Out of all of the Mexican food I had in my life. I would to say this was the worst Mexican food I had in my life. Like everything was burnt the the food had no seasoning and on top of that who the fuck put pineapple in nachos this is a disgrace to me and my culture. Doesn't answer the phone, literally was calling to place a to go order but they never picked up. Have been ordering for years but, the only time my order came correctly was the first time I ever ordered. Nothing the items come with have actually come in my order. So as someone who had ordered from their food trucks, and would drive far for the food, I was so excited when they opened up so close to my house. However, I ordered once, and left empty handed and have not returned. Don't know if I will either. Let's start with how you order online and they estimate 20 min. Walked in after waiting in my car and then was told it would be another 20 minutes. Ok I get it. Bad day. It happens especially. During these times. However, as I'm waiting, I notice the manager and most of the cooks ( all except one) in the back area which is closed in- have their masks to their chin. After witnessing that I was over it, we were in the hot spot time and Covid- was everywhere in Miami. I freaked out and asked for a refund. The cashier was not able to do so. I had to fight it on my credit card. I did not want to be there one more second. I was so grossed out. Haven't been back and don't think I will. Carelessness during these times is unacceptable. I never want to say not to go to a place, but if you're coming here for birria, go somewhere else. this was literally the worst birria i've ever had. It literally tasted like meet and cheese. The consome was just oil, no onions or cilantro. The meat was so tough, i felt like a cannibal trying to rip through it. I waited over two hours to receive my order. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and flooded with customers. However, the lack of customer service was appalling. I waited over 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. After repeating my order 3 times, it was still not ready. While I understand being understaffed, two hours seems to be a little long for TWO items. Another customer told me their order was supposed to be ready an hour and a half ago, and had been waiting for 30 minutes in their car. I spoke to the manager who assured me that my order would be out in 5 minutes. The individual at the front just places 3 boxes in front of me and walks away... I asked if this was my order and she confirmed. After getting home, low and behold, it is not my order. I drive back to the restaurant, extremely annoyed. I ask for a refund because at this point, it's ridiculous. I was told that they cannot process refunds at the restaurant. I have reached out in regards to a refund with no response which led me to file a dispute with my bank. While the food is good, it is not worthy of a two-hour wait. read more

Upon walking in the smell was amazing so I was super excited to eat here. But then I was turned off immediately because It was every busy and the staff didn't know how to be efficient with the amount of people they had coming in. The person taking the orders had no idea that they were out of certain items. I ordered a side and my food never came but my daughter's did so I asked what was wrong and they told me that they were out of the item that I ordered. Instead of compensating with an alternative side I was told that I needed to pay for the other side. By the time I got my food it was cold as well was my daughters. I went here for the free friedOreos they were giving to FIU students w a purchase of an entree. But the Oreos were the only thing good about it. I came in while it was slow , and spent a little while on choosing what I wanted. When I was ready I literally had to yell and call someone from the back to come and take my order bc they were busy talking and did not even check to see if I was ready knowing I was out there and haven't placed an order yet. I finally placed it and they had me waiting forever as they were not in a rush to push out orders because it was only me waiting. It wasn't until a group came and that's when I believe they started on my order. The language barrier was very apparent I felt like I had no other choice but to wait because there was no one for me to complain too. When my order was finally ready which was just three basic tacos... they forgot my Oreos. I had to remind them and then had to wait longer as they had to make them. Then visibly annoyed and upset I left but had to come back after checking my food to see there was not a side of queso in my bag as requested. SMH.
