When I brought my car in, I talked to an employee (not sure if it was the owner) who was also really nice and asked me if I was doing this for routine maintenance. I told him I'd recently gotten a brake fluid exchange done at Midas, but at my last oil change at Oil Changers, I was told the brake fluid was "very low." Thinking perhaps Midas shorted me on the brake fluid, I decided to take it to Gateway for a proper brake fluid change. We went out to my car where he checked the brake fluid, saw it was a little low but not too bad, tested it to make sure it was fresh, and told me he would top it off for free. I thanked him, told him I'd come here for mechanic work from now on, and went on my merry way. Though no service was actually performed, I came away from the experience knowing the people here are friendly and honest, and that's enough for me to come back again next time!

The Cummins diesel oil filter can be tricky, you can only access the filter through the passenger-side fender well. On these trucks, you really have to know what you're doing, right front tire has to be removed to properly access the fender-well opening and extract the oil filter. They handled the entire diesel oil change perfectly. Not a single drop of oil was left on my vehicle, and they also completed the safety checks, including my brakes and other important service items.
