Threes Brewing comes to my town!
    Greg F.

The opening of this outpost of Threes in Huntington is super exciting! Threes is one of my top 5 breweries in the world and I still have vivid memories of tasting brews in their Brooklyn location in 2016. Vliet pilsner made my top 3 beers of 2020. Anyway, this is great. They have the BEST SELECTION in the area of the BEST BREWS. I am talkin' the freshest new cans of IPA and pilsner goodness from not only their own brewery but my other faves Grimm, Aslin and Sand City. I cannot wait until the pandemic is past us as they will be then serving food and having bar tastings. Get your beers at Threes!

Finally got to stop by as soon as we entered we were given a very welcoming greeting! Cute place with some tables by the window and a bar area. They had a few of their beers on tap and lots of cans & bottles to buy to go. There is a small selection of canned snacks to go along with your drink if you want. I tried their Tempting fate and loved it! Refreshing and delicious. A great place and I will be back!

There are places you go to grab a drink, and then there are places you genuinely look forward to…read more Six Harbors Brewing Company, nestled in the heart of Huntington Village, firmly belongs in that second category -- and I say that as someone who has been there a dozen times and counting. Founded in May 2018 by Huntington residents Mark and Karen Heuwetter after three years of hard work and planning, Six Harbors holds the proud distinction of being Huntington Village's first and only micro-brewery. And from the moment you walk in, you understand why the community embraced it so enthusiastically. The vibe is nautical meets industrial -- casual but polished, comfortable and undeniably inviting. It feels less like a commercial establishment and more like a really cool friend's living room, which is entirely by design. Mark and Karen are hands-on owners who have a genuine gift for making every patron feel welcome. The beer is excellent. There's a solid lineup of year-round staples alongside rotating seasonal options, which means there's always something new to try. That variety keeps every visit feeling fresh -- you never quite know what's going to be on tap, and that's half the fun. The food menu is intentionally simple: personal pizzas, giant pretzels, and North Fork potato chips. But here's the thing -- you're welcome to bring outside food, which is a refreshingly customer-friendly policy that you don't see everywhere. Now, here's what truly sets Six Harbors apart, and I say this with full sincerity: the dogs. Yes, Six Harbors is dog-friendly -- well-behaved, leashed pups are welcome at all times. But the real stars of the show are Buddy, Barley, and Brandy, three gorgeous golden retrievers affectionately known as "The Brew Dogs." They belong to Mark and Karen, and they come to work every day. These three are among the sweetest, most gentle dogs you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. Petting them takes your visit from great to truly amazing! And it doesn't stop there. Mark and Karen go above and beyond to celebrate their four-legged community. Throughout the year, Six Harbors hosts Yappy Hours, dog meet-ups, a Halloween costume party, a December ugly sweater party, and even birthday celebrations for the Brew Dogs themselves. (Just recently, we had the pleasure of attending Barley's seventh birthday -- an event that can only be described as pure, unfiltered Cuteness Overload.) It's no surprise that Six Harbors and the Brew Dogs have been featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show, NBC News, CBS, Buzzfeed, and more. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast, a dog lover, or simply someone who appreciates a place with genuine warmth and character, Six Harbors Brewing Company is worth the trip. Highly, enthusiastically recommended!!

Even though there was a huge crowd, the bartenders kept up with the demand. I never waited more than 5 minutes for a beer and there were hundreds of people there. I didn't try the food truck because I desperately wanted to try their homemade pretzels. They were perfect. Hot, soft, and chewy; the mustard that came with them was excellent. I like that they are dog friendly. I would like it more if they were a little more kid friendly too. I guess we will stick to the very crowded days so my toddler doesn't stand out in the crowd. I worry in quiet days, he wouldn't be welcomed since he is deep into the twos. IYKYK.

A great spot to grab a bite to eat, or a night out on the town! For food you have to get The Golden Onion - a giant onion sliced and fried to perfection! We also really loved their Bronx Chicken Parm Sandwich made with vodka sauce and hot peppers on a garlic ciabatta. Their Bang Bang Shrimp were also delicious and you can't o wrong with their 8oz prime blend of chuck and brisket burgers! Their cocktails were tasty, balanced, and presented beautifully. You have to get their signature frozen espresso martini! We loved the rest of the drinks we got, truly can go wrong with any drinks here. We love it here and we know you will to! Come check them out! My usual choice of snacks are the mozerella triangles and corn dip but today I tried the popcorn chicken since it's the first time I've seen it on the menu. It was pretty good! I forgot to use the lemon but the herbs in the dish compliment the chicken really well. If you like tequila, the Tequila Drink is a must! I highly recommend this place.

I didn't order too much -- just the honey wings, bread pudding, and a cocktail. The wings were a little too big for my liking. I've always had issues with oversized winglets, but the flavor was still really good despite the size. The drink was very good. I had something called the "Smash Bros," which has bourbon, grapefruit, orange, lemon, and mint, garnished with mint leaves and an orange slice. Very tasty! The banana bread pudding wasn't bad at all, but I have to say I didn't really taste the bananas -- I tasted the chocolate chips more than anything. It was definitely a different take on banana pudding by adding chocolate chips. It wasn't bad, but I personally prefer the traditional version. Overall, the service was great and the ambiance was nice. There were lots of windows, and the restaurant being on the top floor gave it a really nice view. I would definitely come back and try more dishes.

The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?

The place is definitely divey inside, came in this past Saturday on St. Patrick's Day as we wanted to go to an Irish pub. Thought Katie Mc's was going to be bursting at the seams but around 130 in the afternoon, we were the only people at the bar and there was another couple having some lunch at a high top table. The bartender was nice enough but didn't mention anything about the place being cash only nor was there a sign that indicated it was cash only so we were a little annoyed when she gave us our total and wouldn't accepted the credit card. They gave us some chips at the bar and also some irish soda bread, which was a really nice though for the holiday. Didn't get a chance to look at their menu, not even sure they have a menu but people were eating food so they must have something. The back of this bar is a little sketchy to me, you walk past a creepy back room to get to the woman's bathroom, I don't know the place just really wasn't for me. They were decorated nicely for the holiday but it just wasn't a place I'd find myself spending a significant amount of time in.
