We went here in the early evening to get some ice cream. There is no sign behind the counter to tell you the ice cream flavors. They have them written on the glass where they hold the ice cream but it was illegible. Many people in line were complaining about this topic. The service was great and they did get the long line down quickly. Super friendly and patient staff. There are tables and some seating outside for once you order. However, they need to double it as there isn't enough to support the amount of customers that are there. You may be standing or sitting on your car eating your treats. There also wasn't one trash can to be found outside. Which many that everyone had to come on to the already filled small space to throw away their trash. The inside is kinda hectic. You wait for your ice cream and then pay to the right. Then, you have to cut across the line to leave which means balancing your treats while trying to maneuver around the people in line. Again, they do a great job getting you through the line as fast as possible (really up to the customers making decisions and how quick they are - which being out of flavors caused some rethinking). This place was ok. Girls were less than friendly. Inside they didn't have a lot of seating at all. Donuts were good and it's nice they had a lot of flavors. They had 3 girls working all just on their phones which was annoying because the napkin dispenser and the spoon dispenser were completely out and we had to ask for it. Another worker comes over and says that's the local special even though it doesn't say that anywhere. Ok I live and work here, offer for to show my NC ID. Still rings up $57.54. Again I question this and she has no explanation, doesn't offer to fix the issue, refund the difference, cancel the transaction, doesn't ask another coworker, doesn't call a manager or owner. She just stares at me blankly and says she doesn't know. I left without the doughnuts and will dispute the charge. Charging something other than the price on your own menu board is illegal. An employee who can't explain the prices they are charging, comprehend that $19.99 times 2 plus tax doesn't equal $57, or doesn't even try to fix an obvious mistake (or ask another worker for help is a really poor representative of a what is really a great local business.
