After the tech lost my oil cap during service I drove out of their parking lot to have every service light on my Lexus light up. Sent my Lexus to a certified tech to get another $100+ bill because the diagnostic settings were tampered with and not set properly by AFL. They refuse to return calls or accept responsibility for their mistakes. I do not recommend any females use this mechanic as they take advantage if you are not knowledgeable about cars. Using this "quick lube" location cost me over $200 for what should have been a simple oil change because their techs are not certified or trained properly.

Luckily he is smart enough to not give the go ahead before talking to me or his dad. We both said to wait and we will look at it. That it being back brakes on a front wheel drive Honda crv he must likely would be fine until we could check them. My boyfriend looked at them the following weekend after purchasing new brakes. They still had about 90 % life to them. So beware of your college kids going to these areas. They are obviously aware a lot of kids these days have minimal knowledge of vehicles and may not have a support person they can consult with locally.

I agreed to the repair based on how the service is described on their website, which states that compressor replacements are typically performed using a kit that includes the compressor, accumulator (drier), and any needed expansion components. After the compressor was installed, the system did not operate correctly. The pressure readings indicated a restriction in the system. During the repair, the accumulator/drier and expansion valve were not replaced. When I raised this concern, I was informed that replacing those components was not part of the original scope of work and was quoted an additional $1,400 to complete those repairs. From my understanding, those components are commonly addressed as part of a complete A/C repair and are also referenced in the service description on the shop's website. Throughout the discussion, I made it clear that I was not trying to avoid paying for the work performed, but rather wanted the repair completed in a way that would result in a properly functioning system. At times, it was difficult to fully communicate my concerns, and there was some disagreement regarding the information I was referencing. I clarified that my understanding was based on the shop's own website. Ultimately, we were unable to come to an agreement on how to proceed. The shop removed the newly installed compressor, reinstalled my original unit, and returned the vehicle to me at no charge. I do appreciate that I was not billed and that the shop was willing to reverse the work. However, the A/C system remains unresolved, and there was a disconnect between how the compressor replacement service is described and what was performed in my case.

My son's vehicle was taken to Ray's in late August following a serious accident. The initial repair…read moreestimate provided to USAA was approximately $9,000. To date, insurance has paid Ray's almost $17,000, yet the truck remains incompletely repaired. The estimated repair time was also significantly inaccurate, resulting in substantial rental fees, as we were forced to rent a replacement vehicle on a daily basis due to repeated delays and miscommunication. When the truck was initially returned approximately six weeks later, the following issues had not been properly addressed: Pinstripe did not match Tail light chipped Paint chips above the front chrome bumper Tailgate was only attached by cables (unsafe for use) Rear differential locked, causing grinding noises when turning Large plastic piece left in the truck bed Gap in the front panel After the truck was returned to Ray's for an additional week, these items were corrected. However, the front tire still does not hold air. Ray's has stated the tire was not damaged in the accident and that they observed no issues during the six weeks they had the vehicle. However, the vehicle's app documents multiple instances of low tire pressure that were corrected during that period. Based on our experience, I strongly advise seeking another repair shop. Ray's demonstrated poor communication, misrepresentation, and substandard workmanship. I believe my son was taken advantage of due to his status as a college student and because he was limited to their services through USAA's repair network

Once again, the folks at Franklin showed why they have such loyal customers, including me. I showed…read moreup at the end of the day with a dead battery. They were very busy. It would have been easy to tell me they were full and that I'd need to come back tomorrow. Instead, David listened to my story, took the keys and went to check it out. The battery tested fine, of course. He could have left it at that and sent me on my way. Instead, he looked around the battery and noticed what seemed to be a loose connection. As he thought about it, he noticed the battery was a bit askew. He came back in to tell me what was wrong and that he had ordered the replacement part to secure the battery and fix the connection. 20 minutes later, he handed me my keys, refusing to charge me a dime, and told me to have a good day. As I stood there incredulously, he said he thought they should have noticed it at my last visit, 2 months ago. Of course they should not have. It probably wasn't loose then. However, it is self effacing, compassionate and detailed service that sets Franklin apart from most businesses. It is why I tell everyone about them. In the end, it is why I keep going back.

One of the employees there at Wal-Mart auto center highly recommended Gateway Tire & Automoive just down the street. I had AAA tow my truck there after I saw good reviews on them on my phone. When the tow truck driver took me and my truck there they were very busy, I explained that I was just passing thru and don't have any friends nearby to help me as I didn't plan on anything more than sleeping here last night and continuing on my journey. They got me right in, figured out what I needed and fixed for less than I anticipated and had me down the road within a few hours. I highly recommend this place.
