First thing when you walk in this restaurant smells very clean. Not overpowering but the reassuring smell that they take food safety seriously. They are located in a Publix shopping plaza and have booths, tables and a bar with stools. I sat in a booth and came specifically for lunch because Amanda, another Yelper, had called out the deals. I was really impressed with their salsa. Usually I want queso but this had such a fresh taste and to me had an old school chunky texture you rarely find. I ate way too many of the complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the lunch ribeye and the lunch chicken fajitas. The fajitas came out in the traditional sizzling presentation. They tasted as good as they looked with all the fixings. The steak was for later. A lot of time a thin lunch steak does not come out to a medium rare. This was spot on and the steak was juicy and tender. A really good steak! Both meals came with tortillas that maybe were homemade? The server greeted me and took my order right away. I had asked for some modifications and I thought it was nice she repeated them back to me so the kitchen would get it right. My bill was presented and quickly processed on a handheld device. Overall the ambiance of this restaurant is a neighborhood family place. I appreciated that they offer extremely neat bathrooms and a selfie wall for celebrations.

The flavor was lacking and didn't have a strong coconut or pineapple flavor. It came just as pictured, no whip cream or even a pineapple garnish. The enchilada was also lacking in flavor as well. Everything was pretty bland as a whole. Service also was very slow and took a long time for our dishes. We came for dinner around 8:30 and it was packed but by the time we left at around 9:30 it had thinned out a lot.

Giving it 3 stars because the ordering process was smooth, food was brought to our table, and the presentation looked appealing. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in key areas. There was a noticeable delay -- we received our tacos first, and about 10 minutes later realized our burger was just sitting off to the side. When it was finally brought to us, the staff member casually mentioned, "Oh, I wondered why there was just a single burger here." We tried the ground beef and chicken tacos, but both lacked flavor. The beef was completely unseasoned, and the pickled cabbage and jalapeños tasted like very basic pickling. The chicken wasn't much better -- so bland it reminded us of the plain, broiled chicken we make for our dog. Sadly, that's where it ended up. The smash burger looked good -- gooey cheese and decent bun -- but again, no seasoning and no crispy edges. We didn't finish it because it just wasn't worth the calories. On the plus side, prices were reasonable. Maybe it was just an off day in the kitchen, but as a first-time experience, it was a major letdown. We're open to trying again in the future, but it'll be a while before we return.

Awesome smash burger, had mine with the jalapeño American cheese. Absolutely delicious!read more

Not sure what the real name is but we will be going back and will try to re-post the name WOW! ....What a delicious & wonderful surprise! Fresh, and made to order,.... Tacos (chicken, chorizo or steak), Pupusas (cheese stuffed corn tortillas) and Pinchos (seasoned beef on a stick)... We had one of each of the tacos just to try them all and we loved the chicken the best. The green sauce is nice and hot, (jalapenos boiled to make a sauce), as the customers came and left the chef had to refill the squeeze bottle several times! The two ladies, (pictured) ordered the Pupusas and the chef handmade the patties right then and there, hows that for freshness?? The chef spoke very little English...but was it wasn't a challenge in ordering Lots of local customers stood in line to order and then waited while their hot food was prepared, (always a good sign), don't expect fast service, this is Latino slow food at its best and worth the wait. We ordered the chicken tamales to take home for dinner and they did not disappoint. Tamales were filled with chicken. olives, chick peas and yucca or potato. We managed to remember the green sauce and doused our tamale with it..YUM YUM! I found that some people are not comfortable with Food Truck dining...all I have to say is I have found some of my best meals on food trucks...especially on the streets of Mexico and Guatemala! We are posting pictures of the truck, menu (six items), phone number and some of the offerings. Highly Reccomended*****Five Stars ***** We will be going back soon!
