We have been looking for a good Mexican food spot and I think we finally found it. We had a party of 8 & everyone loved their food. The service was fantastic. Only downfall was that the pitcher of margaritas tasted like it had no tequila. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive for us & will be back.

EXCELLENT service The guacamole was amazing and definitely looking forward to trying another dish.

3 years later we decided to give this place a second chance and I'm glad we did! Salsa was flavorful, guac was good, and the price for a pitcher of margs is perfect! Service was still a little slow but we didn't mind it. We'll be back to try more items and for another pitcher!

Went early on Saturday nite. The hostess who seated us was in a hurry to take our order, when we asked for a few minutes she was taken aback. She then seemed to be off shift. Food was good. We may try again

Always a super meal here. Live music every other weekend. Fresh authentic Mexican food at reasonable pricing. .

Full bar, super fried ice cream dessert. Fun place for large groups or date night. Lots of parking. They take reservations and I recommend having g one on the weekend

This is supposed to be the crispy deep fried chimichanga.

The staff was very kind. I knew I wanted the chicken chimichanga before I arrived. They said I could sit at the bar, so I did. The beer on draft that I ordered was out. I ordered a regular margarita. It was good. My meal came out and it was literally a raw, not even grilled burrito. It was tasty, but not the crispy fried tortilla that should have been a chimichanga. I'll give them another try and order my chimichanga extra crispy.

Enchilada special .... Chicken, beef, bean, cheese.

When you walk up to the entrance, you don't expect what you see when you walk through the door. The wall art and decorations are truly impressive. I read some reviews about the service being slow, but I have to say they were very quick and the place was fairly busy. It was our first time here, so we ordered some lunch specials. Our waiter was definitely hustling and very attentive. The lunch fajitas don't come on a sizzling skillet, but they definitely just came off of a sizzling plate for sure. I found it to be a very good deal, and a very tasty! My dad loved his enchiladas, I don't remember the exact name of them, but there was one of each beef, chicken, bean, and cheese... in a ranchero sauce. He loved it! all in all I was impressed more than I expected to be and will definitely go back. Lunch specials are definitely a good deal.

Family restaurant, walk in and seated right away for a midweek dinner. Menu has all of your typical Mexican offerings. The Mocaljete is large enough to share for 3 people. It wasn't made with caucus leaves they use zucchini which is disappointing. But the sauce is favorable. The waiter was constantly trying to up sell your order, suggested the house guacamole which costs more but it really wasn't a guacamole, more like an avocado salad. Maybe a pitcher of sangria instead of a glass, extra tortillas, etc. Portions are large enough to share especially if you eat the complimentary chips or order an appetizer. Definitely will go back.

Very nice atmosphere & we enjoyed the food also. Service was a big off, but not enough to keep our experience from being pleasurable. We started off with the chips & salsa, which was a little spicy but not too much so. If you like sangria, just letting you know that the serving was enormous! Dinner was the enchiladas supreme fajita quesadillas & the steak quesadilla. A little unusual that beans and/or rice were not included with our dinners (other than the fajita quesadilla). But the entrees we ordered seemed plentiful enough that we didn't leave hungry.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in New Port Richey! Love the tacos and margaritas. Great service as well.

The place is smaller than it first appears, though the front patio gives it a more spacious feel. Inside, there is a narrow bar with about 15 seats and four high-top tables along the walls and windows. The setup has an old-school pub feel, with shelves of bottles behind the bar and several big-screen TVs for the sports crowd. We were greeted by Scott, who was serving as both bartender and server. Great name... hes wearing the "WTF Scott" tee shirt pictured. I didn't ask. He was friendly, offered good suggestions, and made me a very tasty Buffalo Trace Manhattan. My wife went with a draft beer, and the service got the evening off to a strong start. Following Scott's recommendation, I ordered the Drunken Shrimp Mac and Cheese. He promised four shrimp, but the dish arrived with five, which earned him a "WTF Scott"? And and a fist bump. My wife chose the chop steak hoagie, and that was a winner as well. We ended up taking home half the hoagie and a portion of the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was not especially traditional--it was more like pasta in a loose, cheesy sauce with a texture closer to tomato sauce--but it was still tasty. The hoagie was especially good, with a soft bun that held the meat, mushrooms, and onions together well. One drawback is the amount of underused space near the bathrooms and rear hallway, though making better use of it would probably require a costly renovation. Even so, the patio was busy, the atmosphere was very casual, and both the food and service were solid. Our total came to a little under $50 before tax and tip, although the roughly 3% credit card surcharge is always an annoyance. Overall, Steamworks Pub is a super-casual spot with good food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. It is definitely worth a try.
