The service was good and food is delicious. It's counter service, so it's very casual. We will definitely return.

Tikka N Wrapz is the perfect place to dive into Indian cuisine and try a little bit of everything! I am super unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, and the owner was super helpful when picking out what to eat! She helped to steer me in the right direction, and she even allowed me to try some different meats to decide what I wanted. She is very passionate about Indian cuisine being very accessible to even the pickiest eaters! For my meal, I ended up with the chicken naandilla, masala fries, & the Mango Lassi smoothie. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Mango Lassi was smooth and creamy and a perfect pairing to the spice of the Tikka sauce on the naandilla. The masala fries had the perfect spice and were the crispiest fries I've ever had. The chicken naandilla was flavorful and both sweet and spicy. Dipping my Naan into the Tikka sauce was perfection, adding the perfect spice to offset the sweetness of the Mango Lassi! I was so impressed with the food that I ordered a mint lemonade to go, and boy was I glad. The tartness of the lemonade mixed with the freshness of the mint was absolute perfection! I loved the vibe of this place as well. Each wall is designed with a different graffiti mural, which adds flair and creativity to the place. There's also TVs showing off their various food options, which is helpful for those unfamiliar with Indian cuisine! I will definitely be back to try some more cuisine! I'll come back for the food but stay for the homey, friendly staff and vibe of the restaurant!

I stopped by for a quick lunch on the way to the airport. The food here is as fresh and flavorful as I remembered it to be. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with any of the food items here!!

Tikka N Wrapz is located in Robinson near Walmart. What a hidden gem! This is a locally-owned fast casual Indian spot that serves traditional cuisine with a twist. The staff is super friendly and will walk you through the menu if you're not sure what you like. You can make your own bowl or try one of the chef signature's or street food options. My husband and I loved the butter chicken. It was spicy but not too spicy. It had delicious, authentic flavors. I'm still thinking about it! We also enjoyed the mango lassi as well. There are SO many options, there really is something for everyone! There's plenty of parking, inside seating, and it was very clean. I will definitely be returning to this spot!

I tried Tikka N Wrapz at the Veg Fest earlier this year. Of all the dishes we had at that festival, they served our favorites. I recently released their brick and mortar is in my side of town. I stopped in to grab lunch and work through a few things on my laptop. The restaurant is clean and has fun murals painted on the walls. Service was quick and ordering was easy. They have a build your own menu or dishes to choose from. It smells DELICIOUS when you walk in. I chose the power bowl and it was PACKED with so much. I left full but not feeling gross. Will definitely be returning with my husband. They also offer a BOGO on Tuesday evenings.

Tikka N Wraps in was a pleasant surprise! The setup is part fast-casual, part traditional. You can build your own meal/bowl/naan taco/"naandilla" like at Chipotle or order from their classic Indian menu. I went with the butter chicken and samosa chaat, and both were absolutely delicious. The butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, and the samosa chaat had just the right balance of crunch, spice, and tang. I also tried the Chicken Biryani, which had great flavor but was a bit too spicy for my taste (I can't handle much heat lol). The interior is surprisingly spacious, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it's a great spot for anyone craving Indian food with options for both quick bites and full meals.

A chipotle-style joint but make it Indian! It was my first time at Tikka N Bowls and it didn't disappoint! I ordered the Tikka Masala or Butter Chicken bowl. The ingredients were of quality-- the bowl was fabulous & fresh. I love to see another easy & healthy take/out joint in the PGH area. I will definitely add this to my weekly rotation. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, educating me on the menu & doing so with a smile.

We had a great experience at Tikka 'N' Wrapz this past weekend! The best way I can think to describe it is as the Chipotle of Indian Food. Patrons come in and can order from a set menu and make adjustments as they see fit, or you can build your bowl or wrap from the ground up with a variety of proteins, vegetables, sauces and other add-ins. It was a little overwhelming at first just since the menu is so exhaustive; however, we were warmly greeted and shown the steps to order which made it very simple and straightforward. I ordered the lamb naandilla (a ground lamb quesadilla made on Indian flatbread), and my wife ordered the chicken gobi manchurian bowl. We both ordered from the set menu as those items looked good and came highly recommended. In addition to these, we also ordered two samosas, 2pc of garlic naan and a mango lassi. Everything tasted great and I loved the mint and chutney dipping sauces for the samosas. This is definitely a place I could see myself coming back to! The interior decor and warm colors were also very inviting.

