Nice area to play baseball and kids friendly playground that clearly states that parents must be supervising the kiddies at all times . There is a elementary school steps from the park which is closed now due to the coronavirus mess which explains no little brats running around. Not a big park but it's spacious enough for folks to bring the kids , play a little baseball , have a no grilling picnic or just enjoy being outdoors when weather permits .

They offer field trips, summer camps, and birthday parties, as well as special members-only events such as tie-dye activities and live butterfly releases. Walking the grounds is free, and parking is also free. Admission to the live animal museum is approximately $7 per person, but be sure to check their website, as prices may change from time to time. It feels like a nice oasis in lower Westchester.

I cannot stress how delightful that is, especially in the summer. There's an area of musical instruments, which I've seen at a handful of other playgrounds, but, again, it's in pretty great shape here. The sand area is relatively clean. At least for now! It's also close to downtown in case you have any errands you need to do on your way.

There are musical instruments, swings and multiple structures to climbs, as well as a small sand park area. Many of the structurs have ages printed on them. I would suggest that parents definitely watch smaller kids on some of the structures so they don't hurt themselves. There's a structure with rolling pieces and I would definitely see a kid falling and hurting themselves or getting a finger pinched while moving across. The swingset has swings for different stages and abilities which I love. People form the community gave back to build this wonderful park and it's a great addition to the neighborhood. Be careful walking across the street. The multiple stop signs make drivers impatient and they speed up almost as if to scare you out of the way, despite rushing to another stop sign.

Also was told that park was updated and renovated a few years back courtesy of the White plains tax payers .

Amazing place! Such a great park…read more I was looking for a place with water views and found the Scenic Hudson Park. It was such an incredible find! The park is large with lots of benches and space to sit or lay right on the water. There is lots of shade; there are many, many trees here. There is a new basketball court, flowers, benches, places to play and lay in the grass, etc. I love this place! It was quiet and refreshing. I would most definitely come back here!

A lovely park. I was there a close by a few years ago but I was a little further up north where…read morethere was a park path alongside the water, Pierson Park I believe. Pierson is also a nice park that has some tennis and basketball courts there, but back to Losee Park. I returned this weekend to take some photos of the bridge and sunset. I was pleasantly surprised to find the actual park (Losee). There are a few large parking lots. The signs posted prior to entry have a bunch of rules and regulations about parking, but weekends seem to be free for all to park. There were a two baseball fields there. I noticed there were a few cookouts going on there as well. An overall great experience. I left just as the sun was going down, but I hope to return for some evening pictures of the bridge. The views of the Hudson River and the Tappan Zee bridge are spectacular, especially at sunset. I also had a tired fiance and 4 year old, so I did not get to explore much, I will be sure to do so and report back once I have done so. As with any park near water, be mindful of the bugs, you will get bitten.
