The staff were super friendly and helpful to both my daughters who are on the younger side (5 and 8). They were even conscientious enough to notice that I could not go on all the courses with both of them given their age difference and the owner (Lori) offered to watch my younger daughter for a short period of time so I could help my older daughter. This exhilarating zip line and ropes course is perfect for all ages! Plus, it's just an hour's ride from NYC. I had been longing to come to this park for a while now, but I was worried it would be too easy. I mostly only read reviews of kids doing it, but there's varying difficulty level of courses. There's 4 main colors: yellow for beginner, green for intermediate, blue for advanced, and black for experts. The green was a good warm up before going into the blue, and then the black course was the most challenging yet rewarding. You will have a good upper body workout as my arms were so sore after the black! D: It's advertised a lot as for kids, but it's demanding and enjoyable even for adults! read more

Courses range from easy to difficult. I'm not an athletic person and was able to complete the green course so in other words there is a corse for everyone . There are so many courses to choose from . When I was on a school trip there there was one lady that was being really rude and I did not know her name. but she was being really rude and she was screaming at us, especially my friend because he was scared. see up on yelling at us saying are you gonna go? Are you gonna go when we were literally scared and we couldn't do anything and she got so mad at us so other than that the park is nice. This place was amazing. From the phone call I made to see if I could get squeezed in the same day (was told to just split the group between 2 time shots...duh), to the easy check in process, to the kind and helpful staff, and the free water stations ....I don't think I could have asked for anything better. There was tons of staff around, walking the grounds and paying attention to everyone climbing. There was a few courses down, I was told because lack of staff, but there was still plenty to do. Also staff made sure to avoid too many hold ups on the selected courses. We were having so much fun we didn't even realize we ended up staying there about 30 min over our time and no one rudely kicked us off. Definitely make sure to wear comfortable, workout type clothes. You'll need to be very agile. And you will get an upper body workout especially if you hit the blue or higher. But it was so much fun and we'll definitely be back. My only recommendation is to get bigger signage when entering the campus. It was very easy to miss and that along with gps navigating to the wrong location, we ended up at a dorm. read more

My son and I had a really fun time here. The tree courses we were allowed to go on weren't too strenuous. Since my son is 8 he was limited to only l yellow and green courses. On that day they were only three green courses. We spent about 2 hours doing three greens and one yellow. I love the fact it's self guided and you can clip in and out at your own leisure. You should book ahead of time to save some money and also bring your own gloves. Go early to avoid the heat and the crowds read more

Boundless Adventures is SO FUN! The first time I visited was due to a Yelp Event, however from there I just kept coming back and seeking out other zip-lining courses from NJ to Kentucky. The crew was very knowledgeable, and very friendly - prior to hitting the course they help you put on all your gear and walk you through demo's of how to use them. Unfortunately throughout the course they are not following you nor available on each platform in case you get a brain fart, but if you peak down from the platform you're standing on there are numerous crew members on the floor to help talk you through anything. Personally I enjoyed the fact that there are different course types, instead of just one. There are 9 courses in total to choose from, including 3 yellow, 3 green, 2 blue, and 1 black course (in order of difficulty). To do the ultimate black, you need to have done a blue, and before a blue, the green. Honestly this is a great spring/summer/early fall outing for friends and families. Wow wow wow. I really cannot express more how much we enjoyed our stay here. We came as a school in two grade cohorts, and were taken care of so wonderfully by the Boundless Adventure crew. Tucked away not too far from the city, it was a great chance to get away into the "outdoors" while we're still in the the thicket of the pandemic. The crew was very knowledgeable, well-trained, and were very student/kid friendly. I felt very safe and secure knowing that they were there to help in case anything went wrong. In fact, when we had two medical incidents, they were very quick to act and assist. This was made even more impressive that most of the staff is made of students from SUNY Purchase. There are 4 different types of courses across the Purchase, NY park, with varying degrees of difficulty. There are 9 courses in total to choose from, including 3 yellow, 3 green, 2 blue, and 1 black course (in order of difficulty). To do the ultimate black, you need to have done a blue, and before a blue, the green. The courses were challenging, but so so fun. They included "elements" (ie. obstacles) that include "Faith Leaping" and ziplining. You choose at your own pace and are never forced to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Honestly, I cannot rave enough about what a positive experience this was. I highly recommend and will be visiting again soon with my friends. This would be great for a work retreat, a family outing, reunion, etc. read more

