I'll start this off by mentioning that I have gotten a resonator delete from here before a few years ago. Great customer service, quick, and a really good price. ($40 and it took maybe 15-20 minutes) I came back wanting to get my stock resonator put back on. They quoted me $100. I told them that the last time I was here I got it removed for $40 and was surprised at the price jump. They said they could do it for $80, I wasn't super bothered and agreed on the price. I made sure to ask to see if lifting my car would be an issue since its pretty low. They said it'd be no problem. (there were two of them working on my car) I watched them move the arms to put them under each of the cars jack points and saw some contact issues on the rear drivers side jack point. (come contact with my side skirt) They tried lifting the car a little bit by the fender just to get the arm underneath the car. They were able to, but there was still a little of contact with the arm of the lift and the sideskirt. They attempted to lift the car and they heard a noise from the sideskirt and then put the car back down. There was some audible conversation before they got a jack to lift up the rear and put the lift arms underneath in a way that wouldn't touch the side skirt. (I have video footage on my dash cam of their conversation) I watched the whole thing happen. As usual, they made quick work to remove the exhaust piping and weld back the stock resonator. And when they brought the car back down I pointed out that they had damaged my car and one of the people that were working on my car looked at it and said it was nothing. There was a different person waiting inside for me to go pay, and when he noticed that I was still outside looking at the car he came out. I told him that they damaged my car and he also looked at it and brushed it off. I really just wanted someone to take accountibility for what had happened. But instead, I'm getting yelled at saying I'm going to pay for the work right now, to which I responded, "I never said I wasn't going to pay for it, but what are you going to do about the damage to my car?" He continued to say how they do this work everyday and they did not damage my car. I stated that I saw the whole thing happen and that I also have video recording on my car. He then said we also have video survailance here too. I then said that the the video survailance will show that they damaged my car. I don't understand how he can say they didn't damage my car when he wasn't there when they were working on my car. He spoke to me very rudely and unprofessionally while the whole time I spoke in a calm tone. I was really frustrated, but did not see this going anywhere as the guy was essentially gaslighting me by telling me they did not damage my car. I reluctantly paid the $80 and left. I plan on pursing legal action and getting an estimate from a professional, as this damage could cost at least a couple hundred dollars. read more

This is definitely a go to spot for exhaust work, tell them what you want done and they'll do it at a reasonable price and the correct way. I Recently stopped by for my Valvetronic Exhaust, for some reason the clamps wouldn't tighten down to fully secure the exhaust in place causing the rear muffler portion to be misaligned and loose. I originally asked for it to be welded cuz I was done adjusting it but these guys went through and fully examined the exhaust discovered the issue and adjusted it to align properly with out having to weld a thing. There is a reason they have been in business since 1956! Brought daughters jeep to get an estimate but was leaning having the work done here anyways. She had a hole in the tailpipe which was sagging her exhaust slightly and I wanted to get it done for her before it fell of with a hit to the ground. I got the quote and decided why run down to the other shop for a quote so I just got it done here. The price I thought was very good and was told it would be about an hour to get started. Well within an hour I was in and on the road with a great repair to her exhaust. One guy I spoke to while waiting for my car said he had been quoted about $300 more for the same "fix" at another shop for his car. Saw that these guys were only a few minutes away from a walk, so decided to bring my Challenger 2010 SE V6 into their shop. The mechanic I was helped by was very kind and asked me what type of job I was looking to do with my car. I'm a newbie to cars so I just told him I want a deep growl from the exhaust-- recommended me the FlowMaster Super 44's, extension of the exhaust, as well as riddance of the old. We also got a new exhaust tip to add some flare. The price was reasonable and was taken aback when it was only $380, coming in expecting to pay A LOT more. While my car was in the body shop, I had them install a Gibson axle back exhaust on my 2017 Ford Explorer. The problem was that it was not a true "bolt on" and needed to be welded on as one of the clamps was not very secure. The day that I picked up my car from the body shop, I called my mechanic in Bonita and they recommended Thunderbird Muffler Shop. Updating to a new review, so I noticed the original 2 guys who've been here over the years are not here anymore. I don't know where they went, but I hope they're doing well. The new guy in charge, I think his name is Rene? Really courteous and professional in his line of work. The shop now looks new with new banners and ads posted all over. I noticed they have a new lift in the back aside from the 3 spaces they have on their dugout bays. So far it was only 2 guys including Rene himself. They worked on 2 vehicles before attending to mine. Teamwork at its finest made their service fast and tedious. I recently installed a new catback exhaust on my 04 STI but my flange was leaking. Rene welded an extension to my cat-converter and gave me a new graphite gasket, new bolts, and on top---the good customer service. Literally customer service, it was humid as hell in national city and he offered myself and another customer bottled waters at no expense.....Clean job, no more exhaust leak(and my gosh it was a big one!) Anyway I did only pay less than $90 for everything parts and labor. The estimate was worth job. The welds looked professional as if my catalytic converter came out the box like that.
