When the fish weren't showing up, he kept us moving to try different areas. So, we got a nice tour of Lagunda Madre too. Lots of dolphins both day. Got some great video of three jumping along the boat in tandem. All kinds of birds. A few stingrays were caught we got a close up look at them. So, even if you have someone who doesn't fish they can go as an observer, see lots of wildlife and enjoy the day. Had fun both days and would definitely recommend them.

I loved this entire experience and we were lucky to book a slot where it was only my group and a family of 3 on the boat. Faith and captain did an amazing job of making sure the ride was comfortable, fun and entertaining with all of the stories and history (which was actually quite fascinating and not boring!) we got so many beautiful views and honestly the waves were fun! As someone who's scared of sinking/drowning this boat ride was seriously super safe and fun! I can't wait to come back with family if there's still a captain (ours is retiring unfortunately and moving to the Caribbean)

There are a lot of these tours and they all pretty much take you to the ship channel but this one has a water trough down the middle of the boat and the boat guy drops a net and hauls in some rays and fish that they place in the water and they allow the kids to touch and teach them about the different fish. Not like a boring lesson just what they are and such. A big ship came through the ship channel and my granddaughter got to see a whole pod jumping and playing in front of the bow of the ship. She smiled from the minute we left and for days after. Highly recommend and it's also one of the most economical for families too.

If you come here, you must bring binoculars to watch all the birds that call the wetlands home. We were pleasantly surprised that the house is stocked with supplies that including plastic dishes for the kiddos, board and card games and so much more. It was so clean and had plenty of bathrooms / space for our large group of 10 . The beds were so comfortable and it was perfect for our family beach weekend.