I came here as part of a Yelp Elite Event. I came with my husband and friends and received a trial course. After our first run around the course, we had to buy the full pass and had a great time! The introduction was quick, informative, and interactive. A newbie like me was up to speed and ready to adventure after only a few minutes of instruction. I proceeded to practice these skills just minutes later and was ready to head down my 1st zipline. Wow! It was scary and I was sure I would fall but the views were totally worth it. Safety is a big first priority for all of the staff here. Everyone is really attentive and on the lookout for people who are doing unsafe behavior whether purposefully or inadvertently. When some of the younger kids were ziplining without using their hands to secure their grip, the staff called them out on it. Also, when I was stuck on an "element", the staff gave me tips after I asked them: "Just jump!" "Are you sure? Really, really sure?" "Yes!" As you can read here, I am somehow still alive and not ghostwriting this review. A big part of that is due to the dedication of the staff. PS: The only complaint I have is minor stuff, like the staff members not all communicating with each other. My 10 yr old son and I had a great time. General admissions give u 3 hrs of climbing. It's kind of weird that it's located within a college campus. Just follow the signs. The beginner level was low to the ground and a little too easy for my 10 yr old. The intermediate level up was just about right in terms of height and challenge. The advance level was a bit of a struggle for him, but should be very doable for an adult. There was one course where u hook yourself to rope and jump straight down off a platform. That was scary for even me. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the expert level. I definitely want to go back again. read more

I have to say I worked with Lorrie, the owner of Boundless, to book a school adventure; she was very professional and helpful. On the day of our trip, we had to keep an eye on the sky, I was in contact the morning of the trip with the staff, and we had blue skies. So we prepared to head to Purchase. Once we arrived, the staff was so helpful and efficient in preparing the students for their climb. Unfortunately, the rain started, and the staff alerted me there were storms in the area, so we had to suspend our adventure. The staff was on it, getting our students out of harnesses quickly. They were all about safety first. We got our students onto buses, and we waited briefly for further instructions. Unfortunately, they had to call it since storms were still in the area. They informed me, and I was informed I would hear back from Lorrie to rebook our trip. I am pleased to say she reached out to me to rebook, and our students are excited to go back. read more

BE CAREFUL! THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT CHILDREN! JUST HARNESSING AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO MAKE THE MOST OF THEIR OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!. I went here with a friend and our 8 year old children. For myself and daughter its was $120 for 3hrs. Thats 40$ a hr to climb trees in a harness. We went thru all the safety instructions ( given to us by a teenager). We then continued to test our skills of unhooking and hooking our safety lines with no observing or proper hands on instruction by any staff. Some people even just continued on ahead. When we got to the first area to choose our course we chose the easiest level being with young kids. My daughter was a bit scared but she began to conquer it. About 30 mins in a terrified group of children began screaming for their parents down below on another course adjacent to us. They began their infamous call out as directed by the staff " HELP HELP HELP" but no one could hear them. We tried to tell the kids it would be okay but frantic as they were they kept on screaming. Myself and the other mother agreed we would begin yelling "HELP HELP HELP, WE NEED HELP HELP" and yet no one came. WE continued on the course with our own kids to try and find a area where a staff member would be in their orange shirts and saw 2 staff only at the front. Now my daughter began to panic when it came time to zip line as terror began to break out throughout the park so I went first to ensure I could get