MY boyfriend and I went in last night and normally we always have a good experience here but today that wasn't the case. There was a guy working there last night that was being completely weird to us. He was white with dirty blonde hair. We asked for 2 brownies, and 4 cookies and a pint of ice cream. First off he tells us what was in the case was all they had left but I asked for a brownie and he seemed irritated I asked for a brownie and said well how many. Then we ask for 2 of the flavor of the months only got one but was charged for 2. Then I ask for a pint of ice cream, he most definitely heard me because he stared at me for a minute when I asked but then doesn't ring it in, and when I tell him and a pint of ice cream he said oh I didn't ring it in. Our order wasn't boxed like we normally get it was thrown in two small open bags. There was a girl that came in after and he was completely nice to her boxed her cookies in a nice box. I sent the cookies to my sister as a birthday present. It was supposed to arrive on 12/06/24. It wasn't until December 6 that I had to go back on the app and track it to see that they wouldn't be delivered until 12/10/24. I was disappointed because I had them set to arrive on the 6th. The cookies were great she said, however, I was completely dissatisfied with the communication. I had to go in the site and keep digging and clicking on things to find my answers. There was no communication between us. I never even knew that the cookies were delivered. I just so happened to stumble upon something that let me know. Love this place! Always clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming I'm always greeted when I come in and even if they're busy in the back they let me know they will be with me. I was there the day before thanksgiving and even though there was a lobby full of people the ladies were efficiently helping us and constantly asking who had pickup orders so we didn't have to wait long. Well well well! I've finally decided to give these treats a try!! I have to put a warning that these were bought for me so therefore it might have tasted better being that it was free hahah! But man these were pretty good cookies!! I tried the white chocolate almond I think and a normal chocolate chip! The white chocolate was very good! Good flavor! Chewy! Delicious. I saw a number of reviews that discussed the service so wanted to come give some feedback on the amazing service I had last night. Went in 15-20 mins before close and asked if that was all of the stuffed cookies left since it was why I came by (to try them). I asked only to purchase whatever was left if that was what was still in the case (I mean they were closing in 15 mins so if there were none left, who am I to be upset?!). Anyway, the very nice lady working apologized and said yes, that's all we have, but I can make you some fresh ones if you'd like. I got a dozen to go because we had just ate lunch. I ate the oatmeal raisin one at room temperature and it was so good. I later at the peanut butter and chocolate chip with pecan warm. Put it in the microwave for a few seconds and boom you got a taste cookie. The only con is that the chocolate chip pecan cookie didn't have enough pecans. Hands down, best cookies I've had. We got an assortment to try and each one was absolutely delicious. Our favorite was the white chocolate almond, which was made to perfection! They also have oatmeal cookies with chocolate chip instead of raisins! The lovely person who rang us up asked if we wanted them warmed, then packaged the cookies and added a blue ribbon which was a nice touch. They deliver and don't accept cash btw. I will give a 1 star because it was clean. That's about it. I went in to order the Conner man package. I walk in and informed that you must order on line to get the package. Okay, I go to proceed. The girl is like it'll take a while. What's the point in in a brick and mortar store to order if you can get the special? The worker was so rude and not caring. I turned around and wAlked out. Not impressed at all. I can go home and make my own cookies just as good. Just sad I couldn't help donate to Conner! Like many other post the service in the store are awful. We walked to a locked front door (street side). Don't panic. The back entrance faces the parking lot. This is a take out / delivery place that's clean and friendly. It was hard to decide! We chose ready made cookies - peanut butter, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin. They heated them for us. My fave was oatmeal raisin. All were good. No waxy or oily taste. Peanut butter tasted like peanuts. Chocolate chips were rich and chocolatey. Milk was fresh and cold. Who doesn't love warm cookies and cold milk?! Note to self, bring a friend to split a brownie. My son was sent a gift of ice cream. Very sweet gift sent by a friend. Unfortunately, the delivery driver drove 30 minutes from the Tiff's Treats location to our home while the outside temp was over 100. He then kindly placed the gift bag on our front porch at 6:30 PM without knocking or ringing our doorbell. We went outside 2 hours later to find a nice melted pint of ice cream. I contacted Tiff's via phone but unfortunately they have a call center in Austin. There is no way to reach the location in the Houston Heights to let them know what occurred other than driving there. The call center basically said oh we need to find a way to keep the ice cream cold. There was no offer to resend the gift and I had to ask them to kindly refund the money to the friend who sent the gift. Poor execution and poor customer service. read more
