I was incredibly pleased with my service. Fai was transparent and communicated well throughout the repair. He explained the entirety of the repair, why he suggested each step, and where the costs were coming from. He even offered me a ride home instead of calling a lyft to save money! (I declined because, in his words, he is a "one man band"). Fai completed the repair while I was on TAD, but tended to the car while his wife was at home with a newborn (even taking the job the day she went into labor!). Everything was done on time even giving his major life event. Fai is a testament to the mechanic trade and his customer service defies the stereotype that mechanics are underhanded and dishonest. I won't be going anywhere else that's for sure. I was a little worried at first because the shop is in a strange location but hands down the best service I've ever gotten. I came in with hearing a strange/worrying noise that I thought was my tires rubbing on my car while driving. They listened to everything I had to say, checked under my car, manipulated the tires continuously and test drove it with me until they finally heard the sound I had been describing. Turned out it was my muffler rubbing against my trunk! They worked continuously and didn't give up after not hearing the noise the first time(like previous shops had). Barely charged me a dime. My car would crank but wouldnt start.After testing every thing i could think of and double checking every part i could think of, i knew i was going to need a diagnostic. I am very mechanically inclined and have a good knowledge of vehicle repair having experience in the workfield for 5+ years, i didnt want to give up on fixing it myslef but i was stumped after checking sensors, spark plugs, coil packs, fuel injectors, fuel pump, battey, starter etc. I didnt want to take it to the dealer to get the "no lube" treatment just for them to test everything i had already tested and tell me they need another hundred, and then another hundred just to test things and end up replacing parts i might not need, leading to an expensive repair bill. I knew who i wanted to work on my car, because i have never seen him give up on any issue with a vehicle,because i had the pleasure of working with him for 2 years at a previous employer and learned alot from him.Fai is one of the smartest technicians i have ever worked with.
