Enjoyed very much the Coffee Cream Porter!
    Alden C.

I have to say downtown Greeley has greatly improved compared to when I lived nearby about ten years ago. It used to kind of feel like a forsaken place and anything that would involve fun downtown activities would require going to another town. One thing that helps the downtown is that a brewery is here. Tighknit Brewing was very busy and doing well it seemed with the amount of people it was bringing in. Continuing with a small series of cream ales or cream beers I got the Coffee Cream Porter here. I liked it fairly well with it's smooth creaminess and richness with the coffee flavor feature added in. I do like Coffee Porters very much and sometimes they just hit the spot and this particular day was one of them. Nice space here at this brewery and intriguing beer selections. I almost was going to get another, their Mexican Lager but I decided not to as it was time to move on and try out another brewery I haven't tried yet in town.

My husband and I went to Brix as our third & final stop on our personal "brewery tour" of Greeley. As soon as we walked up to the counter, we were welcomed by the lady behind the bar, giving us recommendations for different beers to try based on what we liked. I ended up getting the Solitary Minds Double Imperial Stout which was extremely powerful, flavorful, and definitely a slow sipper. However, it was delicious and we felt super comfortable chillin' in that brewery which was decked out with Christmas decor. So cozy! We'd definitely come back here to try more of their beers, and maybe next time, their food, too!

Fun spot in downtown Greely! Really liked their Oktoberfest. They have a few board games, and a few light bites on the menu. Didn't try any food, but it all smelled delicious. Trying the pretzel bites next time for sure. Friendly service!

Came here for a drink and an appetizer. This place is the type to come to with a friend or two to grab a drink and some finger-food. They have a bunch of beers on tap and also had a few ciders on tap. I thought the guava cider was cool, which I think should be on tap most of the time. They had hard seltzer and also had traditional Stem cider on tap. Need those gluten-free drinks! I suggest you and a friend come by if you are bar-hopping in the area. The bacon-wrapped dates were really good. I had them without the cheese melted on top since I am allergic to lactose. See my attached pictures. Extra for owners: When I came on a Friday evening it was busy and the seating seemed to be limited. The staff made room for me by carrying over a few more chairs at the bar. I'd like to see a few more seats, if possible, in here. More 2-to-4-person tables so that one or two people sitting at a table don't leave many empty seats, as I saw in a few places. I know it's tough with customers sometimes. I also like the finger foods and would like to see a few more gluten/dairy-free options. Maybe some nachos with chicken, sliced jalapeños, pico de gallo, mango, and some shredded Cabot (lactose-free) cheese melted on top. They make many cheeses naturally without lactose now.

    Beer taps for days!

Fun place with soooo many taps. They offer tasters if you need them. The beer menu is massive and most are local brews. All the tables are vintage repurposed old doors or windows, fantastic! The regular menu is small as their kitchen is a tiny prep area. The nachos we had were yummy and the beer was cold and perfect.

Even though they weren't that busy, we still waited a long time to get served. We were definitely ready to get out of the sun. My daughter tried a few different things before she ended up with the pumpkin spice county fair cobbler sour. I got a flight of five different beers, ranking them as close as I can remember: 1. Out of office lager 2. Beer flavored beer 3. Leafer lager 4. Chela Noches lager 5. Barrel-aged undead Honestly, all five were fine, but 1-3 were my favorites. We sat for awhile and played with the resident black cat, Midnight, as well. I could see stopping back by on a future visit to Greeley.

My daughter does not have a taste for beer so she sampled the seltzer and settled on the Cherry Popper. I am always for the dark beers so after trying a sample of the brown and the stout, I chose Wired Greasy Grinder milk stout. The seltzer was interesting as it was not back-sweetened like so many are. It was more like a flavored sparkling water, but with alcohol. She really liked it. The milk stout had a wonderful malty, roasty flavor that I love. When my friend arrived, she chose the same as me and we all sat and enjoyed some conversation. This is a nice location tucked away just off I-25. I look forward to visiting again.

The suds-slinger made their recommendations &, I'd trust this guy with my children, he was so spot on. The Wired Greasy Grinder Milk Stout $7/16oz is phenomenal (awards confirm) - incredibly well-balanced & a come-back-for-more flavor. This one went home with us. Blown Tire - a very solid red/amber - no bitter finish, very smooth and easy to drink.

I got a…read morevariety of different beers here and by the time the beer experience with this brewery was finished Steve and I tried about five different beers of theirs and it gave us a really good idea what kind of quality to expect from this particular brewery. The first beer that I had was the Honey Helles. I do love Helles Lagers and I do especially like it when honey is an ingredient for beer. This was a good example of balancing that beer style and having the presence of honey in the flavor profile. Other things for your taste buds to look for is grainy and earthiness upon your tongue. Definitely a nice beer for the summer but in my case any season is good to have this one. After that we had the Chill Pill Bavarian Style Pilsner. Another good and solid beer from this brewery. Flavor features with this pilsner is saltiness and breadiness. Tasting the bready was an extra plus as we do love a beer that has breadiness at work for flavors. Moving on from that we had the Perfect Patio Porter. Once again... a very solidly made beer that was very good. Flavors to look for on this porter is coffee, vanilla, chocolate and a very nice mellowness to this dark beer. We drifted to red ales after the porter and got the Red Fox Irish Red Ale. This had very pleasant notes of caramel, maltiness , sweet and clean aftertaste to this very well balanced beer. Our final one was one that was still good but felt like it was our least favorite and that was the Fattyboogler, a Scottish Ale with maltiness, sweet and clean flavor features and a smooth body. I am very picky with Scottish Ales so that is part of what was at play here but also it just wasn't one of their beers that hit us on the same level as the others but only by a slim margin. Greeley is really getting a nice brewery scene these days and Rule105 Brewing is a stop that should be made to see what craft beers the city has to offer if you are out and about checking out breweries and doing a tour of them.
