The ambiance is also bright and lively - they have really interesting things to observe while you sit and wait, and these gorgeous houseplants (I'm a plant geek) all over the place. Sometimes you have to wait, but you cant put a timeline on greatness. Manny will take on issues that other stylists may shy away from. Bad cut? Brittle texture? Too much color or the wrong shade? Since this owners prices increased and was giving instructions to a junior stylist the last time I received services, even though I was paying a higher price for services from the owner ( master stylist ), I have found another salon which immediately returns both phone calls and emails and does an excellent job that I've gotten many many compliments. The owner of the salon I have found does not allow any junior stylist to work on my hair since I pay a higher price.

She chatted most, but we chatted. However, two weeks later, two months later and about ten times after that she absolutely refused to see me. She was always "busy" "booked solid" "on vacation" some excuse. Last time I tried, I wanted to try just for kicks and asked for a month out and told her I was flexible with whatever worked for her and she said she wasn't available. Just be upfront. Don't give people the run around. It was very clear she did not want me as a client and here is why I think that is... when I had my blow out with her she shared with me that one the reasons she left a bigger salon was so she can pick her clientele to her liking. I mean I guess that's fair but I did nothing to this girl. I was kind, I listened to her talk about her personal life, her tv shows, everything under the sun. Pretty offended and so just be aware, if you book with her, and she doesn't like you for whatever reason, she will not see you moving forward.
