Andre and his team are absolutely wonderful! I called a few days ahead of my move to make an appointment, and he fit me in, no problem. The day of the haul, he alerted me that he was ready a couple of hours before the time we scheduled, and I told him I needed another hour to get ready, so go have lunch and check in later? An hour later, we texted and said I am ready, and he came right over! (He actually is not far from me.) After 8 - 9 years in the same place, the longest I have ever lived in 1 place in my life (I have moved 25+ times in my life if not more), I was moving out and wanting to get rid of a lot of old stuff. Queen size sofa bed and matching ottoman, 4 poster queen size wood bed frame, pillow top mattress and box spring, heavy glass-top desk, 2 6' or 7' enclosed book cases/curio cabinets, 4 chairs, glass coffee table, 2 4ft high open book shelves, 6 ft folding table, 3 metal lawn furniture chairs and table, wood dresser, bamboo hall table, another 5 foot table, wood night table, about 7 book box sized boxes, 10-12 black garbage bags of soft goods/misc. junk, a water cooler with 2 5 gallon bottles of water, a microwave, and a bunch of odds and ends. Whew, would have taken me forever to disposition that accumulated stuff. Plus my back! Ugh! He and his associate fit it all into 1 truck, in under 90 minutes, from a second story, no elevator unit, in a big complex. Suweet! While they were moving stuff, I thought I heard Brazilian Portuguese as they communicated the tight and heavy moves. I asked them, are you Brasiliero? They said Si! They said they were from Sao Paolo! And I said I have been there 2 - 3 times. They checked with me a couple of times to make sure they were taking the right things, not the wrong things, then happily took them away. I kept offering them more to take, because it was so easy, lol! And they happily obliged. I was really pleased with their efficient, friendly, timely and affordable work, with some heavy and awkward items to haul out. They did it all with a smile, and a Samba in their heart! Makes me want to go eat Churrascaria barbeque or a Feijoada stew, and sip a Caipirinha and chill out with some classic old Bosa Nova melodies from Antonio Carlos Jobim sung by Joao Gilberto. I had an old rug on the side of our house. Too large for our big trash days and due to the months of rain it became gross and started growing mushrooms on it! I heard about this family owned business from someone in town so I sent them a message on Yelp. Their response time was very quick and they took my rug and a few other items the very next day. They don't overcharge or have hidden fees. The guys who came were incredibly polite and kind. I CLEARLY specified that I had a mattress and a box spring, showed them the text message where they agreed to the pricing, yet they wanted to charge an additional $60 over the quote. Wow, these guys are great. I had three desks, a wooden coffee table, a kitchen table, a couple wooden book shelves and a double barcalounger love seat that I needed to get to the dump.
