According to the website, this chain is named after the owner's golden retriever. It sure looks happy. Parking is available in front of the building, as well as along various village side streets. The inside is nice and modern. Funky looking speaker system (it's functional) in the corner. Great view of the water. There are also a couple of outdoor tables to the E of the building. Staff are friendly and cheerful. No complaints. The doughnuts are a bit pricey but they sure are delicious. I really like "Asian" style doughnuts as they are less sweet than their western counterparts. I had the matcha cream and could definitely taste the matcha. Will be trying their other locations at some point. Recommended.

The drive itself led us to an incredible bay that genuinely felt like we'd been transported to Alaska--calm, wild, and breathtaking--and then there was this cozy little gem waiting for us. Any place named after a dog and so welcoming to dogs instantly wins my heart. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, even though the place was bustling with happy locals and travelers alike. Every pastry in the case looked beautiful and tempting, making it nearly impossible to choose. The coffee, though--absolutely perfect. Smooth, balanced, and exactly what you want on a crisp morning adventure. Goldie's felt like one of those special finds you don't plan for but remember long after. If you're anywhere nearby, it's a must-stop.

The raspberry scone we tried was TO DIE FOR. Best scone I have had in my entire life and I will now be spoiled for scones forever. Moist but crumbly, buttery, rich and the raspberry comes through. It actually tastes as good as it looks. It would be a travesty to visit Whistler and not try this shop. Go early as things sell out. RUN.

I'll go on record sayig these are the best donuts in BC hands down! If you go early enough you can pick up a dozen for 15$ and they will still be hot. The cake base is nothing short of magical and then choose your toppers as you wish. My personal favourite is the pink with sprinklers. Store owners are delightful and the shop is filled with what I'm sure is a small fortune of collectibles and figurines from all ages. Give them a go if you haven't yet! Mange!

The place is small, with one lady making donuts, another at the register. No seating available. Now to the donuts, we got one peanut maple donut to try and a dozen for home. We also got plain and cinnamon sugar. We were able to package them in air tight containers and take them home to Texas. The maple peanut was a delicious donut however I don't know if I'd say it's number one. It wasn't anything special to me--same with the other donuts. They're small but good to split if you just want a taste. I think there are definitely better in Vancouver but nonetheless, I'm glad we tried it!

The donuts were soft and fresh, with plenty of flavours to choose from. Prices are quite reasonable, making it easy to pick up a few extras! The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful while I decided what to get. I appreciated that they also offer savoury options like breakfast croissants, sandwiches and coffee, if you're looking for something beyond sweets. The shop is easy to get to, with plenty of parking in the plaza. Seating is limited, but it didn't feel like an issue since most customers seem to be grabbing their orders to go.
