I freaking love this place. I will drive the 20 minutes just for some boba milk tea. It would be worse if this place was any closer to me. It is not your average boba tea place. There's not taro here, or thai tea, or honeydew; and that is absolutely okay! This place specializes in black sugar milk tea. They also have other fruit teas like Oolong and Green tea - but these are traditional flavors and not the sweetened American version. Going back to the milk teas. They have five in total. And they only come in one size right now (trust me, they're doing you a favor by trying to control your consumption because it is addicting). My favorites are the #1 original Signature (Brave as a Tiger), #4 which has coffee, and #5 which has EGG PUDDING. Every time that I go there, fiance gets the signature drink and I order both the coffee and the egg pudding drink because I have FOMO. Now, what I mean by the drinks is that the standard Signature drink is made of black sugar boba (and black sugar drizzle along the sides the cup), pearl milk, and cream mousse. That's the #1. A #4 is basically that same signature drink with an added coffee latte. A #5 is basically the same signature drink with added egg pudding. In the signature drink and the coffee drink, they use both regular-sized boba and MINI-sized boba. And who doesn't love anything mini-version. The sweetness of the black sugar is a different kind of sweet than white granulated sugar. It's better. However, I'd have to say the egg pudding is my all-time favorite right now. I drank whole milk and i dont regret it. I HAD to stop by this boba tea place oooo and thank god I did because i had one of the best boba drinks ever. To start the location is out the way for me tucked in the corner of a plaza. Very small place with a lot of staff, people constantly coming in and out. I ordered the signature drink with coffee. They DO NOT have alternative milks. Only organic whole milk which was a slight bummer. Definitely need to change that and the reason for my one star deduction. Davie area is coming up!! All these new boba spots. I had tiger sugar in Las Vegas & Texas and I was so excited that they were opening one in south Florida. I really liked how the atmosphere looked and all the stuff saying "brave as a tiger." This location just opened and I've had tiger sugar about 2 times this week. My go to order thus far is the tiger meets pudding. I personally LOVE the mini tapicoas only but perhaps with all the toppings, the mixture of the big and small tapicoas would be better. Walking in to Tiger Sugar is just amazing to smell the delish sweet smells in the air it is legit!! I got to have the match boba which is made with Japanese Matcha and the homemade boba and milk. I highly recommend if you love matcha and I enjoyed that it wasn't overly sweet! The taro pudding boba was so awesome! I've been a search of the perfect black sugar milk tea around the area, and so far this has been the closest one. I ordered Black sugar boba + Milk tea + Cream mousse (#1) and my sister got the #3 (basically the same as #1 but with Chocolate Malk milk in it). Both of use loved our drinks and will definitely drive for 25 minutes just to get our boba fix again. I would highly recommend getting #1 if it's your first time and dont know what to get. The tiger theme is quite tacky, but it's fun. All the items on the menu are also tiger theme and would have slogans like, "brave like a tiger". We went to the casino close by afterwards confident because we had the drink that promises to make us brave like a tiger, although we did lost all $20 trying to gamble. You must also shake your own drink approximately 15 times for everything to be blended together, I recommend holding it with 2 hands and using both arms to shake it. A classic! So glad this location has opened up so close to my home. For someone who stood in line for over an hour in China town I really appreciate it. I don't know if this was due to COVID or just a regular thing. But that was fine with me. The woman at the front explained the menu to me since it was my first time here. Also, she explained which had a lot of boba pearls in it and which didn't. Which I appreciated the most because I don't like a lot of it in my drinks. The first sip after shaking it up the 15 recommended times was... dreamy! This is a special deliciousness that is way way beyond most boba drinks. My drink was creamy and not too sweet and the black sugar boba was softer and smoother than any boba I've tried. I had Tiger Sugar in Houston and was excited to see them come to South Florida. There is currently no seating or very organized method of waiting in line. There were customers lined up along the wall and even slowly outside the door in the afternoon. There's a large digital menu by the door, but we couldn't even access it due to the number of people inside. We had to wait until we were at the register to see their menu. Tiger Sugar specializes in brown sugar drinks with a milk or coffee base that are beautifully captured in pictures. I ordered their signature coffee drink with boba. My absolute least favorite part is that they combine regular and mini boba -- I've always hated mini boba. I'm not sure if you can just order regular boba or if it's already combined, but I wish they told you! The coffee was rich in flavor, but very sweet and creamy. Tiger Sugar is a Taiwanese Boba Tea company that has been recently opening new locations all across America. The fact that they opened their first location in the Bay area in September of last year, and just opened one in Broward county last Saturday is tantamount to our appealing market. I'm not sure how I found Tiger Sugar, I don't know if it was Instagram or if one of my Yelpettes checked into this place, but the minute I saw the Instagram pics and realized it was a Taiwanese company I knew I had to check this place out pronto. Coincidently it's located in our "Asian" business corridor, which is Stirling Road between University and 441. This street is loaded with everything Asian, from grocery stores, Vietnamese/Thai/Cantonese/Chinese BBQ restaurants, Boba tea's, Asian shaved ice, Massage/Foot Massage, you name it this street has it. Anyway, when I walked in I think their A/C was out as it was a little hot, but the inside is impeccable and they had a revolving electronic menu. This place must be really popular because being it's only been open since Saturday it was somewhat crowded. What really impressed me was their use of organic milk instead of creamer in their milk-based teas. What is also very unique about this company is they do not use white granulated sugar in their drinks or high fructose corn syrup based syrups, they use black sugar which is popular in Taiwan, Japan, and China. For those who do not know, white granulated sugar has no nutritional value, and it is more addictive than cocaine. But black sugar not only has a unique aroma, it's also rich in minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients. I ordered their signature drink "Brave as a Tiger", made with black sugar boba, Pearl milk, and cream mousse. I'll just leave at "I Loved It!". I have previously heard good things about Tiger Sugar and it was a nice surprise to see one open in Florida. I was in town for work and knew I had to stop by. Located in a busy older strip mall, parking can be tough but I was able to get in pretty easily. The location doesn't have any tables and is pretty much to go only. Delicious! After having black sugar boba in Orlando for the first time, I was so happy to find this place local to me. I haven't gone but my husband picked some up for me. Therefore I can't attest to the store itself. I got the Vietnamese coffee with black sugar boba. The taste of the Vietnamese coffee was wonderful! The sweetness from the boba definitely boosted the flavor! I will say one thing I dislike is that they use a mixture of regular sized boba, and tiny boba. Just from drinking the drink, I accidentally swallowed and/or aspirated on the tiny boba multiple times. It made it a little less satisfying to drink, and would definitely ask for all regular size boba next time. Another negative is that they do not have alternative milks. Unfortunately that means a few of my friends can't/won't come here. It's definitely a small change that would increase the customer base and satisfaction of customers.
