I can't recommend these guys. I ordered a kit in mid June with a "5-14 day delay" posted on their sight due to high demand and volume. Fair enough. I completely understand.. 18 business days later I still have no tracking number or communication so I email them. No response but about a week later I get an email with a tracking number, but it's just assigned tracking. USP doesn't take possession of the package until about a week later. Then I get an email stating that they have sent me a tracking number. By now their website states that it's a "14-25 days" delay. Okay, I still kinda get it but it doesn't explain the lack of communication on a $400 order. Six weeks after I ordered my kit it finally shows up!...... and the upper is completely the wrong caliber. Seriously? I wait a month and a half and you screwed my order up? I called to resolve it and they want pictures. Fine. I send pictures. In that email I asked if they even had the correct upper in stock. No response to that. I emailed back an hour or so later after sending the initial email with pics with a better solution for all: How about I keep this wrong upper and just buy a new upper of the correct caliber. I don't have to wait another month or so on shipping, them getting their crap together, etc. Nothing. No response to that either. The next day I get an email with a UPS return label. I'm not waiting on them. I'm keeping the wrong upper and I bought the correct caliber (and better quality) upper locally the next day. I'm not going to even email and let them know that I won't be sending the wrong upper back. They can read about it here. It's more courtesy than they granted me. I'm giving two stars because at least I received something. Taking three away because lack of communication and incompetency on fulfilling the order. read more

Ok. After the entire process played out, I am going to up the stars. This is basically a failure of the customer service activity. The website warned of a 10-14 day lead time, which could easily be/was missed. The tracking was horrible but it did arrive in the appropriate time... Save your keystrokes. Don't waste your time putting anything in the comment section of your order because, even though they are saying they have 14 days to ship, special instructions still will be ignored... Pretty much, a super attractive budget build price with horrible customer service. Just order and wait the 21 days like it's coming from China. read more

Extremely terrible customer service. Placed an order on 4/27/2022. Forgot an items and reached out on 4/28/2022 via email. Was told they cannot add or modify orders due to high volume.....even though it was placed 12 hours prior. Basically, they wanted me to place a separate order and charge me $27 in shipping instead of combining it with my existing order. I requested to cancel my entire order and now they are charging a 4% refund fee. Please avoid this company. Use another vendor....any vendor. read more

I purchased a gun kit June 22nd and after a month an a half of getting robo emails back to my questions they sent me part of my order. I immediately reached out and got a response of " will will send you your parts." I have emailed about 20 times since then and zero response. They don't answer their phone and they don't reply by email anymore. I just want what I paid for. I even emailed them a picture of the package that I ordered and what parts were not delivered. I ordered some stuff from them online (and I ordered an indicated back ordered set). It took a couple of weeks to get here, but that was expected. When it did get here, the parts they machined were awesome and well worth it! All of the cuts are clean and the finish coating is smooth and done very well. The whole polymer 80 kit was the least expensive I could find anywhere online or locally for a COMPLETE kit. I even called them a couple of times to ask some questions, and they answered right away and provided the information I needed. I have known a couple of others that purchased from them in the past and had the same experience as I did. Will buy from them again, and have referred friends based on my experience. read more

I Placed an order from them over two weeks ago. It was a full ar15 kit. It finally arrived last Monday. days ago. They sent me the wrong butt stock than the one on display in the kit. What's worse is that neither the lower or upper was in the box at all. The upper and lower are both listed as something that is included with this full rifle kit. I have emailed them and called them every day so far. I also used the contact us form on their Web site. They dont' answer emails and they have not once picked up thier phone at all. THIEVES!!: A day after I placed my order with this company, they sent me a form to fill out and wanted photo copies of my drivers license, credit cards, and additional personal information emailed to them in order to "prevent fraud". This seemed like fraud to me so I requested they cancel my order. After requesting the cancellation and them agreeing to it, they still charged my credit card, even though they said they couldn't do so until they received all of the requested personal information. They flat out stole my money. I have had to file a dispute with my credit card company and have also filed a complaint the the Florida Attorney Generals office. Interestingly, I received a refund email for both orders within a couple of hours of filing my complaint with the Attorney General's office. Coincidence? I don't think so. Unfortunately, the email is as far as they have gone. I still have not received a refund on my credit cards. read more

I am very disappointed in the 1911 frame sold by Thunder Guns. When I cut my rails I found that the center was off by .040". You could see the difference between the two sides. When I contacted them I was told that their supplier said it wouldn't make a difference to the gun. I guess they have never built a 1911 that worked well. I could not believe their response. I took a class taught by Bob Marvel and he was concerned about thousandths of an inch, to be off by 40 thousandths is unbelieveable. Beware of this company, they are only concerned about your money not a quality product. I will never buy nor recommend their products. read more

I placed my order on December 6, 2020 it is now January 4th, 2021 and they still have not made any progress on my order. I just got off the phone with Pam, an employee at ThunderTactical, super nice she sounded stressed out but she was super unhelpful. I do not recommend placing an order with these guys unless you are absolutely sure you can wait a month (even though their site claims a 2 week waiting period.... ITS A LIE). I finally got ahold of them I have left countless messages but even though I made contact Pam was unable to help me at all besides make me feel like I am getting robbed. I first asked her if there was any update, she said no, then I asked if I could modify my order over the phone, again no, then I wanted to cancel my order and she told me that I had to go through the website which didn't make any sense because I was clearly on the phone with her and if she wasnt able to cancel it when she looked it up then I wonder what she does all day.... why is she even an employee? The prices are not worth it there are plenty of other 2A supporting websites that offer similar deals. I regret ever spending money here because when I asked to cancel my order she told me that there would be a 4% fee to cancel which on the BLATANT LIE OF A WEBSITE states that if my order has not been processed yet that there would be no fee. I am very very disappointed with Thunder Tactical. I hope they get raided by the ATF. What really really upset me was that I asked if I could pay extra to have my order expedited and I was again met with a no which I cannot in my right mind as a small business owner understand. I would never conduct business the way they do and I guess they recently lost two employees in shipping and receiving which I can totally understand because they must treat their employees like garbage is it takes them over two weeks to fulfill an online order. Take my advice and go support Arms Unlimited or Durkin Tactical or EP Armory or PSA or MDX Arms. This is by FAR the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I order a complete build kit and following the instructions I drilled the holes with the frame inside the jig. Once I opened the jig I noticed the frame had a large crack on the under part of where the barrel would be. But because "I" drilled three holes, AND DEMITRI SAYS HE CANT BE SURE I DIDNT BREAK IT BY DRILLING 3 tiny holes inches away from where the crack is. That guy dimitri is the worst "manager" I have ever seen. He told me because I drilled the holes (but let me remind you that you do not remove the frame from the jig until you drill the holes) that he cannot replace my cracked frame because it's against company policy to give free hand outs. I am a honorable served military veteran with two tours to Iraq under my belt not to mention a Purple Heart. That so called manager said I'm looking for a hand out. I allready spent $581 in one transaction with this company just to get treated like I'm looking for a handout. I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure dimitri loses his job because he needs to work at a Taco Bell. read more
