I went to Tiago's this past Saturday. While the food was better than what you would get at a Chipotle, it does not excuse the poor service and crowded dining area. The girl behind the counter looked like she didn't want to be there and it was reflected in the service provided. Seeing a sign behind the counter advertising 2 for 1 margaritas, we decided to take advantage of the deal. When we ordered the margaritas, we were told that that deal was not being honored despite no note/asterisk stating promotional restrictions. The kitchen took forever to get the food out, prioritizing food delivery over the in store customers. We asked the girl behind the counter to check the status of the rest of our order, but there wasn't much help from her (at least offer something to remedy the situation). By the time all of our orders were ready, some of the food was cold. Let me reiterate that the food was not bad and is the only reason why I'm giving them a second star. The dining area isn't a place to be if you are cautious with COVID-19. Tables are small and near each other with no social distancing practices in effect. The line of patrons waiting to be served/order crowds the guests sitting down at the tables. Due to limited staff tables weren't wiped down as often as they should. In summary, the food was good and service wasn't great. If I were to go back, it probably would not be my call. read more

I was extremely disappointed with how everything came out. The queso frito seemed old. It was rubbery and not even warm. The crunch wrap was soggy. But their service takes an eternity, I have had multiple times that I had to wait 2 hours because I ordered ahead and they never sent the notification the food was done; by the time I got there they were about to throw away my food. Yesterday night I went to pick up an order at Tiagos tacos coral way for Postmates. The guy behind the counter had one hand on my order and one hand on the drink and started a conversation with the man behind him. In almost 400 deliveries, this has never happened before. It wasn't a conversation in regards to my order, which was just a burrito and soda because nothing changed. Long story short when I finally left the place I had pain in the center of my chest. Even though I'm not the customer I'm there in proxy for the customer. The whole supply chain depends on the restaurant, the courier, and the customer all being highly cognizant of the pandemic. Even if all of their workers get a coronavirus test, that test is 80% accurate plus all sorts of people through that restaurant to the front to pick up their orders. It's not overly large and they have a pretty sizable kitchen staff but they keep the door closed(shrugs). Also the sign for tiagos tacos was not lit when I went there at night. read more

Tiago's Tacos is not it, at all. I went in expecting it to be really good since we've heard people talk about it before, but we were dissatisfied with the food. As soon as you walk in, it's kind of musty and dull. We ordered the Birria Tacos, Crunch Wrap, and Taco Trio: Beef, Chicken and Carnitas. The birria tacos were bland, including the consume. There was no sazón at all in it. The beef had no flavor to it, it tasted as if it was boiled in water and that's it. The taco trio was cold and the tortilla was stale. The Crunch Wrap, oh boy. The Crunch Wrap just topped it all off. It tasted like if you slapped together a bunch of items from your pantry at home and you're really hungry. Mind you, we went in on it having the Taco Bell Crunch Wrap in mind and I would 100% rather the one from Taco Bell. As a matter of fact, I would've targeted had Taco Bell that night. My friend found this place on Instagram and wanted to try it, so we gave it a chance! We were very pleasantly surprised with our food. I got a chicken Crunchwrap and holy smokes-it was amazing. Vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients. We got take out which is sometimes not the best with Mexican food. However, the food traveled well and was delicious. The shrimp tacos were very yummy as well.