help but kids were blocking that platform already with 5 of them on it. We began to notice their was over 40 people in the air climbing without a single staff member in sight and all the landing platforms began filling with over 3 people. Soon we were on a landing with 7 people, I mean frantic screaming kids, one of my own and 4 other peoples kids. We sent my friends daughter ( thank god shes a brave girl) to finish the course alone to get help after its was 45 mins of screaming. She had to run all the way to the check in booth screaming and waving arms "we need help" before anyone noticed her. Now stuck on a landing with 3 kids not my own and my friend with my daughter and 5 girls (not her own) screaming stuck on another platform with all tied up lines. It took 37 mins to get a staff member to us after a 8 year old got us help. AND after actually getting a staff member up there it took another 29 mins for them to untether the line and lower 1 kid down 3 feet. If I had a knife on me I would of cut the line and jumped the 3 feet myself instead for this unnecessary charade. As this is all going on 7 other kids had to be assisted throughout the park and I captured images of the chaos while waiting on the course. After de harnessing I then went looking for a manger/supervisor/ pretty much anyone in charge and I was told by a staff member de harnessing me "good luck finding one". SO, I called the number on the internet, complained to the girl that you have no one here managing and what had just happened. She told me to ask for these 3 people and they were they staff on duty in charge. I then explained to her I was physically in the park and that I would be asking for these 3 managers in particular on this day. She said " yes they are suppose to be on duty right now" . Asked around to 5 staff where they harness you up that had over 17 staff getting people in harnesses and more than 20 people being harnessed in to unleash on a course that had 4 staff members on the ground, but none of the 3 managers were no where to be found. Went to the front desk not there. So i walked to the parking lot sat outside their staff restroom area and called again. " O I am so sorry I will let them know and have someone come to you to speak to you as well as having the owner call you. " 2 hrs later nothing, no managers showed , no call from Lorrie & Brian Funtleyder ( the owners), no one. So we packed up and left and drove our hr home. I have zip lined in the treetops of Brazil, forests in Mexico, courses in Germany never have I seen such a reckless bunch of teenagers running a show like this. On 98 degree day we waited over a hr and a half for help on the ropes, 2 hrs in parking lot for a manager to show or owner to call for help which is dangerous to say the least but the one thing that made it so very dangerous that clearly no one grasps working or managing this facility is: WHEN SOMEONE IS IN FEAR ( much less their a parent with their child ) YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY WILL DO. Boundless adventures offer a total of 9 courses of aerial climbing. 3 yellow -beginners 3 green -intermediate 2 blue -advanced 1 black -pro There are about 12 obstacles per course and about 15 zip lines in total. There is a registration cabin to receive wristbands and you walk down towards the outdoor adventure. There is a section to get your harness, select gloves and an instructional demo on how to properly operate your gear. There is also a section where you can practice locking, and unlocking your hooks and clips. Pushing your limits is the game here, no early finishers even though with every wobbly step I took I wanted to give up because it seriously was deathly terrifying. The elevated conditions working in our favor, one person per course and away from distraction, blazing sun with a comfy breeze gave the perfect environment for the tracks ahead. Tickled with nerves, and the shakiness of free flying, high up in the trees with a birds' eye view can be liberating sprinkled with a good dose of fear factor as you navigate some tricky wood work meant for you to zig zag across while balancing on planks, wires and logs. Don't you dare close your eyes...savor every breath-taking moment. Gotta take that first step. I went on the green course first. If zip lining didn't get your heart racing, my next go around I went on the blue course. You've got to channel your inner Tarzan for one bit of the obstacle where you lunge across from tree to tree hanging from a rope...just a rope aka jungle. I kid you not. My "roar" was a far cry from Tarzan's though I made it to the other side. But what was waiting for me at the very end, they dubbed "leap of faith". Goodness goodness ohhhh my goodness...I was such a wreck because I spent 10* mins hugging the tree. I just couldn't do it. I struggled with jumping because they expected me to *gasp* "leap" off the 40' tree sans any planks, balancers, wires or logs or anything. Like "leap" straight down. Oh dear goodness...Hahahaha!!! I did in the end but my heart felt like it