I got the Prime Rib Steak Sandwich and a cup of chili via Grubhub. Delivery of order was good. The container with the chili was wrapped aluminum foil which is a good idea. It prevents spillage and helps keep the chili warm. The sandwich was wrapped really good. Both items came in a paper bag that was sealed to prevent tampering. The Prime Rib Steak Sandwich looked good and presentation was great. However, it was only so-so for me. The steak pieces were like chunks of steak. I found it to be a little too fatty for my taste. A lot of it was not chewable. The chili was okay and came with a spoon and crackers. It was average. I don't think I would go again. The sandwich size and bread seemed good but the steak wasn't to my liking. The chili size was good and taste was okay. I would rate the quality 2.5 - 3 stars. read more

Great overall experience. Despite the winter, the delivery was relatively warm. They wrap the soup in extra aluminum to help trap the heat. The sandwich was phenomenal. Despite it being a delivery meal, it was delicious. I do have to factor in that I was craving a sub, but the Veggie Melt is a 10/10. Quality has dwindled over last couple years and now they add a bunch of stupid "underground" gimic sandwiches and get rid of the classic roast beef. Nice sandwich spot if you need to stop for lunch and are already at the greene. Not sure if it's worth the hassle otherwise, but still in an easy spot to get in and out of if you're in the mood. Workers are friendly and work quickly, which can be hard to come by for this type of establishment. Wasn't the tidiest, tables could be cleared and wiped more frequently than what they are. Got the avo turkey and enjoyed it with chips. Not sure there was any actually avocado on it but the Italian seasoning was a nice addition. We really like the location of this store because it is so close to many other places that we visit so we were excited to check this place out. We have eaten at other locations of this chain and had a good experience. The folks behind the counter were very nice and working with customers but they clearly were understaffed. By the time that we had all our food and paid, our food was cold and the drinks were warm. I saw another employee inn the back who never came out to help. Where was the manager when all this was happening? I am guessing that we will back to give this place another try in the future. Maybe this was just as bad night. We will see. read more

I love coming to this casual joint at the Greene. It's quick and the sandwiches are good. They are all toasted which makes them that much better. I always order either the skinny t-k-y with a cup or soup or chicken salad sandwich on multigrain bread. I always get my sandwiches with hot chili peppers because it provides an extra kick! I've eaten here twice now, with lunch today being my second visit. There are a variety of sub type sandwiches on the menu board when you walk in, and you place your order at the counter. You can pick up a healthy bottled drinks (these all appeared to be unsweetened teas, waters, low sugar lemonades, etc- which I appreciated) or choose to get a fountain drink. There are a few varieties of chips (including baked/ low fat) and cookies available if you want to purchase sides. Salads are also available. There was also "soup" listed, but I didn't see any signs today about what kinds or how much that was. Today I had the Pizza sandwich, which was good, but more bread than filling... I'd give it about a 3. My husband had the Turkey Bacon Club, which he loved. Our kids had an Italian and a Cheese Steak, and they were both happy with their choices. There were a few tables by us that needed wiped off, but otherwise the store was clean. For 4 sandwiches, 3 fountain drinks, a bottle of water, and 2 bags of chips (single serving sizes), our lunch tab was about $41. While that's not terrible, I feel like it's a little high for what you get. read more

I've only been to Potbelly a couple of times and I have been underwhelmed every time. The first time I got chicken salad, not realizing that it would be hot, my bad. So I wasn't a fan, but felt a little more prepared for the second visit. I got online and looked at the menu so I wouldn't feel frazzled and rushed when it was time to order. I settled on a "Clubby" which was a Turkey Club with Ham added. I walked in to order and was told that the clubby was a secret menu item and I could only order off of the menu on the wall. There was nothing about it being a secret on the menu I looked at. Why could they just add ham to the club, I would've been happy to pay additional for it. There was no one else in line, so it's not like time was an issue. I settled for the turkey club (since I didn't like the warm chicken salad) and a cup of "Loaded" potato soup. The soup was ok but I didn't see that it was loaded with anything. I did not see one sliver of bacon, chives, cheese, or potatoes for that matter. I did get two chunks of potato toward the bottom, and I get that the cheese could be melted into the soup so you wouldn't see it but, don't call it loaded if it's not. I ate it. The flavor was not bad. The sandwich was very drippy and had more bread than fillings. Again, I ate it, but I am not waiting to return with bated breath. read more

After coming here for four months and every other Friday they finally got my sandwich perfected. Amazingly they finally got the sandwich right. Super delicious with AWreck- salami, turkey, ham, and roast beef. The sandwich hit the spot on a cold Friday work day. In addition I added the tomato soup. The ambiance was great. The service was good and the sandwich was amazing with the correct tomato, lettuce, hot peppers and Italian dressing. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family finally. Potbelly was a weekly favorite lunch spot for my husband and me in Northern Virginia, and I was extremely excited to see that there was a location at The Greene! We visited this location today for lunch and we were not disappointed! We went right around noon and the place wasn't too crowded but had a decent amount of people eating lunch and in line ordering their food. All of the employees that I came in contact with were very friendly; one of the girls even asked how I was doing and if anything exciting happened yet today. Potbelly doesn't have an extensive menu, but a nice selection of various sandwiches and salads, along with milkshakes, smoothies, and cookies. The sandwiches are made to order so you can order something off the menu and tweak it to your liking; you just tell them what you want on it. My husband and I ordered our usual sandwiches that we used to order when we lived in Virginia and they were absolutely delicious; the taste ranked in the top two best that we've ever had. There was also live music by a musician named H.T. Hat, who was very talented and played the guitar and sang. While we were there, he played songs by Johnny Cash, CCR, The Eagles, The Beatles and some country stuff. It was really great and I didn't feel like it was too loud for the space.
