I'm STILL having the problem with the valve not staying down after flushing. Meanwhile the water is just running in the tank and I have to physically push it down after taking top off tank (every time)!!!!. The last gentleman told me my toilet is to old(2012) that's why it's not flushing properly.... I flushed the toilet to show him after he was Lollygagging on my property for an hour that it's not working he decided to gaslight( oh that's how you flush) me and left still with the same problem. Telling me I need to buy a new toilet and the reimburse me with the money I already paid. Unethical upselling practices! I scheduled them for furnace and plumbing to fix a pipe that busted and leaked when our furnace failed. We recently closed on our home and haven't even moved in yet. When two workers came for the furnace and found water, they cancelled themselves AND THE PLUMBER, refusing to help pump out the water unless I signed a contract for $7-14K in repairs right then. They wasted valuable time knowing that an upcoming severe freeze warning could cause further damage to my home. I immediately scheduled on line to have them come and pump out the water and there was same day availability. They cancelled my service call because I hadn't signed the contract, which they never even sent out. They were greedily trying to upsell me when I was under pressure and cost me valuable time. Called tiger plumbing to put a water line for a fridge ice maker. The technician Dustin asked to inspect pipes in crawlspace. He took pictures and showed me metal corroded pipes. He quoted a $15000 fix. I refused service and called another plumbing company. That technician also inspected the pipes in the crawlspace and showed me pictures of white clean pipes with zero corrosion. No leaks or damage. Repair was not needed. Tiger said they would email me the pictures but never did. I am glad I refused their work. Tiger is not a good company. read more

I called Tiger to look at my old air conditioner unit knowing that I needed to replace it. The tech came out. Then someone else had to come out and look at it and give me a quote. Well, the quote was just a cumulative price. There was no breakdown of costs. They wanted to charge me $10,000 for a new a/c unit and ac coil. I asked for a breakdown of costs twice and never received it. They wanted to get me serviced on Saturday, but I told them to follow up with me on Monday. They never followed up. This just goes to show that they are overcharging people for service because it is hot and people want their air fixed asap. They expect people to just go with their quote and not question anything and schedule the service once the quote was received. I would not recommend!! read more

After nearly 6 years as a Tiger customer, they called this morning to say they won't be out to work on my a\c( it was freezing up) as scheduled because they don't know how to work on Spacepak units and will no longer service it. If they couldn't handle it then they should have said so 6 years ago, the first time they sent a tech out to look at it. Yes Spacepak is difficult to work on, it's in a cramped attic, but had they been honest at the start I would have hired someone else and not had to pay their monthly subscription, money I could have spent on a company that know how to work on Spacepak systems. The techs that were here did what they could and I have no problem with them. Fortunately summer is almost over and I will find another company that knows Spacepak to fix my a\c and service the furnace when needed. I won't be recommending Tiger to any family or friends. read more

So I called Tiger heating and cooling. I explained what was wrong and they sent out an electrician that same day. The technician was very polite and showed up when he said he would be there. Within a half hour, he had my furnace back up and running. I would recommend this business for any of your household needs. read more

They came to clean our sewer and they broke their auger in our sewer and left it!! Did not tell us about it! When we needed for them to do our sewer again, the person who came out said" the person who did your sewer the last time broke his auger, but couldn't remember which house he was at. So, we need to get it out before I can do anything because I don't want to break mine. We have financing...." I told my husband no way are we paying them to remove their auger out of our sewer that they broke and left in there. We have called them everyday. Now they won't call us back after we spoke to them nicely about the matter and they said they would have to talk to the district manager. Don't let these clowns on your property. They "fixed" my water heater three times, and I still have water dripping all over the floor. Had a gas leak-- they talked me into replacing all the gas lines under my house. Ameren is here right now fixing two different gas leaks. One is a significant leak. Tiger missed both of them. I'm going to be paying on the home equity loan I took out to pay for all the work they did for the next ten years, and for what? I complained to them about it, and they give zero cares-- no effort to try to make anything right. Total scam artists. read more

