There are vegetables (garlic, corn, tomatoes, salads) and fruit (apples, pears, berries) for sale and they are all neatly placed in covered wood bins. There is a money slot at the near end of the farm building into which you place your bills and coins.. Right next to the money-slot is a very friendly, happy pet-able medium pig (fun for kids). The sign is about the median half-way point between the actual farm machinery and the road side stand. If you pass the 'Welcome' sign still just make a left onto the property and make a turn! When I came here in the Spring I bough some onions, garlic and peppers. All were delicious and did not taste like evil pesticides or chemicals. On hot days the stands are always covered by a wood awning, and even in the rain: come and make some kitchen cooking purchases to help a small farmer in the lower Hudson Valley out! I was part of a bridal party that recently had a wedding at this venue. The venue is wonderful and…read morescenic, the food is decent but the service is absolutely terrible. Weddings are stressful, this venue went out of its way to add to that stress. The wedding coordinator Christie was absent for the entire preparation of the ceremony with the exception of stopping in to make sure the bride had alcoholic beverages (the least of anyone's concerns). The bridal party was left to figure it out for them selves. The groomsmen had absolutely no guidance whatsoever. Christie emerged from the abyss at the last second to make it look like she was doing something only to disappear again shortly afterwards. We were told it was the first wedding she coordinated which makes sense as she appeared to be a hostess who was promoted at last second to get Steve out of a jam. Christie fully disappeared shortly after everyone came in from the reception never to be seen again. Part of the package included a room for the groom and groomsmen to get ready in. The venue removed this accommodation (without removing cost). We were forced to find an Air BNB to get ready in prior to arriving to the venue. Guests were not properly directed and were left to wander into the ceremony aimlessly. Vendors were denied water in violation of the Geneva Convention. The venue repeatedly told the DJ to turn down the music which was well within noise ordinance, lying about people who were asking for it to be turned down. The husband and bride were never asked nor informed about this issue. The DJ ended up coordinating a fair amount of the events himself and was the only reason this wedding didn't turn into a riot. Steve was no where to be found the entire time (most likely counting out the $43,000 he was paid for this event.) We did catch his scowling at us as we packed everything up through the window as if we had done something wrong. All of this would have been forgivable had the cows that were promised been present for the photos and ceremony. P.S. if someone in your bridal is pregnant and asks for crackers while getting ready make sure you pay extra for that otherwise they'll give you an attitude about it when they say no.

I was on the quest of raw milk, and found this amazing farm. It's located at the end of a long…read moreroad, with plenty of parking space. There are two stores, one that keeps the dairy products in fridges, and the other one is smaller, cuter and sells more non-perishable products like soaps, lotions, candles, etc. This store also sells fresh frozen grass-fed meats. Do not expect a big selection, but good enough to pick up some turkey, chicken or Italian sausages. The lady/receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She asked if I needed any help, and I told her I had never tried raw milk but wanted to purchase some. This is when she guided us to the original store, and showed us around. Mainly, the fridges are full of pre-ordered raw milk. All labeled and not to taken! She showed me the different sizes and gave us a small sample. I loved it and it didn't make me sick like regular pasteurized milk. I asked her if she can just sell me a small half liter bottle. She found a lovely glass container and she poured some in. You will find fresh eggs(from other farms not theirs) butter, kefir and yogurt. After we paid, we found ourselves entertained by the calves and goats outside the farm. There's a section where children can play with hay and these animals. The calves were inside crates. If you find yourself driving up north, do yourself a favor and stop here and pick up some goodies.
