"Invalid social security number" is simply a misleading error message. In our case, the transfer of data from Quicken (including the release of SSN) won't complete until after the effective date of the transfer. Then we will be able to make an online account. I am hoping the 60 day protection period ("expected and normal", per phone rep) for this transfer will mean that a naturally late payment (through no fault of our own - I cannot pay online without an account!) will indeed work out, and that the rest of the transition will be smooth. But as you can see, I am already a bit cynical. I will try to remember to update this review if things improve, though (with the caveat that a star will ABSOLUTELY be lost if there are extra fees for the convenience of paying online. This is 2020, folks. Paper is dead.) On the brighter side, our representative was very clear and kind.

Loancare is a nightmare to deal with and their incompetence forced me to file an official complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) due to their absolute negligence. I had a partial claim that was done for deferred payments during Covid in 2020 and now that I'm trying to sell over 6 years later, turns out they never sent the claim to HUD so the closing company can't get the required payoff statement. Almost 2 weeks of getting the runaround from their under-trained phone call reps saying "they don't send that to HUD" and "the county is supposed to send that to HUD" (spoiler alert, that is NOT their responsibility) to now they seemingly have figured out after almost daily calls that it IS their job to do that, they may have delayed my closing by 4-6+ WEEKS. Which means they can now get even more payments and interest from me, smells like fraud doesn't it? I'll ask a lawyer. Twice they seemingly opened a case and had someone working on this and it looks like each time it got assigned the person went "I don't know how to do this and/or this isn't my job!" and closed it out despite me sending ample explanations/documentation, of course I never got a call or message about it. It's not my problem Loancare didn't do their job nor is it going to be, if I don't get a call back from your Resolution Team like they stated to me on their recorded line, I will escalate this as high as it needs to go.

He doesn't speak English and we had a Laos translator speak to him through the phone and made everything so easy! I did my car loan through Navy Federal. It was fast and easy, you can even do it online. I was able to get a great deal and incredibly low APR. I use the NavyFederal mobile app on iPhone all the time. The eDeposit makes it convenient for me to deposit my check by taking a picture of the front and back. It usually only takes about an hour to a day for me to have the money in my bank. The employees here are really sweet and patient. If you ever have any questions or concerns they are eager to answer and help you.
