the fudge is good, but the price for the fudge is exorbitant. 25 dollars for a pound of fudge? that's twice what you'd pay for fudge at similar touristy places like Gatlinburg. In short, the place is a ripoff. The lady in the shop talked our ear off as soon as we walked in there, and felt obligated to buy something. When we got our slice, I couldn't believe how small it was for the price! Also, the minimum you can buy is a quarter pound, and they don't offer sample boxes of different flavors to try. So, not only are you paying waaayyyy too much for fudge, you don't even have the option of trying a variety of flavors unless you plan on spending a ridiculous amount of money on a simple combination of chocolate, sugar, and butter. My family & I recently went to this establishment, first of, the city of Blue Ridge is very friendly but when we came in one of the sisters (the youngest) barely said hello to us and seemed to be annoyed we were even in there. We got some ice cream (it was ok) and I really didn't even want to buy fudge due to her stand off-ish attitude but I got a piece of fudge (nothing spectacular). Overall I would never go in there again considering I can buy blue bell ice cream & a Hershey's bar at a market with friendlier service. read more

Do not go here for fudge... My cousin and I both ordered 1/4 pound of fudge. I paid $6.61 and my cousin paid over $8!! When asked about the price difference the person behind the counter said sometimes the scale needs to be recalibrate but did not offer to weigh the fudge again!! We knew this was a Blue Ridge staple, and made sure to stop by on our recent visit. We went in on a Saturday evening around 6:00pm, and there were a few people already there. There isn't much to the inside of the shop, but there is seating outside with a TV looping a video about their family-owned business. A young girl was working the counter (not sure if she was a family member) and she gave us samples of several different types of fudge. The price is by the quarter pound, which is $5.99, with a full pound for $15.99. Looking back, I can't believe I paid that much and also that a pound of fudge amounted to such a small amount. The fudge was delicious. We got a caramel apple flavor, caramel chocolate (my favorite), tiger butter (think peanut butter and chocolate) and a dark chocolate walnut. Prices are outrageous for quality of fudge. Customer service is atrocious. Let me note that I do not mind paying a higher price for higher quality--even if the quality is not in the product itself but in the customer service. This was not the place. Upon leaving I felt hurt at the way I was treated. My husband and I were strolling along main street in Blue Ridge, having a lovely time when we decided to stop into Three Sisters Fudge. I looked at the fudge and decided I wanted ice cream because it was very hot outside this day. I asked if I could have a small taste of the salted caramel ice cream and she very abruptly said, " We don't sample the ice cream here!" Then, a little taken aback by the unprovoked rudeness, I hesitated and was not sure what to do. She then turned on her heel and went into the back room saying, "Let me know when you decide." Of course it left us with an ugly feeling so we did not even order anything and it kind of put a dark spot on the wonderful day we were having.
