Not a positive experience. Luckily I had not left Xenia yet - after I had already left Tim Hortons parking lot before I soon realized while I was fueling up down the street that the donuts I had ordered were NOT correct. The 40 pack they gave me was of a 40 pack mixed variety. See photo! At purchase I explained that I needed to buy - 40 of the EXACT same type of Tim Bits when I ordered through they're drive through. I specifically asked the cashier if she had enough to fill a 40 pack with ONLY birthday Tim Bits before ordering this size to ensure they could fill it with 40 as I knew these donuts would be counted out by the people receiving them; and I suggested to her that there be all 40 in the box to her as I ordered them. It is what it is. The cashier reassured me that they had 40 fresh birthday flavored Tim bits to fill my order. I thought; really ..(??) wow today was MY day!! ... as this has never happened across the entire Dayton area Tim Hortons. No joke; birthday is usually sold out first thing. My people only like birthday Tim Bits; subsequentl. To only find out that they had given me the WRONG 40 pack of donuts w/in 10 minutes of my purchase. I tried calling immediately once I noticed this mistake; no answer. Once I got back there I decided to go through the drive through to get my order corrected; since it was still before noon on a weekend day - luckily I was able to get my order corrected with 40 birthday Tim Bits. (They must have made more once I left that day??) What is with fast food workers intentionally messing up on your order? These days it is almost too expensive to even buy Tim Bits at any size; let alone a 40 pack for $9.99. I decided to give this location one last try. It's middle of October and they don't have Pumpkin Spice coffee. So I order a different drink on their menu and they tell me they're out. So I order an iced latte. The woman literally hands me a cup of milk with some ice in it. I ask if there's coffee in it and she looks at me with a confused look and says "no" and as I hand it back to her her coworker explains that latte's should have espresso. Pretty basic knowledge for a barista... She goes to make me a new one and then comes back to the window and says "the espresso machine just broke. I can make you an iced coffee if you want." At this point I'm super annoyed and just say sure because I've already paid for the first drink I ordered. Not sure what this drink even is to be honest, but I really can't even taste coffee. This location needs closed! The outside of the building looks horrible. I pulled up to the menu board to order and it had not been maintained at all. Half the panels were crooked and fallen. I have been coming here for 2 weeks as its close to home and I hate driving to dunkin but I now know I must do that. They had no ice capp machine and said it's broken for a couple weeks. Several items I tried to order they said were discontinued. So I ordered a dozen assorted donuts and whem I got home they were 3 types of stale donuts in the box. No real assortment and so hard and old that even my 17 year old son and his friends wouldn't touch them. This place needs to go and a real business put in its place. When will I learn? This TH is on my way to work most mornings so I'll stop. I haven't had a good experience here the last 7 visits despite there being significant time between. If you can avoid this particular TH, do it. The drive-thru line from 0700-0830 is very often at LEAST 20 minutes. The employees make the excuse "we are understaffed." However, they chat, move slowly and make no effort to try and gap that deficit. I always order Splenda. Today they were obviously out of it because they put sweet and low in my coffee without my permission. It was disgusting! I got charged $4 and some change for a loaded breakfast burrito that had nothing but egg and sausage and cheese which I said no cheese on it. I can go to McDonald's and Burger King and get a breakfast burrito that is loaded with a hash brown on it and pay less than a $1.50 matter fact less than a $1.30. This location is way better than the Beavercreek location, and most of the Springfield locations. I have only had my order get messed up a couple of times, and they apologized and made it the correct way. I come here all hours of the day/night, service has only been an issue when it's a dumb hour of the night and there's only one person staffed, instead of the usual 2. I generally get the same drink, so most everyone knows how to make it. Food isn't the greatest, but I'm not big on coffee shop food anyways. The donuts and bagels are always great though. I eat here daily because for some reason I keep fooling myself into thinking things might get better but nope...If you go through the drive thru you'll be in and out in a decent about of time...that is as long as you dont order one of the many things they're out of on a daily basis...when you go in, its even worse....they have one person at register who after taking your order has to go put the order together, no help from an expeditor at all..this means every customer in line just gets ignored while the counter person is doing what a expeditor should do. I only go to Tim Horton's when I need a place to do homework really late at night. The coffee is decent, not great by any means. Don't bother with there "mochas" or "lattes". They have pretty good baked goods that come out fresh pretty regularly. They have free wi-fi and plenty of tables to work at while you're there. The staff is a little grumpy, but then again I'm usually there at 2am. Be warned its about 50 degrees in the store so bring a sweatshirt. Basically, nothing special, but its great if you need to do homework. read more

