Empanada choices were either buffalo chicken, Costa Rican style black beans and rice with Gallo pinto, and caramelized banana. I tried the buffalo shredded chicken ($5), which was served with the buffalo chicken flavored dip. It did not taste like the typical buffalo chicken with Frank's Red Hot-not very flavorful or spicy. The empanada dough was fried well though. The fried okra side ($5) was your typical fried okra. The okra came as chopped pieces, served with a ranch-flavored dip. I ordered the shrimp basket and made it "Cat 4" style", which is almost like a sweet Thai chili sauce coating on deep-fried battered shrimp ($15). They were served over crispy fries, seasoned with a slightly sweet paprika-base. This was the best dish of the foods I tried. I only wish the shrimp sauce was just a tad bit more spicy. This is also very filling and I couldn't finish it all. Definitely order this. They require a minimum of $5 for credit cards.
