I remember when I was younger. I loved this place! Now, I'm older. I still love the hot sauce bar, but the food is not that amazing. I'm a chimichanga guy, love them. T flats chimi... mostly tortilla. Not a lot of filling. Kinda boring flavor too. The tortilla itself provides more flavor than the chicken. The flautas were ok, however the only stand out flavor was from the tortilla. Chips were way over salted and over peppered. Queso was average. I love the concept of T flats, just not the food. They have great beer that they'll give you in plastic cups for like $2 a pop, which is a heck of a deal. Their tacos are top-notch and the closest I've found to a tex-mex flavor. been going to Tijuana Flats for many years now. always order the same thing-chicken chimichanga with refried beans and rice. for the past few years, it's gotten progressively worse. first getting rid of the yellow rice and switching it to plain (bland) white rice, then the portion sizes-of the chimi, the rice and the beans-now come in little cups-pathetic. But the worst came today. I've been going to this location for over a year now and the food and service has been consistently good. They have a nice size patio also. The staff are always nice and helpful. The one thing I wish they could fix is the patio chairs. The chairs are bare metal on concrete and extremely loud and noisy when moved, and they are constantly being moved by customers and the staff. Speaking of , the sweetest cashier held the door for me . What a bonus to have great service and spectacular staff working . The shrimp lime bowl that I ordered blew my mind it was so tastee. This has to be one of the slowest restaurants in the WC area. And most of the food is already pre cooked; just needs assembled and maybe heated a little. They just appear so unorganized. In there waiting on a pick up that was already about 10 minutes past pick up time. Only 3 tables seated in the place, see one table take half their food back cakes it wasn't done right. After waiting longer than I should have I find out they haven't even started my order yet. Given them so many tries, just tired of overpriced Taco Bell with worse service. Sad. read more

My chicken tortilla soup took nearly half hr, and it came w separate "tortilla" strips looking like a Chinese duck sauce snack. Beef bowl looked greasy & very unappetizing. All served in plastic containers despite our eating onsite. Finally, worsening an already bad meal, we ordered a large queso that apparently doesn't come with chips. Instead of admitting the menu should make this clear, a teenage server berated us for not knowing this. He threw down a bag of over-salted chips to go with over-salted velveeta-looking queso. The service here is great! I have only had problems once with my order being wrong and management was quick to make up for it. What I don't like is the parking lot. There is not enough parking, and not enough road. Okay Mexican food...decent prices, good service, and acceptable food. This location has a nice outdoor patio (but an awful parking lot). If you can find a parking spot, it's a great place to enjoy a casual meal with friends. They offer sangria and beer, and their chips are pretty good. An upgraded version of Mexican fast food. The employees at this location are extremely accommodating. (We've been coming for 2 years). The hot sauce bar is great an the art/pix on the walls and ceiling keep the kids busy through the meal. I usually get the salad with chicken. The guacamole isn't the best I've ever had, but its ok. I have nothing but great things to say about this TF location. First of all they staff some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. Even on the busy Taco Tuesday they usually have someone greet you at the door to open it for you with a warm welcome. They staff to accommodate for the busy lunch crowd. Tonight we called when our curbside order was supposed to be ready, waited 10 minutes to watch it get placed on a high top, then an additional 5 minutes before we had to call again to have it brought out. This location is conveniently located next to a few stores and also Sam's Club. There are a number of places to eat around there though. This is One of the smaller Tijuana Flats that I have been to. The service was decent but I've had better at other locations. The good thing is that there was not much of a wait but of course it is a holiday weekend. The tables and floors were clean, thank goodness The portions a little smaller than the other competitions. The taco with steak comes with two tacos for $7.99. I normally order their version of the burrito bowl which The steak one is also $7.99. Their small salsa is pretty small and you have to purchase it on the side similar to chipotle. I placed an order through the Tijuana Flats website for delivery. I know they don't do their own delivery and contract out to a third party. My order was supposed to be delivered by Postmates. I placed my order at 5:45 on a Friday night. My first confirmation said that my delivery would be delivered by 7:45. I thought this was an automatic response and kept checking for an update. It got close to 7:00 and my food had not even been picked up yet. The only information I had from Postmates wasn't really telling me what was happening and the time began to get later than 7:45. I decided to call Tijuana Flats directly. The manager, Madison, got on the phone and asked how she could make things right. We decided that she would try to contact Postmates to see if there was a driver close and if not I would come pick up my order myself. She called back within 5 minutes and said she couldn't even get through to Postmates. However, her area manager was at the store and was getting ready to leave so he would deliver my food personally!! Talk about going above and beyond!! They remade my order so that my food would be fresh and the area manager delivered it. I had ordered a soft drink with my meal also. Because it was a decent distance, he stopped just before getting to my house and bought fresh 20oz bottles to replace my watered down drink!! They also threw in some dessert and a very sweet note from Madison. I understand things are rough on everybody especially with this pandemic still looming but they definitely took their service to a whole other level!!! I wasn't even angry or yelling.
