I'm in a very sensitive situation, I had limited options, have already been to the ER and the ER are the ones who referred me to ideal option, as an option to get a taper. I called and explained my whole situation and the people I talked to with this establishment made it seem like they totally work with what I was going through. They were happy to write down all my info and take my money. Then I get to my video appointment and the lady was not only not sympathetic, she was blunt and rude and told me she can't do anything because I wasn't "addicted" even though I'm going through withdrawals (I don't see the difference) and told me it was an ER situation even though that's where I came from. I never cry and I've done nothing but cry today. Worst experience I've ever had. I Also drove 3 1/2 hours after talking to everybody and confirming I would have care. It's Friday I could've had other options but now everyone is closed. I have 3 days of medication left and now I will probably have to go to the ER. She said they don't prescribe because benzo withdrawals are dangerous. I had a protocol mapped out and an ER visit to show I was stable. Now I will run out of medication and that is what's dangerous. Do not use this place.

This was…read moregenuinely one of the most frightening and traumatic healthcare experiences I have ever had, and I am sharing it because I would never want another patient or family to experience what I did. I was brought to this emergency department by ambulance because I was extremely sick and weak. I arrived on a gurney and was brought through the ER, only to then be taken back out to the front waiting area. I was told to get off the gurney and stand in line because there was no room, despite the fact that I was struggling to even stand. Being that sick, arriving by ambulance, and then being expected to stand in line was frightening and made me feel incredibly vulnerable. The entire department appeared severely overwhelmed. While I was there, I witnessed a visibly ill patient lying on the floor near the restroom doors vomiting what appeared to be blood because the restrooms were occupied. I do not know her circumstances or how long she had been there, and I do not want to make assumptions about her medical care. However, witnessing someone in that condition in a public area raised serious concerns for me about patient safety, dignity, and hygiene. I also personally witnessed multiple patients who were in pain become frustrated enough with the wait that they signed releases and left the emergency department to seek care at a nearby urgent care instead. I think it is important to mention that I worked in healthcare for nearly 15 years. I understand that emergency departments become overcrowded, resources can be stretched thin, and patients must be triaged according to medical urgency. I also understand that arriving by ambulance does not automatically mean someone should receive treatment before a more critically ill patient. That is not my complaint. Even with my healthcare background and understanding of how busy emergency departments can become, I have never personally witnessed operations like what I experienced that day. That is what made this so alarming. What concerns me most is the possibility of a patient with a truly time-sensitive medical emergency being overlooked or not addressed appropriately when the department is operating under conditions like these. My concern goes far beyond my own wait or discomfort. I left genuinely fearful about whether seriously ill patients were being adequately assessed, monitored, and cared for. I am not sharing this to be vindictive or to attack individual healthcare workers. I am sharing it because the experience was genuinely frightening, and I believe what I witnessed deserves to be taken seriously. I sincerely hope the hospital reviews these conditions and addresses whatever staffing, capacity, communication, or operational issues contributed to them. No patient seeking emergency medical care should leave feeling the way I did, and I would never want another person or family to go through this experience.

We were told when to sleep and eat. When you try to ask a question the answer was NO before they even knew what the question was about. I had a roommate that slept all day due to detoxing and watched tv all night. They were going to give me ear plugs and mask so that I would not be disturbed. Phone calls are allowed on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday. I was having an emotional moment on Wednesday night and was allowed to call my husband. The call lasted 3 minutes. Because of this call my Thursday call was taken away. I felt like and was treated like I was there as a punishment. The pictures on the website are inaccurate. The ping pong table you see can only be used during smoking time. Which I don't smoke. The police had to be called because a patient went on a rampage. We were made to stay in our rooms that do not lock. I was afraid for my life. When I decided to leave they were all nice to me trying to convince me to stay. When I would not give in they I was told that my insurance would not pay for the week I was there and that no other therapist would ever take me. The. They packed my things and made me wait in the outside hall for an uber ride since they would not take me to the airport where I had to wait 41/2 hours for my flight.

This is definitely a drug and alcohol treatment center and they treat those who were there for addiction. Much better than they do those that are there for trauma. Because I actually asked if they would allow me to watch shows on TV with drugs and alcohol and was informed. "It would depend what it is". If you were seeking addiction treatment then maybe this place is for you. But if you are not seeking addiction treatment, and only seeking trauma care I definitely do not recommend this place. Sadly this country fails when it comes to mental healthcare.
