However, the two times I have brought my son here, there is music blaring loudly. My son has sound sensitivity and cannot handle it. I also made the mistake of bringing him on a day that schools were closed and it was complete chaos. After he was knocked over by a kid on a zip line, we left and never returned. Again, I love the idea of this place and want the business to succeed. I just want it to be more accommodating to kids across the spectrum.

My kid loves coming, and I truly feel the staff gives their all. Now, the spectator section... that's a whole other show. Walk through the front door, and the entitlement practically wafts in like an expensive perfume. Some parents (and babysitters) seem to think we're in a luxury country club in the Hamptons, not a kids' gym. The swing comes out, and suddenly it's: "Oh, sweetie, you want the blue one? Don't worry, mommy will make sure you get it." Meanwhile, I plop my kid on whatever swing is available because, newsflash, there's a limited number and this is not the Hunger Games. Then there are the babysitters -- many apparently hired for their Olympic-level scrolling skills. They're on their phones more than they're looking at the kids, ignoring posted policies like "wear socks" and "no drinks on the floor." Bottom line: coaches -- great. Some parents and sitters -- a masterclass in what not to do. Come for the great play, stay for the unintentional comedy.

An even larger room has a little town with dress up, toys, and even a mail carrier. I'd liken this room to something you'd see in a children's museum: very well stocked and full of possibility. The kids at this party, around 2-6 years old, had a great time. The party room is huge. As a guest, I'm not familiar with what was supplied versus brought in by the family, but the team did a good job bringing out pizza and getting the kids to dance. There's a private lot a block away but also ample street parking. Just be sure to check signs for street permit parking to avoid a ticket.

Being on top of the bowling alley, this give kids and family extra time together (or separate if the kids go play by themselves while the parents bowl, which seems to be the case here). There are a great deal of inflatable bounce houses and one giant obstacle course, a ropes tower with a slide, rock wall, some arcade games, and a few birthday party rooms. For two kids to play for 1 1/2 hours was $24 total. Seemed like a pretty good deal considering there's no other place quite like this and it keeps the kids active and happy. It is dingy and there are quite a few broken arcade games that they just decide that they're never going to fix (I've been here a few times). You pay 25-50 cents per game or a dollar to play air hockey, basketball, or a motorcycle game. There are no tickets so you're really only playing to have fun, not win prizes. There is a coin machine (it's slow) to give you quarters for the games. During my most recent visit, the basketball machine broke on us so that was interesting. Other than the rinky dink "arcade" (which is kind of just scattered around the bounce houses), this is a fun place with plenty of room for the kids to run around.
