A phenomenal tasting experience, so good I didn't want to write a review so I could gatekeep this place. The location was a bit tricky to find because my gps put me a little further up the street than where the entrance was. But once you get through the doors, you're transported to a beautiful Spanish style space full of charm and history. Our hostess was friendly and knowledgeable, her enthusiasm for the wines and food pairings made the time pass by so quickly that we ended up having to get kicked out when the tasting room closed and were late for our dinner reservation. We had the castenada rose, chards and pinots. The Castenada rose is a winner for any summer day. I enjoy chards and pinots but they're rarely my first choice unless the food calls for it. However, the chards and pinots here are so good that they would easily be some of the first bottles I go to.

Believe the hype! What a boutique experience -- we had a private host in a fantastically decorated room towards the back of the winery. The chairs were SO comfortable -- a very relaxing experience. Everyone in my party really enjoyed this winery. The wines here are beautifully crafted -- they specialize in chardonnay and pinot noir varietals. I didn't know what to expect here as I booked the reservation because I hadn't read any reviews of the business, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service, the character of the building, and the wines. I really enjoyed the separate high end stemware to compare the different vintages and vineyards. It really allows the guest to taste the differences between the different vineyards. Pours were of ample quantity! It is by appointment only, so I highly recommend planning accordingly. This is a gem of an establishment , I hope they continue to do well!

We had a little girls jaunt to Sonoma, and Three Sticks Wines was BY FAR our favorite spot on the trip. Three Sticks is owned by the same group as Kistler, but... incredible Chardonnays at 1/2 of the price of its sister. Our sommelier host Robert (?) was a doll, and even poured a little extra and gave some extra nibbles from some delicious local cheese makers. My only grumble about 3 sticks was I was three figures lighter in my wallet after all the wine club wine I bought!

The wine was spectacular and the Adobe is a perfect setting for wine tasting. We tried a couple glasses of chardonnay, two pinot noir, cab, rose and white rose, all were great... 5 stars. We got the wine and food pairing which was fun. They special made our food vegetarian which included a cauliflower salad, cheese bread puff, beet salad, stuffed radish, and hen of woods mushroom. The small bites were ok, and to be fair, I was already stuffed from lunch at Girl and the Fig. My boyfriend enjoyed the veggies, but I wanted more carbs and fat... 3.5 stars. Our wine sommelier was sweet and fun! She was knowledgable about the place and enjoyed talking about wine and wine country. I enoyed the tour of the grounds, she told us of the history of the Adobe and how it was an actual Mexican adobe from the 1800s. She guided us to see the art pieces and hand-painted murals. Pretty place! 5 stars for the tour! Three Sticks is a one minute walk from Girl and the Fig. I would reccomend eating at the Girl and the Fig and then do wine tasting at Three Sticks. We had a great experience and bought a bottle of rose to take home.

Came here on a company offsite and had the best experience! They do an amazing tour of the property (it's the oldest standing adobe house in California) and garden prior to the tasting. The host was super engaging and shared a lot of tasting knowledge. The wine is delicious and around $50-90/bottle if I recall correctly. Would recommend!

Rob was a great host for our Wine Tasting! The office building and grounds are beautiful and wines were delicious. We loved hearing about the history and culture of the building, the wines, and the company. Mahalo Price and Three Sticks 'Ohana!!!

They can't really advertise from the street, and I probably wouldn't have found it without Yelp! The wines are excellent and come with a great story. One detail I especially loved is that they age their wines in Hungarian oak, which gives them something a little different and special. Gwen, the tasting room manager, was fantastic. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and really took the time to tell us the story behind the wines and Obsidian. The tasting room has only been at this location for about two years, but it feels like one of those Sonoma spots you're glad you discovered. The space itself is small, modern, relaxed, and friendly. There's outdoor seating for beautiful Sonoma days, but if it's really hot, I recommend sitting inside and enjoying the AC. Definitely worth seeking out if you're around Sonoma Square. Great wine, great storytelling, and a wonderfully low-key experience.

We were first introduced to them back when they had their tasting room at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma. The setting there was incredibly welcoming--especially with our three young kids at the time--and between the atmosphere and the wines, we were hooked from the start. The wines are consistently outstanding. Their Lake County lineup really stands out, and the Volcanic Estate Cabernet has been a go-to in our house for years--it's always been reasonably priced and somehow overdelivers every single time we open a bottle. On the other end of the spectrum, the Half Mile is more of a special occasion wine for us, and it never disappoints. Winemaker Alex clearly knows what he's doing--his reds are fantastic across the board. The Cabernet, Petit Verdot, and Malbec from that volcanic Lake County fruit are bold, expressive, and incredibly well made. We've been wine club members for years now, which says a lot. Great wines, great people, and a place that's been part of our family's wine journey for a long time. Highly recommend.

They have a large fish pond and it's 25 cents for a cup of fish food to feed the turtles and koi. This is one of the most family friendly wineries I've seen. Many people bring their kids. They have corn holes too. Fancy and Pudding were the highlight! I reached out and felt like a Disney princess having one of them come to me for pets. The restrooms were very clean as well! It was fun browsing the store too. And of course the tasting and charcuterie board were a fantastic experience. I loved the cheeses and almonds they had. We had the option of deviating from the tasting menu. But everything we tasted was great! I think you can also bring your own snacks. It's a great winery experience. The tasting menu has light bites to complement the wines such as a charcuterie board, cheese plates, and chips. Carlo lets you know what goes well with the wine you're having. And for after tasting, a variety of coffees. The wines I tried were all delicious. I purchased 3 bottles. (Note: You can ask for a "dump bucket" but you don't need one because the wines are very good.) 1. Old Vine Rosé - So good and very popular that they have it on tap! 2. Whole Hog - A delicious Rhône! 3. Eleve Cabernet - drinks like a Bordeaux. When in Downtown Sonoma, please stop by and give them a try. It's a nice break from shopping or a good place to sit and chat with friends for the afternoon.
