Food was cold when it came out. There is nothing worse than cold fish in your taco and no sauce either. They did not put blackened chicken in my daughters Chicken bowl. The items weren't in the correctly labeled box (musical dinners after cutting into it) and the items were made incorrectly. When you call they tell you that next time you can have a free entree. I am a local and TFlats is a staple restaurant here in Central Florida. I love their food! I just moved in the area and went to order take out. The restaurant was about 2/3 full, the line just built up after my order. I stood for 30mins for my $7 chimichanga. Went home & my chips were stale. If they were truly busy, chips should've been frequently made fresh, but not my batch apparently. They aren't attentative to people waiting around the restaurant waiting for their order...People who sat with their drinks and sauce get first dibs, people trying to take food home ...not so much. read more

This was the absolute worst Tijuana Flats that we've ever been to. After 30 minutes waiting to get food we went to inquire about it. They told us the printer had broken and our order was lost. Manager refunded food but put a rush on food order. Waited 20 minutes for our "rushed" food. Asked about order again. When food finally came out they told us they were out of black beans (really?). Also, only had one fork and two knives with our two plates. When we asked about another fork, server told us they were out (of forks, really???) and they had to open another box. Might have been easier to bring food and forks out at same time since we can't eat without them!!! On another note, servers had to be asked to fill cups (very unlike Tijuana Flats). Usually they are constantly walking around asking if you need refills. I really hope they get their act together. Tonight was a total disaster:( read more

Stopped in for lunch after spending some time shopping. 2nd time at a Tijuana Flats and 1st time at this location. I was very happy with my chimichanga and my wife with her burrito. The sauce bar is a little intimidating but the smack my sweet ass and call me sally with sriracha was perfect; just a enough heat! The service was excellent, from the young lady to who took our order to the numerous folks who stopped by to make sure we were still doing well. The chips that came with it were ok. I found the price a little high but for a chain restaurant that is to be expected. We will definitely be back, probably on either Tuesday or Thursday when they offer their taco and burrito specials! read more

First time I ever ordered Tijuana flats my husband and I have been trying to give businesses some business since he drives truck and has stayed working. We were so excited to try something new! Order was picked up by door dash and never delivered. When I called the store a very rude "Cassie" said it was not their problem I had to call door dash,so I do and am told by them the restaurant was directly paid I had to deal with them. I call back this time sounds once again like " Cassie" so I ask if it is and she stumbles on her words and says no it's "Zoey" so I explain again and ask for corporate phone number,I am put on hold for five minutes. Now the phone gets picked up by "Joel" apparently neither girl told him what was going on and this very kind person immediately refunded me my almost 38.00. If Joel is not in a management position I would recommend he get one!! This kid did everything right! To Joel I give five stars,the other girls need some real retraining of customer service! So in the end we still haven't tried Tijuana flats food to review it. But thank you once again Joel! read more

The wait time here is crazy. I waited for 40 min for a burrito and quesadilla. The burrito was okay but nothing great... The chips queso and salsa where very good so was the steak quesadilla. Everyone here is really nice but doesn't know what they're doing. The food has the potential to be really good if you can get your order right. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with sour cream, tomatoes, and onions. I got no sour cream, no onions, and about 3 chopped tomatoes. The person I was with got a burrito bowl where they asked her if she wanted black beans or refried. She asked for refried and got black. Also, all burrito bowls come with shredded cheese and there was none. She went in to ask for some cheese for the burrito bowl and they gave her queso.... The table next to us had people waiting on their order from the time we walked in to after we were done eating. People kept coming out to them to fix this issue but then would walk away and never come back to let them know what's happening with their food. We were very disappointed in this restaurant today. We ordered our food and then noticed there was ketchup in large quantities on the floor when they refilled the containers and just left it. Our granddaughter stepped in it of course. She then noticed a large cockroach under the table right in front and of course she did not want to eat there. They got rid of it with no comments or apologies. At that point we noticed the restaurant had not been cleaned from the night before., as we were the first customers in. I was so excited when I found out at the beginning of the year they were opening at Tijuana Flats near my house. This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Jacksonville. But I have since learned not to come to the store when I'm already hungry. It just took me 23 minutes to get a plain vegetarian burrito. And I don't know if the food really doesn't taste as good here (as in the store I used to frequent in Jax) or if I've just waited so long and now (subsequently) so hungry that I'm eating so fast (by the time I finally get my order) that it's just mediocre. Whenever I come here I'm HANGRY by the time I finally get my food. The other issue is the girls taking the orders always have to socialize in between customers. Okay, so I've been here a couple times now and unfortunately it gets no better. This time I just couldn't believe it. So I ordered the nachos with blackened chicken and black beans. I wait way longer than anyone at my table and when it comes and I start to eat it, there was no chicken as I'm a quarter way in. So I send it back and 2 people come and tell me that the chef said that since you ordered beans there would be a less amount of chicken. Okay understandable. When my nachos come the 3rd person reiterates the meat to bean ratio. Well I got 4.5 almost 5 pieces of blackened chicken as shown in the picture. Even on the second try. The girl who brought it said well we put less chips to help the problem practically saying it's the same just less chips. BUT i barely had beans also as you can see in the picture. This is probably the most horrendous service I've ever had. I walked in, placed my order. Fifteen minutes later, I checked in and was told they were backed up. Another fifteen minutes later, I was told it would be right out. After a final fifteen minute leg, I politely requested a refund. I'm sure the food is excellent if you've got two hours or more to spare, though. Please consider replacing staff. read more

Coming from Texas we have some really great Mexican food places that are fast food. The taco was bland but large. I also ordered a chimichanga smothered in queso, it was good, the steak was great.