jumped out of my body. 3 seconds after the "leap of faith" I felt the resistance and it was reassuring and embarrassing because it suddenly felt silly for deliberating over something so safe and eventually uneventful. (Lmao) Though only my son had the gusto to attempt and complete the black course, I feel so accomplished in facing my fears and pushing my limits. This was a great test of stamina and endurance and balance and confidence and part insanity. We have a new appreciation for mother nature's outdoor playground as we zipped through the obstacles hanging for dear life. Sooo much fun, I couldn't stop trembling!! My husband says he was reminded how difficult it is to climb up top, balance and keep up to speed with his teenage children but was very pleased to have participated in this outdoor activity and be able to bond with us over this crazy activity. He is beyond happy he is in one piece (minus the day after all over soreness) to celebrate Father's Day weekend with us. Lolz..... We came here for the yelp event. It was great! We had gone to another outdoor treetop zipline course and this location was better. More courses and better layout. Location/Place: - Took us about an hour from Queens to get to (very minor traffic conditions) - Parking lot on site, where the registration is set up - Great layout where you can see all the different courses available - Picnic tables available, so it is great for groups. We saw a couple of groups of children. But the area is large enough that we didn't feel crowded or bothered by the other groups. Staff: - Friendly and great energy level. Spend time living on the line while hanging from the trees. Our fire department coordinated a FUN, team building, adventure activity at Boundless Adventures and we had an AWESOME time. The obstacle courses were exciting, challenging, truly heart racing fun as we flew over the tops of the trees. We love this place. It's a rambling course of obstacles, zip lines and beautiful scenery in the middle of the woods. My daughter first came here at 7, now at 8 she's a pro! She's still not old enough to do all the levels so we still have more challenges to look forward to. This is a unique experience, unlike the mall climbs we've done. It's rewarding on so many levels from overcoming fears to adrenaline rushes. Her father normally does this with her, and they both come home so animated over their day, every time. We recently went with a group of 25 friends/families and did a Glow in the Park event at night, was so much fun. This is great for a date, a family day, a birthday or a group event. This was such an incredible experience. I came here with my daughter for a Yelp Elite Event. We had way too much fun making our way across the green course. The staff was very friendly. The instructions helped us build confidence in our ability to complete the course. Before starting, you get the opportunity to practice using the latches. In addition to this being fun, the course is nestled in a beautiful part of Purchase. What a wonderful way to enjoy the great outdoors. My wife found this place and I'm glad she did, just 25 mins away from our home. On the purchase college campus, there is plenty of parking and restrooms (nicer, bigger port a potties) in the lot. The allow walk ins but reservations are required and also save you time so you could fill out the waivers online. Once you've done that you get a sticker and bring it to the staff to get fitted for your harness, after that you get a quick safety course which is simple enough but very important. After that you go up to the main area where all the courses start, the difficulty goes from yellow to green to blue and finally black, each progressively higher, each color has multiple courses except for black which only has one. We did nearly all of them except the black because we were exhausted. The courses are challenging but do able, I consider myself to be in decent shape and after 3 hours I could feel myself struggling, I did see some people having to be helped down in some areas if they couldn't finish, the guides are on the ground keeping an eye on people, they are helpful in guiding you if needed. There are picnic tables and lockers available for rental so you could bring food, there is a pizzeria nearby that delivers to the course so that's convenient too. Boundless Adventures is Amazing! My son and his friends had the best time there for his birthday party. It is a perfect place for a party since the kids are all outside and the ropes course keeps them spread out away from other groups. The people there are very friendly and helpful. Lorrie, the owner, is fabulous - she communicates well and is so easy to work with. We had scheduled a party in March 2020 that we obviously had to postpone, and Lorrie worked with us to reschedule the party as soon as it was safe to do so. And the climbing staff at the park was very patient and helped the younger kids keep up with the faster ones. The climbing courses were tons of fun for the younger kids and the older ones. They Loved