I'd rather go in empty handed than bring in any of the "fast-food" chain type of garbage donuts that many seem to flock to. I look for the real local donut shops that know how to deliver the goods. This is not only to impress, but also out of pure selfishness. I am a donut lover and connoisseur and grew up with a donut shop in my family.
