Also when I got to the room I could see someone's gauze with blood on the floor. The care here did not help me at all. I had Covid and something wrong with my throat and they could not say what it was. All they gave was cough medicine which aggregated my throat more and they prescribed allergy pills for my throat. I could barely swallow. I thought that was a slap in the face. I will not come back here for "care".

After a few days when I changed the bandages, I noticed his leg didn't look right. I looked up urgent care and found this clinic. Boy I am so I glad I did. His leg had gotten infected and they knew exactly what to do. The staff has taken excellent care of his wounds, cleaning and disinfecting daily and I am happy to say that after their exceptional wound care, he is now infection free and his wounds are healing nicely. And a big plus is the staff is so caring! They put my son at ease when he was worried and scared of what might happen. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has a need!

I called into BeWell thinking it was a normal urgent care facility, but turns out it wasn't - it was better! Not only were they the cheapest option, but it was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a medical facility. I spoke with Herman on the phone, and even though they were booked for the day, I could tell he heard the discomfort in my voice and went the extra mile to figure out a slot for me to come in. The sign up and check in processes were high tech, quick, and smooth - using an iPad rather than the old pen and paper method. My procedure was done by Herman and supervised by Lucy, and throughout the entire process, both of them were so gentle - constantly asking how I was feeling, and were extremely thorough. I typically feel like I'm just a number and being rushed at other facility, but here, I felt they actually cared about my wellbeing... I suppose it fits their name (BeWell!). I have nothing by high praises for this establishment, and hope that many others could experience the high quality services they offer. Thank you both, Herman and Lucy, so so much for that day. I knew they had to verify info when i check in anyways. waiting time at the appointment was just a few mins. Staff was overall friendly. I had a really hard time communicating with the assistant when I'm in the room, pre-doctor. She had a mask on, and she spoke softly, and stood behind me to do the intake. I turned around slightly to hear her better but it wasn't much better. We did a lot of back and forth with the same questions she asked me, mostly her having to ask the questions again. This clinic caught my eye since it was close and the reviews were great. I called and confirmed they took my HMO card before scheduling a same day appointment. The person on the phone was nice and provided all the information i needed and confirmed my insurance will cover it free. I went to the facility and they greeted me walking in and sign in was a breeze. I did had to fill out a first time patient form but i skipped the SSN and explained to her since i have insurance i shouldn't require it so she helped me skip that and once i was done; i waited like 5 minutes and i was let in by a girl named Leslie who gave me my covid shot. In another 3 minutes then i was out. She was very friendly and helpful. I was happy with my visit and plan to come back whenever i need any medical needs from them!

Dr. Stephen Lee has horrible bedside manners! I had one appointment with him and he's the reason, I…read moream going to a totally different place. My first appointment was with the female NP, she did my ultrasound for 2 minutes & told me she didn't see a baby in the sac and rescheduled me for another appointment in 2 weeks. Mind you, there ultrasound machine is so OLD & prints out black pictures. The very next week, I go to a totally different clinic with a state of the art ultrasound. The midwife at that clinic took her time and did my ultrasound for 20 mins. She found 2 sacs, one with a baby & one without. I go back to Beverly Care and they have me see Dr.Lee since the female is not available. Dr.Lee is condescending & rude. He didn't take his time with the ultrasound, he didn't look for a second sac. He just told me it's only one baby and printed me out a super black picture. He even had the nerve to joke and ask me & my boyfriend have we made a decision on keeping our baby & it was not in a sincere genuine way. We obviously are keeping our baby or else we wouldnt be there, we would be at Planned Parenthood. I'm switching doctors as soon as I can.

I walked…read morein today (its a Monday today) at around 11am and there were only like 3 people in there with me (only 1 when I walked in then 2 or 3 more while i was waiting). I was scared it wouldnt be the same anymore for me when I switched out insurances to my EPO insurance with my job, but when I called they easily told me they accepted it without even having to run anything and when I got there the wait was extremely fast, the process was extremely simple, the place was extremely clean and with nice aesthetics, and Jessica the NP I saw this time prescribed me exactly what I hoped for and needed (she didnt just give me basic amoxicillin, she went above and beyond prescription-wise to cover whatever possible current bacterial sickness it was i have (bad cough for over a month now) by going a step above and prescribing augmentin and im extremely happy with that decision because 1) she actually looked at my history and asked me what autoimmune condition I have and when I told her one of them is sjrogens (yes I have multiple lifelong autoimmune conditions now induced from prior years of intense stress, I came out with several long term conditions that affect me ever since some intense periods of stress for several years from like 2016 and onwards) she said the augmentin would be less drying for me so I really appreciate that she looked at all angles and initiated taking this into consideration, and 2) it will cover much more strains than pure amoxicillin which will prevent me from taking an antibiotic that may not kill what I have and we all know that taking antibiotics that wont do what it needs to do causes a whole other bunch of unnecessary problems, so im glad she wasnt stingy/playing it too safe or basic with the prescription like how alot of other providers may be at times) and I quickly left with exactly what I needed. They also have Xray machines there in case you need any diagnostics like that and the only ones they dont do is XR skull ot XR abdomen. My copay only ended up being $15 and im so so so freaking glad I have a place i can still go to now for a great urgent care experience if I ever need to even after the stress of switching out of my insurance to another one, so im super relieved and appreciate Advanced Urgent Care of Pasadena so much. The girl that picked up the phone was super sweet (i love that she would call me Hun hahah and she was so helpful and nice, she also would initiate giving me important info that would prevent potential headache that could be avoided too like telling me that they would close earlier today at 3 because of memorial day which i appreciate), the guy at the front was also super nice, Oscar the XR tech who took my vitals was nice, and so was the other sweetheart who also escorted me out of the room (another nice girl, I think she had glasses on). I didn't even have to do anything for checkout. It was the fastest visit ever and I got 100% what I needed. When I walked out it was only like noon sharp but I will say that it got way busier between the time that I walked in at 11am till when I walked out at noon. The waiting room was about at least half full when I left, so im guessing maybe like 6+ people, but still looked quite manageable and like i said the place is so nice the wait just doesnt FEEL long even if it does end up being a little longer. They are fast, efficient, clean, the providers give you what you need, and most of all, they easily have accepted all my insurances even after switching to EPO. I got a lab referral, I kept getting asked if I wanted a prescription, I gave in after multiple asks. Couldn't hurt to have a current medication if things get too bad, but it would've also been nice to not been asked again after the first no. I got a call a few days later but they were vague about the results being around my lab or my xray. Thankfully I had the email about the xray and the Quest app for my results.
