6/19 at 7am, I wanted a kolach today. . walked in they had limited pastries on display. So I asked the cashier how fresh they were. She said, some were baked yesterday and probably today. then the baker came out to check them and I ask him about the apple kolache, he said it was from yesterday. Despite my better judgement, I bought it. I took one bit and tossed in trash and ended up at a donut store. PITAFUL, this thing was more than one day old. read more

While I like the variety of natural, whole foods that they offer, I hate the prices. Way too expensive, especially since I can now find some of the same things at nearby HEB for a lot cheaper. However, I do appreciate the fact that they are here, so I don't have to drive to Fort Worth to pick up Vital Wheat Gluten, coconut milk ice cream, etc. I would easily give them four stars if the prices were cheaper. They also have a food grill that offers a variety for meat-eaters. When I used to be one, I would get the gyro. Heaven! It was delicious. I just wish that they offered food for vegans. Overall, if you are out of a specialty item that you can't get at the grocery store, chances are that you will find it Tiger Farms Market - at a price. read more

At first glance, this place looks like an average gas station with a few produce goods thrown in. But if you actually look around they have the largest most diverse selection of foods and drinks (alcoholic and non) in all of Burleson. They also have a sub shop that bakes foods also, they have many foods which they prepare daily, like mixed granola and fruits, salsa, desserts, pies, everything is always clean and neat. They also have a huge selection of vegetarian and organic foods. I would recommend this to any community or health conscience person. AND IT'S OPEN 24/7!! read more

Tiger Farms Market - the exterior of the store - Farmers Market Near Me - Burleson, Texas

I bought three small items. The cashier placed said items in a plastic bag and I told him, "Oh I don't need a bag." Then I watched him wad up that bag and put it in the trash can. I could not believe it! In a state of confusion, I asked him, "You just threw that bag in the trash?" He didn't seem to find anything wrong with it. At that point I asked him to just give me the bag (at least I could REUSE OR RECYCLE it!). As he gave it to me he mumbled, "Well it would be pretty crappy to give another customer a bag that was wadded up." The guy had WADDED IT UP WHILE HE WAS THROWING IT AWAY! Poor customer service and poor professionalism and extremely wasteful. I won't be back. read more

Friendliest people I've ever met in Texas, I wish I lived down the block so I could visit them every day. They were so sweet to me after I walked almost 2 miles to get my coffee in the morning and realized I had forgotten my credit card. I agree that this is like a mini whole foods attached to a gas station. It is open 24 hours which is nice when you don't want to venture into walmart for something you desperately need. Selection is all natural/organic products, most of the meat is frozen but nice local brands, and produce is usually fresh and decently priced. Packaged items are very high priced, but there are some things you can find here that are not anywhere else. A small place like this does not have the buying power for low competitive prices. They have a bulk selection and have some specialty beverages. Also a lot of vegan/vegetarian stuff. Great gluten free selection, especially in frozen items. If you need a specialty natural food or vitamin product they probably have it here. I stop by periodically but it is not on my usual shopping rounds. read more

Me and my woman were roaming around town and stumbled upon this place.i have to say its a pretty cool little place. It has a little something for everyone. Produce, meat, spices,candy, beer,soda,food,little nick knacks and souvenirs. the only thing I didn't like about this place were some of their prices. They can be a little steep. The rumors are true...this place is Exxon meets Whole Foods and not necessarily in a bad way. I love the convenience of it and knowing that if I am coming down with something and need some vitamins in the middle of the night I can go here. I however do not like the prices. I think that Whole Foods themselves might even be cheaper but I suppose that's the price you pay for convenience. read more

A really awesome mini-market/country store/gas station. I used to visit nearly everyday when I lived on Wilshire Blvd. In fact, I used to buy black bananas by the bag for $1 to make banana bread and pudding! The staff was always friendly and the store is just fun to shop at. read more

I stopped in here, because it looked clean and I needed to change the baby & take a break from driving... Unload baby, very impressed with size & selection of store. Go to the restrooms... Plenty of room for a baby changing table, but not one in site! It's 2015 if your going to have a store that size to accommodate the masses, a baby changing table is a gem of an idea! read more

Amazing little place. Great fresh produce. Organic grind your own peanut butter. Tons of coffee selections. Hommade hand pies.... So yummy!! Prices on something's are amazingly low and some are a bit high. But very convienient. Especially if u are looking for a healthy snack while you fill your gas tank. read more

The place and the convenience are great but some of the prices are an insult. I went there to buy MCT Oil and it was $10 more (twice as much for the actual oil) than what it cost to ship 2 day from an online bodybuilding company. They offer 20% off on Tuesday but still, if you can wait a couple days more to order online, you will pay the price. On a positive note, the service is great and they are always friendly. they carry a wide selection of organic healthy food and supplements. 3 stars. There's nothing quite like Tiger Farms Market in the area and that may be why they've jacked up some of the prices. They offer popular brands that you'd find at Whole Foods or Sprouts. I can understand the high prices for their organic food and health products but their non-organic generic brands are pricier than your neighborhood grocery store. Things I'd go back to Tiger Farms Market for: coconut milk ice cream, Texas praline bars, pro-biotic drinks, organic soaps and lotions, smoothies, yucca, novelty sodas and lemonades. There was also a sign for gluten-free sandwiches at the deli in the back. I'm curious to try the lunch offerings here. I may have to go back for that. read more

I have shopped at this market since it first opened and it was always pleasant and friendly...until recently. They are apparently under new management and the employees seem unhappy and distant when this guy is around...for the higher prices on things that I can get at HEB, I think I will take my business to HEB in the future! read more
