Noe Pablo was the most thorough in messaging through the Yelp app, so my husband and I chose him. I had 2 medium-sized fruit trees I needed to transfer from my parent's home in Southeast San Diego to mine in North County. I took pictures and he gave us a very reasonable price. We also decided to also add another service to take out our palm tree. There were a couple of mishaps such as: The day he was scheduled to take out the palm tree, he was a no-show and my husband had to call him an hour after he was supposed to arrive. Then, the day after that incident, was the fruit tree transfer. He and his team forgot to bring their dolly. Thank goodness my Dad had one so they borrowed it, but now we have the burden in taking it back. Despite these mishaps, Noe was very knowledgeable and professional in his mannerisms. Rudgers Landscaping and Construction (David and helper) responded quickly when I contacted them…read moreabout an irrigation issue where the center of my lawn would not turn on. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill almost immediately. The owner refused to listen to what I was trying to explain and immediately started cutting into irrigation lines without discussing pricing, troubleshooting strategy, or even what he believed the problem might be. Instead, I got long "war stories" about other lawns he had worked on, which did nothing to address my issue. In the end, he never actually found the problem. Instead, he capped off piping and rigged the system so water flowed through all the sprinklers, but with significantly reduced pressure and coverage compared to before. When I pointed this out, he ignored my concerns and told me to go buy different sprinkler heads because that "should" fix the coverage problem. I would expect a professional irrigation contractor to properly diagnose and solve the issue himself. He also replaced the top portion of my solenoid valve with a larger setup that now prevents my valve box door from closing. After I contacted him about this, he promised he would come back and correct it. To date, I have heard nothing. The cleanup and restoration were also sloppy. Soil around the sprinklers was carelessly replaced, and the entire job felt rushed and unprofessional. I honestly regret paying for the service. I do want to say that his assistant was respectful of my property and professional throughout the visit. I only wish the assistant had been the one leading the job instead of the owner. At one point the owner mentioned that he installs artificial grass as well. Based on my experience with this irrigation repair, I personally would not trust him with any landscaping project.
