Amazing place! Took my RS3 here after it started leaking, paid $100 for the diagnosis to figure out what was going on but then they subtracted it from the overall cost when they fixed it. None of the shops I've been to in the past have done this and it was super refreshing and nice to see! I'm not so sure about some of these reviews here regarding BST Motorsports Chula Vista. My experience here has been nothing but PHENOMENAL! I came to this business back on 9/30/2022 to get a quote and some options to upgrade my 2008 Toyota Tundra to a 3+ inch lift. Eric spent time explaining some of the little nuances, that I didn't know about, when it comes to lifting especially with just a leveled type of lift. By the time I initially left the store I had already decided to go with the Bilstein package: 6112 coilover lift kit, Upper Control Arms (UCA), 5160 reservoirs in the rear. So, nothing too crazy and a relatively cost-effective 3+ inch/leveled lift. I could have gone with a King or Icon suspension package and spent twice the amount, but why? I'm not trying to offroad or go "Baja" in my Tundra, I just want a bit of an aggressive stance and to eventually throw on 35x12.50 tires on it (I currently have 33x11.5). So, thanks Eric for providing 3 different lift options! Because of the back order on this Bilstein package, I did have to wait a minute for parts to come in. Finally, on 11/4/2022 I got the lift work done and I am really happy with the work that the BST Motorsports Chula Vista Team did. The ride and feel of the suspension is great...it's just so choice! Attached are some pics but it does no justice: I was sandwiched between a couple of vehicles at the BST store so it is what it is. All that to say, MANY THANKS BST-M Chula Vista Team for hooking it up and for the awesome customer service! So, if you haven't figured it out yet people, yea I highly recommend this place if you need suspension work done. read more

Do not bring your car here if you want it done correctly. I brought my Audi here several months back to install a set of KW Coilovers, two hours after I drop off my car they call me to say that I had a faulty part and said the strut broke while they were installing it. What they did was airgun everything on the car until it broke. After I said just give me the car back they installed the right side incorrectly, making all these clunking sounds. 2 weeks after I took my car to professional and they said several of the suspension bolts were bent from all the force of the air tools. They also overtightened the top bolts on the suspension which stripped the threads. Everything had to be rethreaded and sleeved. If you value your car take it somewhere else. This place is a joke. read more

If it were possible I'd give them 0 stars! This place is super shady and very sloppy/lazy with their work. My bf took in his truck for a simple upgrade and my called 4 times with different list of "new issues" his bill ended up being 4 times more than originally quoted. Once he picked up his truck, one of the "new parts" they replaced ended up breaking and when he brought it in to fix it, they charged him!! So much for bring under warranty! They charged for labor (not parts) on something they poorly installed in the first place. It's been less than 2 weeks, it's not like a year had gone by and he was getting it fixed. No, he was getting something fixed that they messed up. Not even a week later he's having issues with yet another part they replaced they insisted he fixed. This place is a headache and NOT worth your time or money!!! read more

Love this place. I had set an appointment, and they took care of replacing my rear brakes, and rear rotors. At first they thought they might be able to resmooth the rotors, but I told them that I thought the one groove scratched into the one rotor was too deep. And after checking it out, they agreed. But even replacing both brakes and rotors, it was still $70 cheaper than my other discount shop had quoted me. I have a 2016 Mazda CX-5. Plus I like supporting small businesses rather than the big franchises. read more

Worst worst worst! I brought my car for a flat tire and I was told to wait 10 minutes, i waited 45 min and when i asked them if they were going to fix my tire they told me after they finish whatever they were doing it. I had my 3 kids waiting in the car and they were hungry and bored. I ended up figuring myself and change it. When they saw me changing my tire a guy come out to "fix" my tire. I was so mad at that point that i told them not to do it. I changed the tire myself in 20 minutes! If i knew about this place I would never stopped there or i just would it change it myself since the beginning. read more

I paid $400 to install a front and rear 2" lift kit that I supplied. They didn't install the rear shackles. They said there mechanic could not get them to fit, then kept my brand new ones that wound up, fitting. They front key ways I supplied to raise the front end did nothing. It pulls severely to the right now. I then Paid $200 more for them to supply a 2" rear block lift kit. They called to schedule to install my 2" lowering kit (not a lift kit ). I got my money back for the $200 5 weeks later. Hire a new mechanic. read more

Amazing service took my car to get an exhaust system upgrade and made it possible for my time, although I couldn't make it because I had work they managed on my time to just come drop off my car not by me but by a friend and they had it done and ready by the time I got off work, the result was really good therefore I recommend this place for any car or truck needs and the customer care and service is also good and covid friendly. I had a lot of problems with a car I just purchased. Everything from a lit up dashboard ,gas gauge not working, engine light, and numerous other issues. wouldn't pass smog and it's a damn Jetta to top it off. Searched around all over to get it up and working like a car should. And the estimates were all ridiculous. Until I came across BST Motorsports. The workers were honest and super kind. They found me parts that were affordable to say the least. Now everything in my car works as if it was a new car. And the final cost was lower than any where else I took my car too. It passed smog with flying colors and no more lights on my dash board. It runs as good as new. And in this low cost of repairs, they also do collision and painting and I was able to get a paint job also. It's beautiful. Not your average basic paint .its got a sparkle in it that blows my mind. I recommend this business to all that needs any kind of work done. I'm a mom that makes minimum wage and it was something I am able to afford. my car went in better condition than what I got back. I also enjoyed reading the last post that recommendation of taking ones car to a puppy dog down the street, which I'd say I would rather have donated over $3,500 that I was charged for no value added other than parts purchased. I'm still waiting for a call back from the owners operators or anyone as I was promised refunds and free repairs for broken parts incurred while my vehicle was worked on. I won't hold my breath for a call even after I've left voicemails and have requested to be contacted. In Spanish I would say "ojo y "cuidado" before you trust this shop to do anything to your vehicle. I was way overdue for an oil change and desperately needed to balance my tires. Luckily, I was in the neighborhood and stopped by here. They were able to take me in right away! The whole process took about an hour, but they have TV's in their lobby area so the wait didn't even feel that long. Plus, there are a couple of restaurants and stores down the street if you want to grab a drink or eat something in the meantime while you wait, too. Overall, it was a positive experience for me. The employees are all super helpful and transparent about everything, which is always a big plus, especially in the auto business. These guys have my business for sure! read more