the zip lines and have been begging to go back again as soon as possible! From an over-protective parent's standpoint, the experience felt very safe. The harnesses are sturdy and well made so it was easy for the kids to move themselves along from one section of the course to the next while staying safely attached. I organized a bachelorette party there for 15 women of varying ability - from absolute novice (me), to experienced climber - and EVERYONE was able to participate, and had a BLAST! The 4 course levels insure that everyone will enjoy themselves. This place is AMAZING. We went for our first time today and bought the 2-hour package with the gloves. The tutorial went a bit fast, but we figured it out once we got started. My 8 year old daughter, her friend and I spent the day climbing and laughing through this incredible course 30 minutes from Manhattan. The different levels dependent on age all seemed appropriate as the kids would not have been able to do the toughest course. From zipline to crawling through wooden tunnel the kids were all smiles. It's totally safe, as you are wearing a harness and are teathered into a safety line. You navigate your way through nine different courses of different difficulty levels. Came here with my 8yr old daughter, her friend; my wife, my 12 yr old son and 5 of his friends. Good time had by all. Make sure you join your kids doing the courses. Great confidence builder. Great way to keep the kids off of Fortnite. Well priced, well staffed, all-around A+. We've been to a similar park in Bridgeport and this one is just as good if not better. We went on a weeknight; it was empty which was great. Anyone 8 yrs old and up (including all parents) should give this place a try! Enjoy! P.S. My wife was the only one out of any of us to get thru the Black Diamond (I wouldn't even try) and all the boys had to quit and get lowered down 1/2 way through. What an experience I had at Boundless Adventures!!! A group of us went there on 7/6/2021 and we can't stop talking about how much fun we had. We can't wait to go back and try more courses! First off booking was so easy. The staff are so helpful! The owner, Lorrie, personally helped get our group booked. You really get the sense that she and her staff want everyone to have a great time. Confirmations and receipts seamless go right to email. Online waivers are cinch and super easy. Just make sure to hit the check box for climb time. When you arrive, you park right on the SUNY Purchase campus. Signs are everywhere to direct you. Head over to registration to check in. Very quick because they already had all our info. Then we got in line to have the staff put on our harnesses. Now I'm in the fire service and was very impressed with the quality of their equipment. Firefighters use bailout systems to jump out of buildings. Boundless uses higher quality equipment than us! You know right away this was going to be safe. After harnessing, you go to the safety demo. The staff member, Harrison, who looks like a red-headed Tarzan, was so thorough and helpful. He continued to look out after our group while on the courses to make sure we were okay. The courses are color coded by difficulty. Yellow- easiest. Green- easy- med. Blue- med. Black- most challenging. Our group mostly started on the green course. Now I don't have a fear of heights but they're not my favorite. I was able to get over the initial anxiety pretty quickly because there's no way you can ever fall. You are always clipped in! Very safe! It was so fun going through the various elements. Whoever designed the course was very creative. The staff was around to offer tips to make things a little easier. Wow wow wow. I really cannot express more how much we enjoyed our stay here. We came as a school in two grade cohorts, and were taken care of so wonderfully by the Boundless Adventure crew. Tucked away not too far from the city, it was a great chance to get away into the "outdoors" while we're still in the the thicket of the pandemic. The crew was very knowledgeable, well-trained, and were very student/kid friendly. I felt very safe and secure knowing that they were there to help in case anything went wrong. In fact, when we had two medical incidents, they were very quick to act and assist. This was made even more impressive that most of the staff is made of students from SUNY Purchase. There are 4 different types of courses across the Purchase, NY park, with varying degrees of difficulty. There are 9 courses in total to choose from, including 3 yellow, 3 green, 2 blue, and 1 black course (in order of difficulty). To do the ultimate black, you need to have done a blue, and before a blue, the green. The courses were challenging, but so so fun. They included "elements" (ie. obstacles) that include "Faith Leaping" and ziplining. You choose at your own pace and are never forced to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Honestly, I cannot rave enough about what a positive experience this was. I highly recommend and will be visiting again soon with my friends.
