Great start to my morning until I ordered. Order was wrong, so wrong that the bagels were cold, unbuttered and the toppings weren't present. The person making food said "just throw it away, I'll make new ones". The "new order" lacked passion, especially the soggy bacon and green eggs. So before we left I asked the front if I could please have a cup of water (to wash down the bagel clog in my throat) and the cashier said "that will be 25 cents". We were ready to pay with a credit card because we didn't have a quarter on us and she stormed off. Terrible location if you want anything other than a doughnut or to be treated like a human. Usually, I'm underwhelmed when I enter a Tim Horton's in the Dayton area. I expected the worst but I was surprised. There were two people near the cash registers, and some perky blonde woman started talking with me about what I wanted. (Now, I really wanted a roast beef or pastrami panini, but they don't have those.) I got my usual smoked ham and cheese panini on multi-grain bread. Their multi-grain is better than their other breads, and I don't like bread. That and a drink came to $6.00+, which isn't bad if you consider Panera Bread where you get a cold, tasteless slice of meat and a slice of cheese with uninspired bread for more than that. At least, that's what I got at that other place. When I got the sandwich, the bread was a bit too toasted, i.e. black on the edges, for my taste but it didn't have a burnt taste and I wasn't going to wait for another in any case. They really need to take care of what the customers see. The glass at the counter was dirty and the appliances and bins behind the glass were dirty or greasy. I'm not talking about a health hazard, but a visual hazard. No one should see a food preparation area look like that. read more

I've been to a few tim hortons in the area specifically trotwood/englewood locations as well as fairborn/beavercreek locations as well. I try to think that if you go five times to a location you should know the full story on how well their service and overall experience would be. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this has to be the worst tim hortons location in the area. For starters the food is never really fresh. It's either really warm or semi cold as if it needed a little more time to warm up. The customer service is trash, and this is for a fast food place. You don't expect great customer service in a drive through anyway. The fact that the second to last time I went the female on the intercom laughed for legit five minutes before taking my order and it went like this..... After laughing, "welcome to tim hortons, how can we make your day"., I tried ordering a three sausage egg and cheese croissants, only to hear, "i'm sorry we have a wait on sausage", which was fine for me, but to then hear laughing again and the reply, "sorry we are all out of croissants", mind you it's nine in the morning and you're being told they are out of croissants..... I politely declined my order and dipped. The last interaction was a little better. Ordered my usual Three croissants, and everything was going fine, until the young lady dropped my change out of the window, (mind you this wasn't a clumsy hand exchange, just a she let it go) and just looked down, looked at me and closed the door. Surprised and kind of agitated I ignore this for benefit of the doubt, she looked really young and figured she was nervous maybe..... She then comes to the window and I ask for jelly with my order and she tells me it's 1.25 per packet. yet she never gave me any and I just asked for my food and left. The "saint", behind me didn't allow me to get my change as I pulled up just enough to get out of my car they pretty much blocked me in and pulled forward right on top of my change. Needless to say this is the last time I visit such a poorly ran and operated Tim Hortons. I think a upgrade of staff and standards would be good. Fastest drive thru I've ever been to. You don't even have time to get your money ready before they're handing you your food at the window. There's only been a couple times when ordering donuts by the dozens that they haven't had enough and I've had to wait for them to make them. I know they're probably just trying to save money, but I like how they try and conserve what they hand out, things that are usually just thrown out or never even really missed in the first place. You don't get a huge, overaized bag if you order a beagle or donut, you just get the beagle wrapped in a tiny sleeve. And if you order a coffee, they don't give you a sleeve unless you ask for one. you also don't get a ginormous stack of napkins, you get a couple. The hippy in me likes this. read more

I occasionally buy a breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee from this Tim Hortons location. I go through the drive through and each time I'm amazed at how fast they operate. In the morning the line of cars is usually very long, but I don't think I've ever waited more than a few minutes. The food and coffee are also of noticeably higher quality than other fast food restaurants, and worth the slightly higher price. The staff has always been very friendly. One time I accidentally left my credit card behind and when I went to retrieve it I met the manager, who was very pleasant and helpful. read more

Tim Hortons has really stepped up their breakfast game! They've always had the best coffee. Now they have awesome new bagel and sandwich additions. Italian Asiago cheese bagel? Yes please! While this location was prompt and quick to complete my order, my bagel wasn't nearly toasted and the outside of the bagel holder (they didn't put it in a paper bag) was covered in butter. I'm fine not having an additional bag, I just wish it wasn't greasy with butter when I set it down in my car. I do feel bad because the drive through is so long during morning rush hour that it flows into street traffic and I wouldn't be surprised if there were some jams. Tim Hortons' coffee, bagels, and donuts are consistently good. I generally use the drive-through and my order is always correct. The service at the Huber Heights store varies greatly. A few employees make efforts to smile and interact with customers, while others seem to want to get your order and be rid of you as soon as possible. The young lady at the counter inside last week acted totally annoyed to be there. One of my kids wanted a white hot chocolate which is clearly listed on the menu, and she cut us off saying that they don't have that, then just stood there starting at us. When I pointed out that it was on the menu, she then explained that it was not available now while they had holiday flavors. OK. .. how would we know that? I'm going to assume she either didn't feel well or was having a bad day.... but still, she didn't win any marks for customer service in my book. read more

WORST lattes EVAH! Made with skim milk and tasted like canned milk! Even worse than McDonalds latte. All these places put lattes on the menu to get the big bucks, but don't even brew espresso shots. Go without until you find a Starbucks or other coffee bar with decent brew. Pretzel bagel was good, though. Asked for napkins and was told "they're down at the end". Their sign says open 24 hours and so does google . I went at 4 am to get coffee and waited a while at the speaker so I drove to the window to see two employees inside making coffee. One simple word. Gross! We have been a huge fan of Tim Hortons having lived in Canada and Maine. Now we live where there aren't any and on a trip back east we thought we would treat ourselves. What a mistake! The price on a dozen donuts went from $8.00 to $10.00 in the past two years. Well...food prices are going up everywhere, so that is forgivable. We dealt with the price and got a dozen donuts for three people, a toated bagel and two bacon and egg biscuits. We sat down all excited to finally get some really good soft fresh donuts that Tim Hortons has been known for. WRONG! They were absolutely disgusting! They tasted worse than the day old pre-boxed Walmart donuts. Apparently they come precooked now and they just warm them up. What!? How on earth is that ever okay to do with a donut? Then I tried my apple fritter. More yuck! It was completely doughy in the middle. We asked the manager for our money back (which we NEVER do) and they said they don't do that. The employees were nice, but I just think Tim Hortons as a brand has failed miserably. Plus they don't carry condiments. No ketchup! The biscuits were very dry and not a lot of flavor to them. I guess I will stick with Chick-Fil-A when I want a biscuit sandwich. This Tim Hortons does a disservice to the brand.
