The salon is nice, clean and very mellow. The service I went in for was a classic pedicure with polish. She burned my feet with the water then laughed. When she did my pedicure she didn't buff my heels or remove the dead skin off anywhere on my feet. I do a better job in my shower. I should really give 1 star though because of the damage that was done to my nails by the other tech who did my full set. She absolutely RUSHED through the service (certain customers seem to get different treatment...) and did not fill the acrylic all the way to my cuticles (my nails looked like I already had them for two weeks, right after it was done) and she filed into the middle of my nail bed. Whenever I come into the shop I feel rushed and as if my money isn't green like other customers. I got sat down with no one to come help for at least 30 minutes, I don't mind waiting at all, however as soon as a Caucasian customer came in, all the workers JUMP to assist her. The workers ALWAYS confuse me with another Black girl (this happens more than I can even count). And the last girl I asked a question while I was there was just so rude, and nasty with answering me, I just couldn't understand why I was being treated that way. I've been a customer for years. I usually have an average experience. However, I had a manicure the other day which was not a professional manicure. My nails are not an even length, polish was apparently old. I even told the lady it didn't look right and I didn't like the color. She continued with putting it on me. My pedicure did include a scrub and lotion in my legs. However, it was not a very soothing-type of massage that is expected for a pedicure. We were not offered anything to drink. The cost was reasonable. However when I got home I noticed the polish on my toes was not done well. Polish was not close to edges and put on thinly and sparingly. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful! All of their options for pedicures are great but I chose the Luxury at $65 and it was worth every penny and more. The staff is all so friendly and accommodating. They welcome you when you walk through the door. There are beverages available including coffee, wine, water, and Diet Coke. My pedicure was nothing short of amazing. It included a nice glass of white wine, rose petals, hot towels, a mud mask, and an glorious 12 minute message that felt like 30 minutes! I really felt like she took her time with me and did a quality job of grooming and messaging my feet. Janet took care of my dead skin, and cuticles and really messaged my feet like she KNEW I HAD A LONG DAY!!I've never felt more pampered at a nail salon! They have a permanent customer with me.