If I could rate this company with a minus 1 star I would. Not only did the tech insist on being paid with a check BEFORE he even started, but he was caught on camera putting the item that WE purchased at a local hardware store, in the back of his van, along with the receipt. Pretended that he did not know what we were talking about, but he finally gave the receipt of purchase back to us. The second issue was that no only did the tech NOT know what he was doing, but he kept giving excuses as to why he could not install the product that they PREVIOUSLY said could be done in 15 or 20 minutes. Each time we called the company, we kept getting excuses about why no one has came out to do the job (even though a check was given to the tech). We called several times and were told that someone would be out the next day, called again, and told that someone would be out the next day, the next day, and finally told that no one was coming back to our home. I suppose this company only services a certain demographic of people that resemble their own skin color! My sewer backed up into my basement. I called tiger plumbing they stated they were going to be there that day before 5pm. They called and said they were running behind and would be a little late. No one called or showed up that evening. I called the next morning and they stated they would have someone there between 8am and 10am. They finally arrived at 1:30pm. They busted a water line and water was pouring into my basement. The young gentleman that was there couldn't find the shut Off to the main, so I now had water and sewage in my basement. They also broke through the main stack that I didn't notice until later, when I had someone else come fix everything. They didn't clean any of their mess and said they did the best they could. I missed two days of work and had to pay another Plumber to not only fix the things they broke but to fix the original issue. I don't suggest using them. read more

BEWARE OF TIGER Putting this PSA out there. I am normally a fairly easy-going person. But when a business is blatantly lying to customers, feel it is my duty to warn others. The AC on our son's house was not keeping up with the demand a couple of weeks ago. The coolest it was getting was 80 inside! He wasn't sure who to call, and neither was I (our guy retired). Wait, we have a warranty with Home Warranty of America. I placed the call online, but their system wouldn't let me place the call until I paid for another year, so I did. Three days later, still no response so I called HWA. "Oh, we couldn't find anyone in your area so it is up to YOU to get the repairs done. But wait... you can't just get them completed, you must fill out this form and submit it with the diagnosis and receive an approval before ANY work is done." So, HWA did not contact me, just put the ball in my court. No text, email, voice message, nothing. I had seen TIGER at a neighbors' house so suggested he call them. With a home warranty one would think all is going to be okay, right? Absolutely NOT! The technician from Tiger took pictures, pulled together a prospectus and proceeded to tell us everything that was wrong. He gave us six options for a repair... 6! The technician (Kevin) proceeds to tell us the following: "I know you're low on refrigerant, but there's no way to tell how much. I'm guessing half. The only way I can tell if there's a leak is to add a dye to the refrigerant. It does act like "fix-a-flat" so we might not be even able to see where that leak might be coming from. Also, your A-coil is sealed inside your inside unit. I would have to cut open your unit to inspect it. You really need a whole new system that will cost anywhere from $15-18K" he tells us, "but we can get it installed next week and we'll finance it and it will only cost you $150-200 per month.", (I was there for all of this). We were shocked. I picked an option for the repair, not a full replacement and said we needed to work with the home warranty company. The tech gets his manager on the phone I explained the who the warranty was through, we worked together to get the form up and he said he would fill the rest out. The warranty company said a response would be received within 15 minutes whether approved or denied. Of course... the repair is denied. The manager (Dan) calls me back says it's been denied and there's nothing they can do. Tells me to call HWA and complain, so I do. I'm told that the authorization department wants a leak test performed on the system using a leak detector tool, and a bubble test. I called Tiger's main phone, ask to speak with Dan so I can let him know what is needed. The person who answered the phone (Elijah) says there are two Dan's and neither is available. I proceed to let him know what is needed, if he could please send a message to BOTH Dan's and have the one who I spoke with call me back. After explaining what is needed, Elijah quickly responds there is no such tool as a leak detector. That HWA is asking for something that cannot be provided. I called HWA back and got a little louder with them. I know it's not the person on the other end of the phone, but I am not going to be lied to and asked for things that can't be done. After several days of no response from TIGER and HWA not budging, I tell my husband the full story, not just the bits and pieces. "Bull" he says, "they want the tech to run a sniffer along the lines". I just broke down and cried. TIGER HAD LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING!!! All they want is to sell unsuspecting callers a new system. SHAME ON THEM! Also, shame on HWA!! They made ME do all the work. I have since called and cancelled the warranty they made me buy in order to place the service call. If you've gotten this far... Lastly, we called Weidner Refrigeration. I had COMPLETELY forgotten about them! They came out quickly, ran the sniffer along the lines (no leaks), demonstrated how to clean the system, connected a device to tell us exactly how low the refrigerant levels were and got everything right as rain. They were a blessing! BAD TIGER!!! Never again! read more