    July 2024 menu: build-your-own
    Tiffany Y.

Tikka 'n Wrapz is a local Indian restaurant. Its menu has sections for build-your-own entrees, chef's signature entrees, street foods, sides, desserts, and drinks. Please see my attached photos for the menu in July 2024. My husband and I ate dinner here. The employees' service was definitely 5 stars. They immediately served us, they thoroughly explained their foods, and they were super-friendly. I enjoyed the Rajasthani thali, which contained 15 items! I thought that the samosa chaat tasted OK. My husband liked his yellow lentils dal and naan. Unfortunately, he did not like his build-your-own chicken-tikka bowl. He could have chosen different ingredients, or perhaps he would have enjoyed an entirely different entree more.

I love this place! Today at the suggestion of the owner, I tried the naandilla, his take on a quesadilla. It is a flatbread called Naan, with fillings: mixed smoky chicken marsala with cauliflower, then I chose sautéed peppers and onions, pink pickled onions, and cilantro yogurt sauce. Then he coated the filling in shredded cheddar cheese, and pulled the bread over closing like a very fat taco. Then he heated it all up and wrapped in foil to eat holding in my hands like a taco. It was so warm and comforting on this 27 degree night. He was so careful to adjust the heat level down to my level of spicy. I asked for a level three spicy after a tasting of various levels. Perfect for this gringo! I still had to have the mango lassi, which is a tangy kind of milkshake, perfect for a bit of spicy food to calm it down. Love it!

Let me start by saying that the food was of the highest quality, and everything was delicious. The place was also very clean. That said, the place was completely empty. When we walked in there was nobody around, and because of the various TVs playing music and sports nobody heard us come in. We stood for several minutes and were about to leave when a guy popped out of the kitchen and looked surprised that we were there. He got us seated and watered quickly after this. Service throughout was pretty bad, with dude number 1 and our server more concerned with their phones and the cricket match. There was a bit of a language barrier too, but we worked through that. Anyway, we started with samosas, and they were pretty good. I then ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and my wife had some kind of shrimp curry thing. We also ordered naan, which didn't arrive until the middle of the meal. Again, everything was very tasty, but the service was a bit frustrating. I also want to point out that this is not a buffet, and that the menu is expert level. By that I mean that there are no descriptions or images of the dishes. It's just a list - chicken tiki, chicken vindaloo, etc. - and if you don't know a lot about Indian food you're going to be using Google a lot. Anyway, I will probably give these guys another try because the food was legit. Hopefully they will work out their service issues and maybe enhance their menu to better suit the market that they are in.

