Priority Toyota Chesapeake - Waiting Area for my currently and still going 3.5 hour oil change (:

BLUF: Trust Ellie. She exemplifies a young person that knows her job well, has excellent customer…read moreservice skills, and legitimately wants to help clients. She, and from what my family members confirm is a trusted Service Department, are why you should consider purchasing from Priority Toyota. Ellie is a remarkable young professional at this dealership. She is knowledgeable and will work with you regarding financial manipulations, warranty packages, and a variety of other incentives. Salesman Dylan is new to the profession, but he is honest and has the drive to succeed. His integrity stems from previous military service. I believe Toyota buyers bank on brand reliability. Thus, the decision regarding where to purchase is related to variables that don't all have tangible metrics. Price points between dealerships won't vary too much in a geographic area. Consider what business model they use for sales? How customer oriented are their policies (e.g., state inspections, oil changes, detailing, etc.) Priority Toyota is worth my time and money. I recommend you give them a chance. And ask for Dylan and Ellie.

Dropped my vehicle off at 10am for an oil change. 3 HOURS later, I get their text with about…read more$10,000 in repair suggestions. I decline them all. Just need the oil change today thanks. I see the progress online that it's almost complete. I called 4 times to my service agent. Went to voice mail every single time. I called the service department they forward me to someone and it goes to voice mail. I left several voice mails and nobody returns my call. I call sales department. Someone answers, transfers me to service and goes straight to voice mail. I call back ask for the manager, I get transferred to another voice mail. I'm just trying to get my car back before the weekend at this point. I cannot believe the level of ineptitude I experienced today. Definitely a 0/10 experience for a basic oil change. It's almost like they are holding my car hostage because I didn't agree to the $10,000 in repair estimates. Finally after 5-6 calls to the sales department, somebody apparently forwarded my call to a managers personal phone to which he asked, who gave you my personal number? How am I supposed to know that???? I didn't call him, someone forwarded me to him. He says he'll go over there and call me back. He calls back and says it's almost ready. At that point I finally get a text back from the service manager Destiny who says I texted during her break. So you mean to tell me this big dealership has no process to help someone while one of their many service managers is on break? So my repair took an extra hour and a half because someone was on an hour+ lunch break? This place has gone downhill over the last several years. I should've known it wasn't going to be good when I first get there and have to wait about 2 minutes for a group of employees, right in front of me, to end their seemingly hilarious conversation before someone finally acknowledged me. Not sure what's changed but I used to be about to get in an out for an oil change and a tire rotation in about an hour. Now it's 4-5 hours??? Dropped off at 10, final told that it's ready at 2:15pm??? Good thing I didn't stay there and wait for it to be done. When it does come time to replace my 2010 Toyota 4Runner, Priority Toyota of Chesapeake will not my high on my priority list.

Horrible customer service from Priority Honda Chesapeake…read more I have been a loyal Priority Honda Chesapeake customer for over 16 years and have purchased two brand-new vehicles from this dealership. I have routinely trusted their service department with my vehicles, including something as basic as an oil change. Unfortunately, the service I received today was unacceptable. I dropped my vehicle off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, for a routine oil change. I never received a call or text telling me the vehicle was ready. At approximately 2:30 p.m., I called the service department myself and was told that they had not even worked on my vehicle yet. By 5:30 p.m., the dealership was closed, and my vehicle was still sitting there. As a result, I am now without my vehicle until Monday morning at the earliest. This has created a significant problem for my family because my wife now has to figure out how she is going to get to work. I even called the sales department hoping someone could help resolve the situation, but I was simply told that sales was a different department and they could not help. After 16 years of being a loyal customer and purchasing two vehicles from Priority Honda, I expected considerably better communication and customer service than this. An oil change should not take all day, and if there was a delay that prevented the service department from completing the work, someone should have contacted me before the dealership closed. I am extremely disappointed with the way this was handled. What was once a dealership I trusted has, in my experience, gone significantly downhill over the years. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing or servicing a vehicle here to think carefully about the level of customer service they expect. Priority Honda Chesapeake has lost a very loyal customer tonight.

