I had wrote a different review that was 3/5 stars the other day, but after being contacted by Soo, who is the owner and lady that does the hair, and she and i discussed options on how to make it right. She has never had the issue before of the hair falling out so easily and wasn't sure what to do to make it right. She wants every customer to be completely happy and satisfied. She cares deeply for every customer. I will say, i did not try to reach out to her prior to my review which in hindsight, i should of. Since the single bead extensions were not really for me, she and i discussed getting a few pieces of her colored hair extensions in the clips. I first visited Soo back in September of 2017, so this review is long overdue. To preface, I had cut my hair short earlier that year and wanted it to be long for an event in October. Soo, her partner, and their dog Rocky were so welcoming, helpful, and amazing. I don't have much to compare with as it was my first time getting hair extensions, but the level of service was beyond my expectations! Through countless phone calls, texts, and an in-person consultation which was set after hours because of my crazy schedule, I feel the whole experience was a success. I went with the microbeading, and it took a good three hours to attach all the hair in. Throughout the process Soo offered advice on how to clean, keep, and style the hair, and made herself available for Facetime consults if needed. I kept them in for almost two months! Finding Soo is like finding GOLD. I have my dream hair. It's beautiful and her work is impeccable. The way extensions SHOULD BE. I came to her after a HORRIBLE first extension experience. I was even scared to go back to the woman (*see bottom note) to have them removed after only having them for less than two weeks - they were installed WRONG, we're falling out etc etc. it was really bad. Soo was so calm and reassuring. I could tell immediately she could be trusted. She got the remaining extensions removed and she talked to me about going forward. I went ahead and had them reinstalled by Soo and I'm SO glad I didn't give up and that I found HER. After all the research and my experience I have realized that finding someone like her is very few and far between. I literally have custom extensions. When I recently went to my hair stylist to get my roots done she said she had seen a lot of extensions come through her salon but never like mine. She even had another stylist to come over and look at Soo's work. They were impressed. Her prices for her work are excellent in my opinion. I'm always at a loss for what to do with my hair (it's either down or up in a ponytail...not creative at all) and it was total happenstance that I stumbled into Hello Tiara one afternoon. The store's owner, Soo, is absolutely the most helpful person I've ever met and pointed out the different hair accessories that she carried in her store. I wound up purchasing a decorative hair comb that she walked myself and my friend the various ways to wear it. She even went so far as to diagram them on a piece of paper so I could practice at home! A month later, I had a Christmas party to attend and I called Soo and she told me to swing by the store and she would help me out. In less than 5 minutes, she put my hair up in a half-up/half-down do which looked so great! She encouraged me to come back for a one-on-one session so she could walk me through the technique when I had more time. With an out of town function coming up, I knew that if I were to wear my pretty hair comb for a formal party, I would need to learn how to do it myself. I phoned Soo up this morning and scheduled a time to go in for a lesson. Soo was so patient with me. I wanted to learn how to do the half-up/half-down (which is seems so simple but I found to be so challenging) and Soo had me do it over and over until I "got it". She wouldn't let me just get by, she wanted to make sure I was confident with the technique. What a total sweetheart! The pieces are so beautiful, from clips, hair pins, combs, hair-ties, headbands. She has a wide variety of hair accessories for everyday wear as well as for special occasions. If you are looking for wedding hair accessories, I would definitely check out Hello Tiara. Not only will you wind up with something beautiful, you can either learn to do it yourself or Soo will do it for you. I am so glad that I found this gem of a shop. I can't believe I am the first person to review Moree Hair Extensions! Soo and Steve, the owners, seriously know their trade. Let me preface this by saying that I have been getting extensions for the past ten years and never returned to the same place twice. I have very frizzy, thin hair and because beauty schools don't teach extensions in regular curriculum, NO ONE ever can make my extensions look natural. If my hair wasn't so thin and stringy, I'd have given up by now. But Soo and Steve offered great prices and were willing to drive to my place in San Francisco to install them so I figured I would give it yet another shot. I only have 1 day a week off, and when I spoke to Soo she was so accommodating that she offered to come to my place that very week. Normally I have to meet for a consultation, wait for the hair to be ordered and then finally get them installed. I asked her how she would match my hair color and she asked me to send her pictures. This saved a lot of time for me but also worried me a bit. When she showed up at my house though, the hair was SPOT ON. I have a strange, reddish color to my hair and she totally nailed it. I couldnt believe it! Soo and Steve make such a good team and work very fast together. She is so gentle, I could have fallen asleep when she worked on my hair. She paid close attention to my hair and where it got thin and worked around that. Most the time I have paid double the cost for extensions that make me look bald if the wind blows in my hair. Both Soo and Steve traveled to South Korea for their training which explains why they use the newest methods and really know what they are doing. This review is WAY overdue. I can't say enough good things about this place, and about the co-owners. Soo has spent years perfecting her technique as an extensionist (is that a word? ah, well: I just made it one) in the United States and internationally--and her experience shows. I actually just stumbled on Soo and her store through a google search and gave her a call. She was super friendly on the phone and more than happy to answer the questions that I had and try to ease my concerns about getting extensions (I'm SO finicky about my hair). Then, she invited me in for a free consultation. At the consultation, I decided to do weft-lock extentsions (she also does single lock) and she matched my colour/picked out a good length for my hair (she even picked out some fun highlight colours). Best yet: she had the hair in stock already, so it was a matter of scheduling another appointment during off-hours when she wouldn't be interrupted too many times for the install. I came away from the install feeling like a princess. I thought maybe my hair would have to be cut in order to blend properly with the extension hair. Nope. Soo just knows what she's doing enough that my hair blended beautifully on its own. That's how you know someone is good at what they do. About 6 weeks later, I went in for my adjustment. It was super speedy and painless. I came out feeling very tidy and happy, as usual. Unfortunately, about two weeks later, a couple of the links started sliding and a weft started pulling away from my head (the take away here is that you need to be very sparing/careful about what products you use near your roots when you have extensions). Soo got me in right away to fix it AND she basically did a full mini-adjustment because she "felt bad that they started to slide so soon," AND it was gratis. I ended up buying a hair pin anyway because her boutique is chock-full of cute accessories and I needed something sparkly for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. Did I mention I drive from San Jose for this? I had gone to some local places but didn't like the technique. Now I figure "why mess with a good thing," so I'll continue to make the drive for Soo. :) read more

I love My hair extensions. They look so good! Although, it's worth noting that the single loc extensions take some getting used to. They are like little metal things all over your head, but they look really great. It's kind of challenging to figure out how to put your hair up to workout and such when you suddenly have 3X as much. I have been able to seep fine with the extensions and I did my first workout last night and I managed to keep my hair up with 2 hair ties and a scrunchee type of thing on the outside. Laying flat on your back also takes some getting used to but don't they always so beauty is pain? And they really do make your hair amazing so I think it's worth it.
