It was my birthday and we are vacationing and wanted pedicures so I called and made two appointments for my daughter (18 years) and I.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon entering the man did not greet us, he waited 10 seconds and said "sign in" as I was already doing it. He then got mad at us for touching the nail polish and said "put it back in the right spot".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]About 15 minutes later we get called back to sit and my daughter got so lucky with her nail tech (Tam), a young man who was doing his all to make her experience good - I'm glad she got him![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My lady came over 15 minutes after that, she did not make eye contact, she did not greet me and didn't say a word to me the whole time besides "water" meaning 'put your feet in the water' or a hard tap on my leg meaning 'take them out of water'.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At one point I told her I had a hurt toenail and it probably needed a tool because a file wouldn't do the job (I do this everytime I get a pedicure and have never had a problem and the issue is visible) she completely ignored me. This was the most uncomfortable experience I've had, and it costed me $100 - worst part of all, it was my birthday and all I wanted was a decent pedicure with some hospitality! read more

I went for the first time here after dealing with a place that closed down after 5 years of me going there. Don't bother making an appointment. Every time I do I have to wait 15-45 minutes. Today had appointment at 3:30,,walked in and every station taken and 5-6 people waiting. I asked if I would be seen for My appointment and was asked if I could come later......NO! That's why I made an appointment! I'm done with this place! I've been here quite a few times because of the convenience of its location. I've walked out after waiting over an hour for said appointment time. And waited 35 minutes another time so don't bother with appointments. I will say the pedicures I've received have been great but any gel nail services I've had have been awful. I'm pretty sure I've had the owner in the back table 7 twice and he rushes and is sloppy. My nails look horrible right now, all uneven on the surface. Won't be going back, have this place more than enough chances. read more

I went to Tiare Nail Spa on 8/2/24. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Huge disappointment. First and last visit there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices very high for a pedicure but perhaps normal for this part of the country. To have any dry skin on your feet removed the price jumps to $45, to get gel nail polish the price goes up to $60. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I was done I was not told where to go to dry my toenails and had to sit there while the tech cleaned her equipment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When she came back she picked up my shoes and purse, led me to the drying table and told me in broken English "15 minutes". [[HIGHLIGHT]]She didn't speak English so any questions I had went unanswered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I assumed she was right, and proceeded to carefully put on my sandals after 15 minutes, smudging the polish on 5 toes. When I told someone, they sat me back on a salon chair and began to paint my nails again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A nail tech on the other side of the room stood up and started screaming at me as loud as she could that " when you leave there you can't put your sandals on, you need to wait till they're dry, you need to wait at least 25 minutes, etc.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I finally asked her who she thought she was screaming and that I followed the tech's instructions, etc. Come to find out their dryers don't even work. There's no fans and no lights for your toenails. In my second attempt to dry them I tried all 3 stations. Not one had a light and there were no fans. I will never go there again. Worst management ever. We had 1pm appointments for 4 of us last Saturday and the first person in our party wasn't taken until 1:50 and the last was taken at 2:15. We were all booked for basic manicures, but they decided to take two pedicures who had 1:15 appointments ahead of us. They said the reason they were running late was because the people before us decided to do fancy nail designs. Sorry, but my usual salon would have said no to that because they were booked back to back on a busy Saturday. By far the best pedicure in the area. Every pedicure includes hot rocks and they take their time rubbing your legs/feet. I brought my mom here and I consider her rather picky and she loved it and said this will be her new nail place. Can't wait to get my Christmas acrylics!! read more