When the AC conked out on the hottest day of the year so far, I looked online for help. I called the number listed for Family heating and AC and was surprised when they answered with Tiger (never heard of them) They came out right away and the tech took 2 hours and a crap ton of pictures of gauges and readings to tell me the compressor was shot. Had me on the phone with a manager who tried to sell me on the premium system with all the bells and whistles because my original AC unit is older and the part may not be available. I resigned myself to the thought that it's gonna cost me. After a week with no contact from them, I called another company a friend recommended. That company came and within a half hour replaced a part, washed it out and were on their way leaving a trail of cool air in their wake! So glad they never called me back! read more

For at least the last 2 years I have been patiently working with your company to get the issue rectified. Your technicians damaged the ceiling in my bedroom walk-in closet. Each time they were in my home, they failed to put any drop cloths on my clothing, leading to several hundred dollars worth of dry cleaning. I have spoken to your care representative Missy on multiple occasions to rectify the ceiling. She sent one 'company' in to give an estimate. Actually, it was just a guy that now knows where I live, the layout of my house, and where my bedroom is located. He ghosted her and never called her back. So now, she has sent in another guy. I brought up my concerns that I didn't want some strange man in my house and she assured me he was reputable. 2 months later, and here we ae with no repairs, no peeps out of Missy, and yet another strange man knowing where I live, the layout of my house, and where my bedroom is located. I went to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau, but low and behold, your company is not endorsed by them. This review is directed at Mr. Todd Kiefer, or Mr. Jeff Gamblin. AVOID DUE TO 'DIAGNOSTIC FEE' SCAM: I was seeking an estimate for air duct and dryer vent cleaning services. Having not had this service before, I called Tiger on April 3, 2023 for a price estimate. During this call Tiger advised that they would need to visit the property in order to provide an accurate estimate ahead of providing the service. On April 4, 2023 Tiger visited my home. The representative completed the inspection of the property. He then told me I had to pay $99 for 'diagnostic and fuel surcharge fees'. I was shocked as I was unaware there was any fee required. After inquiring with their representative further, he contacted someone at the business who (1) confirmed this fee; (2) said that I was 'on a recording' agreeing to this fee; and (3) threatened that a 'lien' would be placed on my home if I did not pay the fee. I asked for a copy of this supposed recording of me agreeing to these terms and received no response. However, I paid the fee as invoiced and advised Tiger, through their representative, that I would be disputing the charges as I felt that this was a scam given that I vehemently dispute being made aware, or ever agreeing to, paying such a fee. Other vendors in the area do not charge this fee and I would put anyone on high alert to avoid Tiger due to the poor customer service, terrible business practices and their 'bait and switch' style of dealing with the public. read more

We got a quote through a different company months before we called tiger plumbing. The previous company scheduled a service and didn't show. After months of calling, that company said they didn't make a part any longer for what we needed. We decided to call somewhere else. Tiger came out the next day. The tech took plenty of pictures and gave us plenty of options. We scheduled and they were out the next 2 days and finished up with no problems. They even took pictures of what they did to repair and replace. They were very thorough. Glad we called them. read more
