Absolutely rocked the 5 star!! Best Chicken Marsala I've had in a long time. John had #15. It was good but not as tasty as mine!! So comfortable, quick and friendly service too. I asked for kinda spicy and they gave me their equivalent of "5". I'll definitely bump it up because it wasn't that spicy at all. Fresh enticing aromas of cardamom and ginger and curry greeted my nose and made my stomach give an approving growl. I was immediately seated and enjoyed having the restaurant virtually to myself on an early Wednesday afternoon. There was a very loud table of ladies sitting across and behind me, so I put my noise canceling head phones in and enjoyed a single dinner. Which was enough food to feed 3 or 4 of me. The butter chicken was delicious and the garlic naan, so good. I collected my next two meals of leftovers and quickly paid with my Amex. I know it's more expensive to accept Amex, but it's my only option when I'm traveling for work so I appreciate the smaller places that accept it. I think I'd give them 4.5 stars. It's very good, not great. So I'll do 5 stars because for Sioux City, I guess they're great. The food taste was 4 star, quantity compared to price (especially when considering other Indian places we've been to) would be 5 star, service was 4.5 star, atmosphere was 4.5 star including looking modern and clean. Next time, for heat, I might ask for 7 out of 10 peppers. I got 6 of 10 this time and that did have some kick. By the way, they do have a less expensive lunch menu, which I appreciated. For two people, two entres including pop and one order of bread it was about $43 including tax and tip. read more

As an Indian who loves to cook and eat Indian food.... This place was horrible on so many levels! It was like someone liked the idea of Indian food but never actually ate it, was making it. The food was horrible. I don't even know what the samosa shell was made of but whatever it was, it was nasty. All the food was nasty. The malai kofta had full pieces of cashews where most crush it or blend it to give it a smooth texture. The desserts were bad. We didn't even bother finishing them. It was a massive waste of our money. The green chutney served with the samosa was way too chunky when it should be smooth. We heard the microwave and then wondered how much of the food was actually being cooked and not from frozen or something. If I could give it zero stars I would. We only went because it was closer than the other Indian place.... We really wished we went to the other Indian place instead. Also there was nothing inside that said welcome to an Indian restaurant... a few pictures on the walls but those too looked like someone just found at a regular store. Nothing about this place seems Indian at all. So beyond disappointed. Save your money and skip them! read more

The food was very good, and the portions were quite large. Service was quick and friendly. Building was very quiet, no music.

My daughter took me there to try it and I wasn't disappointed. The service was on point and the food was very good!! The restaurant owner came and checked on us and was very nice and happy we chose to eat here and thanked us again when we were leaving. We will be coming back!!! read more