Huge Disappointment - my friend booked 6 weeks in advance for us both to get a pedicure together. Arrived for appointment, waited 40 minutes in the chair before we asked the manger how much longer. We were told 10 minutes. My friends nail tech started her pedicure 50 minutes late as I continued to wait. Still waiting over and hour I told them I wasn't going to get my pedicure any longer as my friend was halfway done with hers and no other technicians were available. While my friend was waiting for her toes to dry the manager looked at her and started to laugh. She called him out and said this isn't funny. We had a scheduled appointment & this is not how you run a business. They took a few other people while we were waiting instead. My friend had the deluxe pedicure and everything was rushed. Total time was 24 mins, No relaxing pedicure at this location!! Waste of $45!! Not a good first impression for first time visitors. WE WILL NOT RETURN!! I am missing a knuckle on my right hand ring finger, which makes that finger shorter than the rest. I am very used to people being curious, and even a little weirded out, as I know it's not a common thing to see, however the fact that the woman doing my nails made fun of and laughed at my hand every single time she did something on that particular nail was a bit much. I was embarrassed enough at that but willing to let it go, again I know it's not something people would be used to seeing. However, after she was done with my nails she got up and started speaking to another employee; whilst I couldn't understand most of their conversation I could clearly hear her say "baby finger" while looking in my direction and then the two of them burst out laughing. I went back one more time because she did do a great job with my nails, but this time I had a different young lady as my nail tech. About halfway through my appointment, the original lady who did my nails came out of the back, spotted me and walked over to point out my "baby finger" to my new nail tech. I'm thankful that the new tech barely responded, just smiled and kept on doing my nails whereas the women again burst out laughing. I'm all for some light teasing, but I felt this was a little over the line. Two stars because my nails did look nice, but overall I left feeling pretty lousy. read more

I've been several times, and yes the manager is a bit rude but calling her a dragon lady seems a bit racist to me. Really not cool. I've been happy with the results every time and I've had several different types and different techs working on my nails. I have been turned away two times when I didn't make an appointment ahead of time. Not a huge deal. It's a busy place. It's a clean, relaxing atmosphere. I don't care if the workers speak a different language because I'm not totally paranoid and what little I do speak of their language I gather they're usually talking about where they want to go for lunch, or the weather. I have never been treated worse by a business in my life. I went in as a walk in with my daughter. They said they had time for us (manicure for me and polish change for her - she is 5) we waited about 10-15 minutes. While we were waiting, My daughter dropped her nail polish bottle on the floor and it broke. So I moved the chair it made a mess under and let an employee know. She came over and handed me a roll of paper towels and said "You clean it." Shocked, I took it and said "I can't really bend down, I'm 8 months pregnant." And to that she walked away. So I did manage to pick up the glass and she came back (I thought to help - but NOPE) and handed me a bottle of acetone and said "use to clean." And walked away again. I stared at her in disbelief and I did a little more of what I could - again, I'm 8 months pregnant!! So we waited a bit longer because my daughter was sad about breaking the nail polish and as we sat and waiting, they took a person who walked in after us. Needless to say we walked out. There were a few things that could be improved here. The language barrier was tough. I don't mind working a bit harder to communicate, but the gentleman who was trying to get water going for pedi couldn't understand too hot which to me is a safety issue. The appointment times mean nothing. I made an appointment because I have to pay a sitter to get out and try to streamline things. Watched 2 walk-ins get taken right before 2 girls w appointments at that time came in. They were still waiting when I left. At the end I was rushed out and she insisted on putting my sandals on. She messed up one nail and got nail polish on my sandals in process. She touched up the nail but with minimal effort. Everything was clean, but with so many choices nearby I'd probably go elsewhere. read more

This was the second attempt at this nail salon. I'm not sure the technicians should be licensed. I had two different technicians try to give me a pedicure. The first time the technician said I had an ingrown toenail on my big toe. I told the technician she was hurting me. Needless to say the toe was very sore for days. Today the technician hurt my toe so bad it was bleeding. I chose to leave without the the service being complete. I'm shocked this place is still in business. read more

I sat in the pedicure chair for over 20 minutes before putting my feet in water. Every other place I have ever been to at least soaks your feet while you wait. Then they put nothing in the water to soak my feet in. It's not really a pedicure if my feet are soaked in water. I could have done this at home. I asked for the deluxe pedicure the lady barely scrubbed my feet to get any dead skin off, then put the salt or sugar scrub on my legs and feet but didn't rinse that off before applying the mask. My legs were suppose to be wrapped in hot towels and they were just wiped down with them. I asked for French on my toes and the lady really didn't know how to do that either they are not even at all and only did one coat of the clear pink, one coat of white and the under and top coats. Definitely not worth $45 it was something I could have done myself and honestly done a better job. Very disappointing. read more