So this was my 2nd time ever at a Tim Horton's. I literally just finished my sandwich from there about 30 Mins ago. Just moved back to Ohio! I believe the young lady's name was Beth who was helping me and she was very helpful, as well as maintained professionalism while being courteous and still juggling what seem to be a great many things. She seem to be moving five times as fast as anyone else in there in addition to training a newbie(who's body language was slouchy, but I get it she's brand new). Breakfast options seemed interesting & The turkey bacon pretzel sandwich I had was pretty tasty. My coffee was not quite ready so she was very polite having me wait to the side and pacify the situation with a couple little sweet Tim's treats. The options and I'm ambience seem cozy and relaxed enough that I'd be willing to opt for Tim's versus Starbucks. This is like my second review but as a hospitality professional I saw how hard that girl was working her butt off and thought that she deserves some recognition. thanks! read more

While I'm a huge Tim Horton's fan I have to say that this location isn't the best. They are extremely inconsistant and I have orders repeatedly messed up. They need to quit worrying about how quick they can move people and worry about the service because down the road if it continues they won't have many people. Unfortunately for Xenia, we don't have a lot of options with fast food. Typically if I'm looking for a quick breakfast without all the grease and salt, I'm stopping by Tim Horton's. However; there's just something off about the Xenia location. I very rarely leave the building or drive-thru feeling glad that I stopped there. If you're even able to get into the parking lot (due to the drive thru line spilling into the street), you have the pleasure of meeting some young lady on her first shift, totally overwhelmed, bringing down the other girls that have been there a week now. My order is typically messed up somehow, wrong bread, wrong meat or its dried up, regular egg instead of white. I'm just glad that I order black coffee because that hasn't been messed up that I can remember and I do enjoy their coffee. It also usually takes 10-15 minutes until I can gladly depart the premises. I'm not boycotting all Tim Horton's. I understand that they can vary by location due to management (who I'm blaming this one on) and staff and I actually enjoy the experience and quality of other locations. Just do yourself a favor if you read this in Xenia, and you don't want to wait on Bob Evan's, and don't want the fatty, greasy, salty, McD's, Burger King, or Biscuit World, just go to the Speedway gas station instead (or better yet, make it yourself). read more

I actually like their coffee. I am not a coffee snob like most yelpers, but there are places that I avoid. I have never had this location mess up my order in the 3 years that i have come through their drive-thru. They are always friendly with me, but maybe that is because I am friendly as well. The only issue that I have had in 3 years is one time they filled my coffee up only 3/4 full, and they apologized, fixed it, and gave me a gift card for free coffee. I have one regular beef. They never give you an insulation sleeve. They used to about a year and a half ago, automatically, but now it seems to be a cost saving measure to only give you one if you ask. Their cups are not insulated so you have to ask every time. I now just ask when I order. When I don't...they don't. Overall, I like it. They always have a line out to the road in the 10 minutes before each whole hour. Even then it never takes more than 5-6 minutes. read more

The Xenia store has gone into the toilet since Dave Cropper sold it. When he had it the donuts were works of art and the bagels were full. Now the donuts look as shitty as they taste, so no more overpriced dough for me. Real shame. Service sucks, and they are out of products regularly. I have been a customer for many many years, sometimes going there 4x a day. I normally love their coffee but lately they have been slacking on the service and quality. They never have the doughnut or muffin you ask for, you get a sandwich and it's always wrong, they have stuff on the menu they have discontinued and so on so forth. Last night 1/30/18 I was there for the 3rd time at 8:50 pm asked for a hot coffee, dark roast, 2 creams 4 sugars and was told I had to wait 10 minutes because they had no dark roast coffee made, which didn't make sense since they still had an hour to go before closing. Anyways I waited to their dismay and once I did finally get it (15 minutes later) it was cold and the most disgusting coffee I have ever tasted in my life, definitely not just brewed. I Came home and threw it away. Today went again told acting supervisor about it and it was like I was talking to the wind. I asked for med ice dark road light/ice 2 cream 4 sugars and asked for a chocolate glazed doughnut (not available) and I got what looked like a cup of milk and more likely 4 creams 2 sugars. Asked to make it again same thing so I told him and her no way there was coffee in that cup and asked for my money back and left. I will boycott tim hortons if I have to and I will drive across town and walk if no parking to that awesome coffee shop downtown called Coffee Hub of Xenia and make sure that I will tell everyone of Tim Horton's service and attitudes.
