Great family cruise. Not too crowded so we had space to move around the boat and we saw several…read moredolphins. The kids each got a turn to drive the boat which was exciting for them. Definitely would take this cruise again.

This review is for their Wine & Cheese sunset cruise. Don't pay the extra $25 for it. Since they do…read morethis only once a month, they don't really have the wines stocked. I think there was only one bottle of pinot noir and the other red was a cabernet. The charcuterie was a little clear box of mostly crackers, 2 pieces of meat, dirty grapes and little cubes of cheese. Not as pictured online. What I suggest instead is to go on the boat for their dolphin watch or sunset dolphin watch. The staff are nice, captain is friendly and knowledgeable and the cruise is quite enjoyable with shade and seating, but if it was fuller, I can understand why it would be hard to have to stand for 1.5 hours. They suggest that you show up 1 hour before, I guess people are often late, if you're coming from the other side of the ferry. If you're already on Port A, arrive 20 minutes before so you're not waiting to board outside in the heat. Parking is behind the gas station, cross the streets and check in. Also if you do the cruise the same time the pirate ship goes out, 6 people can shoot water hoses at the boat as you pass by, kinda fun for the kids on board.

Granddaughter was visiting so we decided to take her out for a sunset dolphin cruise and glad we…read morepicked this one. There are a lot of these tours and they all pretty much take you to the ship channel but this one has a water trough down the middle of the boat and the boat guy drops a net and hauls in some rays and fish that they place in the water and they allow the kids to touch and teach them about the different fish. Not like a boring lesson just what they are and such. A big ship came through the ship channel and my granddaughter got to see a whole pod jumping and playing in front of the bow of the ship. She smiled from the minute we left and for days after. Highly recommend and it's also one of the most economical for families too.

I am so disappointed and upset by this company. My family and I are visiting Corpus Christi and…read morevery carefully researched our options for a dolphon boat tour and landed on Dolphin Watch Nature Tours. We made reservations about three days before our visit and were told to show up at 930am for our 10am tour. We got our kids up and drove 25 minutes to the dock, sunscreened my two excited kids only to be told that their boat was dry docked and wouldn't be going out. Listen, I get that unforeseeable things happen. But the inability to contact me in any way shape or form to explain this before our wasted time and gas to the dock is inexcusable. They said we could come back for the evening tour with no other considerations like a discount or anything for the trouble and trip. Well, we are indeed coming back for a sunset tour but its with another boating company. I would not trust your reservation with this company especially if you are making a drive to see them.

This was fantastic. We got lucky, as the captain proclaimed. The cranes came out to the open beach…read moreand a few of them even flew around for a while. And there were plenty of other birds, including Tri-colored herons and Reddish egrets. Not to mention ospreys and hawks galore. But the captain and the mate were what made it special. They were fun, funny, and incredibly informative. They also made sure we were comfortable and happy. They leant us nice binoculars and had a telescope they would focus on the far-away birds and let us look into. In short, they really cared. They were as nutty about birds as their customers, which is what you want and need for an experience like this. The captain was an aviary scholar who happened to captain a tour boat. Perfect.

Great trip; highly recommended…read more The purpose of our weekend in the area was to see whooping cranes, and the company guarantees a sighting - they know where the cranes hang out and we saw at least a dozen pairs. We saw many other birds (the captain called them out) and dolphins. The boat holds at least 30 guests and has both open observation decks and enclosed seating below. Wear non-slip shoes and bring binoculars, a hat, and a jacket. There are small toilets on board, and we were served drinks and basic snacks. They have about a dozen loaner binoculars if you do not have a pair.
