In short, I recommend you see Travis first and then shop others after you have spoken to him…read more In detail, after visiting a more than half dozen show rooms, from all ends of the price and quality spectrum, I stopped by the floor depot almost by accident. Upon entering the store I realized that the inventory would not include what I was looking for but Travis politely engaged me and I learned a great deal from him. Importantly, following his recommendations, I found the the right tile for us at another showroom. I got a quote from them and returned to see Travis. He secured that same exact tile at a huge discount from the number I was quoted by the manufacturers actual retail showroom. He saved me thousands. He also helped me secure small amounts of backsplash and mosaic tiles. They were a bit of a hassle and had to be very tiny to no margins for him but he graciously secured them for me after a number of glitches ( not related to him). He is well connected, experienced and responsive and I recommend you see him at the beginning of your search. He will not try to sell you on his own inventory unless there is a great match for you. He will send you on your way better educated and like me, you may return to have him secure what you have found elsewhere. I highly recommend him and his team. Mark

Updated from 01/01/2025 - someone hacked my account and left a misleading review, had to repost…read more The project took longer than expected, unfortunately when unexpected personal issues arose for the workers. We have to remember we're dealing with people. The issue is we see the purchase as a concrete product and get frustrated when delays or problems occur. Then the staff has to walk a fine line making sure they back up the people doing the physical work. I understand this is labor intensive and takes a skill level. My complaint is I have an expectation when I pay for something and I see it done in phases due to delays, I get frustrated. I would recommend to anyone looking to do a landscape project, make sure you understand weather and personal things cause delays, if you got the flu, then someone in the landscape crew might get ill as well. Some crews are doing multiple jobs at once and your project will be done in phases. Things have to be set up and dry etc. Plan on getting the work done before you expect to use the yard to entertain. The second thing that came up is if you add or change any part of the project you will be charged extra, If you decide after work has started that you wanted your pergola to be on concrete pillars, then the cost will change and I felt it was higher than it should have been. I strongly suggest really going over the plans and making sure you're clear on what is included before finalizing the invoice.

I called ahead before coming in because I had 14 catalytic converters from AMA road racing bikes…read morethat I was planning to scrap. I specifically asked what documentation would be required. I was told to bring proof of replacement parts purchased and that everything would be handled in the office. Based on that information, I drove to the location. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Instead of handling the transaction as discussed, I was immediately accused of stealing the converters and told I needed receipts for the aftermarket parts installed on the bikes. I showed proof of purchase on my phone and explained that I had been told I could email the receipts once I arrived. At that point I was told that emailing them was not acceptable and that I needed to go print them out myself, and that a police report might be filed. Wanting to resolve the situation properly, I left, drove to UPS, paid to print the receipts, and returned to the store. When I came back with the printed receipts -- exactly what I had been told to do -- I was then told the receipts were "no good" and they still could not accept the converters. At that point it became clear that my time meant nothing. This entire process resulted in a waste of my time, gas, money, and my team's time, and the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily degrading. Businesses should operate with clear and consistent communication. If customers are told what documentation is required and go out of their way to provide it, the requirements should not suddenly change. Because of this experience, I will be advising others in the motorcycle community to avoid this location. I'm involved with riders and instructors through organizations like Motorcycle Safety Foundation and AMA racing circles, and I will absolutely be warning people to stay away from this business and any location operating under this brand. I hope management sees this review and looks into how customers are being treated here. This situation could have been handled much more professionally.

We are a dealer for nearly every major brand of Hardwood flooring. Our service includes all of Phoenix Metro as well as Sedona, Flagstaff and Prescott. Owner David Sacco has residences in both the Valley and in Sedona so serving Northern Arizona is a natural part of our business. With over 30 years of experience and over 6000 past projects, we offer a wealth of hardwood experience. Our referrals are often for repair work as we have proprietary techniques for matching existing wood floors. Note, we are not and never have been a conventional store. We work on an appointment basis bring samples and advise to you in your home. We have our own millwork shop and make custom baseboards to match existing, or even your own special dream design. The shop also helps in duplicating discontinued prefinished floors when a customer needs a repair. As hardwood flooring is just a very specialized form of finish carpentry, many customers have us do other woodworking projects including fireplace mantles, cabinet and furniture repair, or even duplication of existing cabinet or shelving units. Because of our expertise in floor finishing, we also find ourselves refinishing exterior doors that are suffering the impact of Arizona weather.