this is a long overdue review for my favorite indian restaurant in the city (and possibly my…read morefavorite restaurant of all). i eat here almost every week, but keep forgetting to leave a rating. time to fix that :) bombay to burgh is an amazing restaurant. it's always delicious, with food that tastes fresh and perfectly balanced. as a fan of indian food, i love how the menu isn't stuck on the classic dishes that you find in every indian restaurant in the US. sure, you'll find butter chicken, tikka masala, palak paneer, naan, and biryani, and they are all very delicious! but there are also dishes like bagara eggplants (described by the menu as "spice stuffed baby eggplants in a roasted peanut, sesame, poppy seeds and coriander gravy, finished with tamarind and coconut") and chicken xacuti (described as "a classic, aromatic chicken curry from the coastal region of Goa, India, known for its complex blend of freshly roasted spices, toasted coconut, and tamarind for a tangy balance"). i ordered both of these tonight and can vouch that they are extremely tasty and worthy of your attention. personally, my only struggle here is that literally every item on the menu looks delicious, and i hate having to choose! which brings me to my favorite part of this restaurant: sunday buffet. now, the food is wonderful every day of the week. i just ordered some tonight myself, so i definitely recommend it. that said, my absolute favorite time to come is for the buffet on sunday. i think buffets get a bad reputation for being all about quantity over quality and for having an unpleasant atmosphere (the passive aggressive "don't waste food" signs that most have don't help, either). sadly, these complaints are true of most buffets. bombay to burgh is a wonderful contrast and, in my opinion, does buffets the way they ought to be. the atmosphere is pleasant (no signs!) and you're likely to see many regular customers. there's a good chance you'll even be greeted by the very owner, G, and get to speak with him a bit! the staff is all very friendly and helpful, always doing their best to make sure you enjoy your visit. they are always happy to help if food needs to be refilled at the buffet or if you want to order anything. finally, and most importantly of all, the food is amazing! unlike most buffets, bombay to burgh only puts out a limited number of offerings: 2 appetizers, 2 meat entrees, 2 vegetarian entrees, 1 bread, 1 rice, 1 dessert, and 1 beverage. i think this is the perfect number to ensure there's both variety and quality. plus, you can actually try a little bit of everything, which usually isn't possible at giant buffets. my favorite part is that every week brings new food, which is now usually themed around a certain region of india. you know they'll always have reliable butter chicken and garlic naan to make you happy, but the rest of the buffet might be dishes you've never eaten before. it's a perfect way to explore different flavors and new food, without worrying you'll waste your money. eating out is a bit pricey anywhere these days, but i personally think that the buffet is still very affordable. have you seen the price of appetizers recently? just the fact that you can choose from two of those with your meal makes it a good deal to me! i feel very fortunate that i get the chance to eat here regularly. while i've loved indian food for over 20 years at this point, bombay to burgh has taken my appreciation to a whole new level and has me researching more food to cook myself. it's a wonderful place to eat!

I have no basis on comparison with other Pittsburgh area Indian restaurants, but this seemed to be the one with the best reviews, so we chose this spot for dinner. There is very limited street parking out front, so you may have to circle around the block to find a free spot. There's ample seating for dining in, with tasteful decor throughout the restaurant. We started off with a mango lassi (4.5/5) which was delightfully refreshing with the proper hints of mango without being too sweet. For the appetizer, we ordered the B2B Chicken (3.5/5), which seemed almost like a very mildly spiced chicken pakora. The chicken was tender, but there wasn't much flavor in the batter it was fried in. For meals we went with the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken (both 4.25/5). Both had delicious gravies without being overly heavy with cream, with the chicken tikka masala being a tad bit spicier and more robust due to the onions & bell pepper content. We wound up going with garlic naan (4/5) and malabar laccha paratha (4.5/5) for bread since they didn't offer a plain or butter naan as an option...both were tasty, and the paratha was a great alternative to the more traditional plain naan. For dessert, we went with the nizami phirni (3/5), which was described as a "slow-cooked pudding with broken rice, milk, nuts, saffron, coconut, and cardamom" on the menu. The flavors were very muted, as we were expecting a more traditional kheer, which generally has a stronger flavor of saffron and cardamom. Service (3.5/5) wasn't the best, with 2 people waiting on us at random times, but was otherwise friendly. While we found the dessert a bit disappointing, the rest of the meal was pretty fresh and flavorful, so are glad we got to try to try Bombay to Burgh (overall 4/5), and would recommend them to others looking for decent Indian cuisine in Pittsburgh.

Even the fountain drinks were a pleasant surprise with multiple fresh brewed teas to select! The store is very modern and clean with cute Italian Street decor and plenty of options to sit from bar tops, regular tables, high top tables! They really aim to make the dine in experience worth your while too!

I will definitely be trying again as they have a solid menu. I loved the chopped salad with avocado and grilled chicken plus loaded with all kinds of goodies. The dressing was amazing. The salad was one of the best chopped salads I've eaten. The portion for a large is more than enough as I knew this would be my dinner as well. Service was great and they were busy. I enjoyed the perfect mix of dressing on the salad. Also ordered some of rhe bread sticks which everyone enjoyed.