The owner,…read moreJohn Gabriel, worked with me when I explained I had a horrible experience with a previous dealership where I drove 3 hours away and I made an appointment and they sold the car to someone else while I was test driving it, and he promised to work with me to make sure I don't have a similar experience and he really did make it happen. I drove 3 and a half hours to get there and immediately I could tell my happiness truly was their priority and they care about their customers. The other two associates were also incredibly friendly and helpful when walking me through the actual buying process. They made sure I was all set before making my drive home by making sure I had a full sized spare tire, when I brought up my concern that there was no front license plate mount they instantly took action to make sure it was fixed for me, and a full tank of gas! I went home with an amazing car and an even better experience. Thank you so much!

For me, every time I have come here has been an amazing, gracious experience. I was sold my car by the dapper C.J. Morris, who is a man that keeps things real. Each time I came in afterward he recognizes me and shakes my hand. Drivers World has a good policy of "price as marked" with no haggling, since their prices are already low. I don't know about that across the board, but my 2010 Hyundai Accent was a great deal. I have had two issue happen with my car since its purchase. The first was when my spare key came in from the Hyundai Mother Ship. We tried it out and it got stuck in the ignition! Samantha, in their service dept., immediately got me a rental and called a locksmith to look at it the next day. My car was fixed up that next day too, the locksmith had to re-cut part of the key. My second issue was when my car suddenly didn't start one day after work. I took a panicked trip in the tow truck to Drivers World where they got me a loaner car that night. They called me in the morning and told me it was the starter. I returned my loaner and they got me a rental; a few days later I picked up my car from Checkered Flag Hyundai. So far, everything has been covered and I always get treated nice there. I had a great buying experience and their awesome service has continued. Hopefully all my visits will be this good.

I didn't think much of it but my fiancé told me to get it checked out. I never did till it got really bad. One day I'm going on a lil trip with my car & my 2 yr old son was with me. So I'm on the interstate & my engine light just starts flashing & it wouldn't go no faster than 57 miles. I had to pull over on the interstate & turn on my hazard lights. I had to drive an hour & some minutes back home only going 57 miles on the interstate just so they could tow my car from home. Mind you, the day after they "claimed" they fixed it my car did the same exact thing not even 24hrs of me having it. Recently my car stopped on a stop light because it was over heated & smoking. Now you may be thinking "what could cause that" well my c-h cooling ruptured all over my engine so i didn't have any cooling on a 81 degree hot day. Now they're saying I'll have to get a whole new engine & this is only the second month I've had the car. The worst part about it all is, i don't even want the car anymore it's putting me into financial stress. It's been in the shop more times than I've driven it.

My service advisor, Brendan, provided excellent customer service from start to finish. This was my first time visiting this location since I originally purchased my vehicle from Vandergriff Acura, where I also received outstanding service. I was honestly a little nervous that the experience here in Virginia wouldn't measure up. Thanks to Brendan's professionalism, communication, and attentiveness, my worries were completely put at ease. He made the entire process smooth and pleasant, and I truly appreciated how well I was taken care of. Because of this experience, I will definitely continue getting my vehicle serviced at Priority Acura in Chesapeake. Great customer service makes all the difference!

Unfortunately, after the repair was completed, I discovered multiple bolts and nuts were only hand-tightened and had not been torqued to the required specifications. Considering this involves critical suspension and subframe components, this was a serious safety concern. Because I no longer had confidence in the quality of the work performed, I chose to take the vehicle to another shop and pay to have the repair inspected and corrected properly rather than return it to the facility that performed the original work. Mistakes happen, but leaving safety-related components loose after a recall repair is unacceptable. A basic quality-control inspection should have caught this before the vehicle was released. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves its workmanship and inspection process before someone gets hurt.
