    Stained and dirty seat

Where DO I BEGIN!!! Don't make customers stand in line after they complete their registration and check in by phone. Make sure vehicles are clean and presentable for customers. Have employees working on weekend at your station and not making customers go to another companies station. I was told I would have to take the care to returns and get back in line to get another car or he could note the account. This information and pictures should have been noted. Customers need a place to upload this information. I wish I could give ZERO stars!!!

Dirty wheels on this tiny rental. I was so upset I didn't take a shot of how small the car was. I wish I had.

DO NOT RENT a car here. I thought this would be a reputable place for us to rent a car since we went through our credit card's reward program. I should have checked the reviews first. We rented a Jeep for our road trip through the reward program that was fully paid for. All we had to do was pick it up, or so I thought. After arriving to pick up our vehicle they let me know they did not have the car I reserved. They tried to give me a "similar" vehicle and told me that's their policy when you reserve a car. The vehicle was not only not similar, it was dirty. I walked back to the counter and told her there was no way I could accept that, and asked if anything could be done. The woman I got was very nice, and I was glad it was her because he coworker seemed horrible the way she was talking to customers. She tried to do what she could but said they could only give me a better car if I paid an upgrade fee. At first they offered me over a thousand dollar price tag, and I said no way so she finally found a great option that would cost me another $450. So even tho I had already spent all my points I still had to pay almost $500 just to get what I had reserved. (Similar) Upon returning the car they told me the price was only $337 being charged to my card, and I thought oh good! Maybe someone decided they over charged me after all. Nope, they billed me the difference and threatened to send me to collections over their own mistake. And I got billed for tolls by plate after I had returned the vehicle. Horrible, and I will never rent from this company again.

Thrifty charges an admin fee of $9.99 PER TOLL! I was heading back to Jacksonville and took a new highway that apparently had five tolls. Didn't think much about it because certainly the cost would be less than $5... it was $3.45. I have rented from other Jacksonville rental agencies and driven all throughout the toll roads in FL and never had been charged an admin fee like this before. Unbelievable! I will never rent from thrifty again if I have the choice.

After enduring hours of delays coming in from Chicago, I was expecting to have a similar experience while renting a car. I encountered Cary at the Thrifty front desk, and he was very pleasant and extremely accommodating when I had selected a vehicle way too small for me. He got me set up with a bigger vehicle and just his overall friendliness and bubbly personality made me forget about my day full of adventure.

I would give no stars if I could! From start to finish, we waited 2 hours to get our car on a Thursday afternoon. Completely unacceptable!!

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Corporate Needs to See This I am…read morebeyond disappointed with how Enterprise handled an elderly customer today. This needs the attention of Enterprise Corporate immediately. My 68-year-old friend is moving from Florida to Pennsylvania. He has a valid Florida driver's license and a confirmed return flight to Jacksonville for a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Before booking, we called Enterprise directly to confirm their debit card policy. We were clearly told that as long as he had a valid driver's license OR a return ticket, he could rent using a debit card. He shows up at the counter prepared -- and the counter agent, Whitney, tells him no. She says because he now has a "local driver's license," he must have a credit card. That is NOT what we were told over the phone. Not even close. He DOES have a credit card -- the chip isn't working. We politely asked if she could swipe it. She said no. We asked if she could manually enter it. She said no. No attempt to help. No attempt to problem-solve. No compassion. Just policy, policy, policy. When I tried to explain what we were told by Enterprise on the phone, Whitney cut me off and said, "Can I talk now?" The tone was rude and dismissive. I said I wasn't finished speaking. She then said, "I don't know what the lady told you but that's our policy," and abruptly said goodbye. When I told her she didn't have to be rude, she said "Sorry, goodbye," and handed him back the phone. That was it. Now a 68-year-old man doesn't have transportation to get from Jacksonville to Saint Augustine for a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Enterprise advertises customer service. Enterprise advertises flexibility. Enterprise advertises caring about people. That was not the experience today. If your debit card policy depends on what mood the counter agent is in, that's a serious problem. If your corporate policy is different from what your phone representatives are telling customers, that's an even bigger problem. This isn't about a rental car. It's about basic customer service and respect -- especially toward elderly customers who are simply trying to make a medical appointment. Enterprise Corporate, you need to review: * Your debit card policy * Your training on handling elderly customers * And the professionalism of your staff, specifically Whitney This experience was frustrating, unnecessary, and unacceptable. Do better. Left my friend stranded 2/26/26

I ordered a mid sized car. Since it was not quite ready, they offered me a black convertible Ford Mustang. Since they twisted my arm all the way around my back, I took it immediately. I thoroughly enjoyed my whip and I am a very happy camper. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This rental from Budget was pretty uneventful, which is what you're looking for in a car rental…read more They had a few cars to choose from and I ended up with a Mazda CX-50 hybrid which was fine and I had no issues with the car. They did annoyingly scam me by charging me for 1/4 tank of fuel even though the needle was barely below full and at most needed a gallon and probably less. I don't usually rent from them but if did so this time since they were the cheapest option. The fuel charge scam is annoying but I'll rent from here again if the price is right.

I had a work trip to Jacksonville & arrived at the airport to pick up my rental. Since I made the reservation within 24 hours of arrival, I was informed that I needed to physically go inside the airport to sign the contract. Thankfully, the line was short and I was able to head back outside pretty quickly to retrieve my vehicle. I located my rental, a Dodge Durango, loaded up my belongings, and got inside ready to head out. Unfortunately, the main screen was completely black and wouldn't turn on. I tried troubleshooting it myself, but nothing worked. I walked back to the counter and was assisted by Lachele. I explained the situation, and she mentioned the Durango was brand new and had just come in, so there shouldn't have been any issues. She came out and tried everything I had already attempted, but the screen still wouldn't power on. She then remembered that sometimes new vehicles can be in "ship mode." We quickly looked it up, followed the instructions, and thankfully the screen came on. I really want to give a shoutout to Lachele for her patience, professionalism, and willingness to step in and figure it out instead of brushing it off. She stayed calm, worked through the issue with me, and made sure I was taken care of before sending me on my way. Great customer service goes a long way, and she definitely delivered!
