I have just dealt with the Brite Touch Cleaners in the 18000 block of University Blvd. My order was a pickup and delivery. They delayed bringing my clothes back to me. I had to insist that my clothes be brought back on the 2nd scheduled date. After asking that it be delivered to my apartment, the driver left it at the office. He even told the office staff that he was leaving at my request. I had a 20% coupon. All of the prices were jacked up for different reasons. I will never use them again! read more

This is a new business trying to acquire repeat clientele and I am hoping this review will help the customers. Apparently the owners have not put a sign on the small credit card processing machine to state that if the credit card has a chip, insert it in the slot. I WAS ASKED to swipe the card which I did and it didn't get processed so the owner asked me if my card had a chip. From here on, the conversation with the owner was not reflective of business acumen. I am not saying the customer is always right but please make sure your business is set up to accept credit cards and that signs are posted. I did finally figure out where to insert the chip but customer shouldn't have to learn a payment system. Just put a small label with an arrow that shows where to insert a chip card. read more

I took my laundry here to try them out. They put it under the wrong name. They made me go home to get my receipt didn't even try to help me solve the problem when I was there. Then when I get there They didn't count my laundry correctly. While I was there somebody showed up and that had gotten somebody else's laundry. Brite Touch Cleaners broke my trust after 2 years of using this franchise and I will never use them again. Gave my 11 dress shirts on a Friday to the Riverstone/University Blvd location. Went to pickup Saturday and Amitha said 1 shirt is lost and will contact me Monday. No contact Monday so I called and she said the shirt has been found. Upon picking up she said the shirt was torn and so was not cleaned. She said she was too busy to call me when she found the tear on Friday and forgot that she had set it aside on Saturday when I came to pick it originally. It has clearly been snagged by something and a rip happened (see pics). This rip did not occur in a stress area or at a seam as you can see. I showed her a photo of me wearing the shirt at my event the week before with my shirt sleeves rolled up. There is no way the cuff could have snagged on something without creating 3 layers of holes through all the folds so it didn't happen when I was wearing it. When I undress I unroll my shirt sleeves standing in my master bedroom closet and put my dress shirts into the same garment bag immediately so it's ready to take to the cleaners as I've done for years. I would have noticed a tear this big on an inside cuff unrolling the sleeves and the garment bag has no holes so it could not have been caught on something taking it to them. She said she would show me video of when she found the tear. I went back and she showed me a recording of the time stamped surveillance camera footage of me dropping off the shirts on her counter. Then another clip 21 minutes later of her setting the shirt aside from the others. I asked her to show me the missing 21 minutes between me dropping off the shirts and when she put that one aside and she refused at first saying it's too much footage. Then she said the manager would have to unlock the DVR with his password to see the footage and to come back 1 week later. One week later no call from the manager and so I called Amitha. She now says they refuse to show me the missing 21 minutes of video. I told her I'm not mad about the rip, I will get it fixed by a tailor. What I want to know is what happened in those 21 minutes so I can put my mind at rest. Accidents happen but how you handle the situation is more important to me because I spend too much money with them to have something like this happen again to one of my shirts. Maybe another customer walked in and laid a hanger across my shirt and ripped it while it was laying on the counter during those 21 minutes? Let's figure it out together and put this behind us is what I said. But they refused. Amitha says I just have to trust what her manager says. They've broken my trust, are clearly hiding they snagged my shirt on something that morning, and are now going to lose hundreds of dollars in future business from me. I was fully prepared to forgive and continue doing business with them even if they admitted to ripping it or if they proved they didn't. Their continuous avoidance from my shirt being originally "lost" and then ripped and never informing me at any stage much less their inability to show me what happened in those 21 minutes has broken my trust completely and I will never do business with the BriteTouch franchise again. I simply cannot trust them with my property. After spending hundreds of dollars with them over the years I can't get a call back even once from Amitha or a manager because they are too "busy" and I have to chase after them to see what happened to my property. I advise you to stay away from them if you value your clothing. You may get lucky with them a few times but the first time they damage your clothing, this is how they treat you. It is not worth the heartache. Thankfully I found a good tailor in the area and they were able to salvage the shirt. There are plenty of other non-franchise single location dry cleaners in the area that aren't "too busy" to care for their customers and I'll be choosing one of them going forward. I advise you to do your research and do the same. read more
