lot. There are plenty of spaces, but I will tell you, when there's a tournament, you better get there early to get a good spot. I really like the way that the tournament was run. Cal bowl lanes 03 22.2025…read more Had reservations at 6:30pm for a party of 15, for my wife's 50th Birthday. Online booking was very easy. Arrived 15 mins early prior to my official reservation time, since it was recommended to do so because of the wait time to get shoes. ID and credit card reservation was strict at the front counter, which I did not mind at all. They are actually doing me a favor by ensuring that someone is not performing fraudulent charges. We had lanes 14,15,16 for almost 2hrs. We all had a great time. We encountered a few minor hiccups on lane 14. Misfed pins and loose pins on the side. Lane 15 bumper support went up and would not go down. Notified the front desk. They were compliant but had to wait 5-7 mins to get the issues resolved. It's a bummer we were not getting compensated for the time loss. Regardless, we still had a great time! Went to the snack bar and ordered x 2 large pepperoni pizzas, chicken nuggets and 2 pitchers of fountain sodas. Process is to order first at the snack bar and pick it up at the pizza place outside of the venue. Was a weird set up but still worked. Also ordered 2 pitchers of beer along with assorted cocktails. We all had a very good time. We laughed and we cheered. No complaints at the front desk staff. They were terrific. The snack bar workers can be alittle nicer. They need to work on customer service. I also do not agree with the paying system that is being presented. A Tip option for what? Ordering your food?. This option should be removed from this venue. The pitchers I ordered beer from the bar... they did a fantastic job. The bartender was very nice! Got good vibes from her. I gave her a good tip just for the nice vibes. Overall I recommend this place. It gets packed on Friday and Saturday. There is plenty of parking. A few sketchy patrons at the time of our experience. As long as you keep it cool and mind your own business, I guarantee you will have a good time. I would come back.
